Dragon Quest Builder's 2

Working on 100%ing Xenoblade 2. I'm over 200 hours in NG+ and haven't even touched Challenge Mode.

OP, do you still play Fast RMX? If you do, can I add you? I have troubles finding online players, and it's been a while since my last race lol.

Chocobo Mystery Dungeon looks comfy.

ff7 is out???

Playing persona 5 on my ps4 whilst pretending it's my switch

Attached: 1528852819027s.jpg (250x242, 7K)

I don't really play it to be honest, or haven't in a long time
It is fun though, add me if you want
SW-4203-1244-9049

Not yet.

>Dragon's Dogma
When did this happen?

Looking forward to Dragon Quest XI S. Currently I'm playing the original on PC pirated and it's a ton of fun so when it comes out I'm gonna buy the definitive version and play in 16 bit comfiness.

Would love to replay P5 on Switch. Mostly looking forward to SMT5 and HK Silksong.

Right now I'm mostly in PS4 mode, finished KH3, playing Hitman, waiting for Sekiro.

>Playan
Okami HD and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, both are multiplat but I got them on my Switch so who cares lol

Pokémon Sword and Shield looks pretty nice, can't wait for Terraria to finish porting, LA remake seems cute, and I wanted to replay LA anyway

Done (Jelash13)

Been playing Binding of Issac, getting fucked by the RNG

Waiting for Chocobo's Dungeon to unlock

Playing MHXX at the moment, incredibly rusty since the last one I played was MHFU. I played MH4U for like six hours but dislike the 3DS controls

Looking forward to Super Mario Maker 2.

Debating on what other games to get since I have about $3000 to spend on a new PC and Switch stuff
I'm mostly looking for ports or Switch games that are going to be 30-40 hours plus and are offline.
Already have Zelda/Mario Odyssey, Diablo, Smash and Disgaea

I don’t know why I bought P5
I’ve always hated the persona series
I literally only like Q and that’s it

Playing Nightshade and going to pick up Caligula Effect next week.

I think it was announced in January. It's coming out in April.

About two months ago

it's my first persona, the comfy days in the city and life sim aspects replaced animal crossing for me for now. it's a more mature form of the thing i used to get from it as a kid. i wonder if the new acnl can reclaim its throne.

next month. getting it for wolves hunt in packs on the go

Me, too. I mean, I will pick Caligula, and probably Chocobo Dungeon.
Nice, I bought Spark 3 for lolz (it was 0,99 euros) and now I have 33% off on Hard West. Oh well, might buy that, too.

I love Kass!

Bouncing between Bastion, Hollow Knight, and Smash Bros at the moment.

Looking forward to the rest of the Final Fantasy ports (gonna get a Jap copy of X/X2 cause they can play in English + they're both physical) and waiting for Donkey Kong Country to go on sale.

All I want is Animal Crossing. Then my Switch library will be complete.

Fuck I forgot FFVII and the AA trilogy were out
thanks for reminding me

I’m not a mind reader not can see the future
I guess I’m a bit bitter at persona for being too “easy” for me
I guess when you’re 1st Atlus games are hammer to balls hard games like SMT Strange Journey and Truama center on DS when the game isn’t pushing your shit in it feels off.
I hope you enjoy P5 I couldn’t be bothered to keep playing after I curb stomped the 1st couple bosses then got bored

Were you playing on the hardest difficulty?

These days all the hardest difficulties are equivalent to Nocturne Normal Mode.

Playing this is the police 2
Gotta day the game feels like a more bullshit XCOM
Everything will be going amazing
10 arrests, no one is hurt full shadow stealth business suit only

But out of nowhere
6 randoms show up, every officer is shot or got caught in a trap everyone is bleeding out my only officer that can defuse the bomb has been hit.

Damn dude. You're good. I'm pretty shit at this game
How does this online mp even work. Surprised they just matched us up

Of course
That’s kind of why I like Q treaded the very fine line between hard and bullshit but it’s just EO with a persona theme and I already like EO

Playing BOTW and Lets Go. Lets go is weird though as a spinoff, it kind of feels just like the regular games with an HD face lift and some nice twists here and there, until you get into wild encounters and have to continuously catch pokemon to level your party up. I don't hate it but I don't know if I'd be happy to have paid full price for it like others did launch, let alone pay an extra $50 just for the pokeball controller.

Yeah it was pretty weird. I liked the new capture mechanics but grinding out hundreds of catches for candy wasn't a good use of the feature in my opinion.

I got this for like $4 and I still felt buyer's remorse. The levels are so boring.

The humour in golf story is so fucking cringe. The game would have been perfect if it was played more straight

26th I think

You aren't wrong, but I really wonder if there was anything Game Freak could have done in this case. At least you can avoid wild encounters , that's a change I honestly enjoy.

Yeah, the story it tries to tell isn't the best fit for basic level design and frustrating enemy patterns.
Most of it stems from enemies being constantly active no matter where they are on screen.
It's not an overly polished gameplay experience and it shows.

>Playan
After my online subscription ended, I decided to keep playing BotW and hopefully 100% it.
btw, how many korok seeds are there? I just got my last stash and I had to find 441 for them please don't tell me there really are 900 of these things

SMT V and Bayonetta 3 the most, out of everything that was shown until now at least, and I would love if Nintendo announced Super Mario Galaxy 3 and a collection of the first two games at E3.

I don't even know anymore. Either the game i want looks like shit in handheld or runs horrible. This is the vita all over again

I have a legit question. If I subbed to nintendo online today, would I get all the games that have been released to play before I subscribed? Or is it like PS+ where you have to have been subbed that month and added them to your game library or you miss out?

Did you take the Atlus survey?
I just want them to port all the vita/ 3DS games to literally anything else
HD Remastered SMT Strange Journey Redux fucking when?

Oh yeah forgot about smtv
Can't fucking wait for that

Plus dqxi. Will feel nice playing some good rpgs

What? for real?
Where the fuck do I even find the remaining 459?! I feel like at most I could find like 9 so the counter stops at 450.
Jesus Christ, what other uses do they have beyond giving me more stashes anyway? upgrading armor? and what does this pile of shit look like?

You get the entire library.

There's no first party Nintendo games you want? Those obviously run fine. I mean what are you looking for cause you seem a bit jaded.

Touché even with that compared to the other games Q somehow pulls ahead

>what other uses do they have beyond giving me more stashes anyway?
Once you max out slots, they're worthless.

If you really care about 100%, use the Korok mask if you stupidly bought the DLC or look up a map.

What the FUCK.
How the fuck does daddy Ninty get away with this literal shit?! I was considering the idea of trying out the DLC just so the heart counter didn't bother my autistic ass but with this kind of bullshit and seeing how they pretty much made getting the motorcycle a stupid idea anyway, i'm just to find the shrines that i'm missing and complete all side-quests.
Do you get anything interesting for completing the Hyrule Compendium or is that a waste of time too?

A local store was closing so I got Crash N Sane trilogy and MarioTennis Aces at really reduced price. Dabbled in Mario Tennis, and so far it seems actually fun and polished, like the GameCube game. Crash is pretty fucking good, but people always told me it was a legendary platformer on the same level as Mario 64 or the DKC games, and Crash just seems to be really well made and fun, but to me it just doesn't live up to how I had people describe it to me.
Either way Crash is definitely scratching that "good game" itch I've had for awhile.

No, but personally I enjoyed getting perfect pictures of everything.

Wait, they did?
My bad then, I honestly don't remember when they said that, so I guess I was in the wrong here.
I'm still going to enjoy this game anyways, if I find any more Korok seeds then that's okay.
Fuck the Compendium though, now that feels like a pain in the ass.

You can just buy all the photos at the lab if you want.

I haven't touched my Switch in literal months, maybe more than half a year now? I just want Animal Crossing at this point. I bet they're just saving the big announcement for Reggie's last conference.

The only thing I hate about my Switch is I’ve spent a little too much money on this.
In one generation I went from Non gamer who watch let’s plays to 1,300$ spend on video games and video game accessories

2017 ended my switch hype

I'm playing Stikers 1945, Dragon Blaze, One Stike, and Magic Scroll Tactics. I'm looking forward to too much to list. My wish list is fucking huge. The switch best console since the DS systems.

Quick question goes for those that got it, does the Nintendo Switch port of Elevator...to the Moon have motion controls? Like, can i use the Joy Cons to look around and interact with the game's props (like Neonwall) or will I be stuck using the analogue sticks to do so as per usual?

Mario Odyssey and a lot of other Mario games will be $40 tomorrow if you buy them digital from Amazon or a few other places, and these games rarely go down in price so it's a good time to binge. Not sure if that deal is NA only though.

I'm thinking of getting Child of Light, Rayman Legends and Starlink.

Can any Smashfags give me advice? Anything below 7 CPU is too easy, and anything above it has psychic reads and air dodges. Is there a specific CPU level that seems to be a nice middleground for you?

If you're trying to get better at Smash, don't play with CPUs. Higher CPUs read inputs and this results in players learning bad habits that only work for cheesing CPUs.

I'm not trying to get better, I play with my friends for that. I just want to grind combos on a CPU that isnt braindead or psychic.

Grab some amiibos, they seem to have different tactics once they level up, both good and bad. Just be sure not to feed them any spirits or they'll be jab attacking you for 80% damage.

hyrule warriors is better than fire emblem warriors

Why? Not like it has shit to play.

> Not all of us have infinite disposable neetbux.
I work full time with a well paid career and still play games. Things like Odyssey only took a weekend to beat. I'm not sure what your getting at, the Switch has just been complete garbage.

I'd argue that it was bad for a while now. I bought it when Mario dropped.

I'd like to give you some Quality of Life tips. Would you like to hear them? Most aren't covered in the actual game.

Not Star Fox with Star Fox.

Sure thing.

Anyone bought Outrun Sega Ages?
can you tell me if it appears as owned on your JP eshop account?
Trying to find out if it's the same across regions like Sonic, or different like Phantasy Star.

A VERY repetitive game
Like, holy shit, you've done and seen everything by the time you get to the second planet. Also Star Fox are there, kind of, barely

Why are you here homo

>posting your home address and credit card number on Yea Forums

1) Don't bother going after Ruins until you reach the Second World. You can only "free" them after you complete the main missions of the first planet and some of the second's

2) You can't switch between weapons/ships/parts digitally so long as the toy platform is active. You have to disable it if you have that component.

3) You'll only need Fire/Ice weaponry for the first 2/3 of the game. Don't feel too bad about encountering Gravity of Stasis chests out in space or on certain planets to the point that you feel pressured into buying weaponry in the eShop unless you really want them

3) Occasionally, you'll have weekends where you're allowed to "test drive" certain pilots. Some of them will have Gravity/Stasis weapons you can use for a bit

4) If you raid a Planet's "Wonders," make sure that you never take the fight too far out of range of the Wonder. Otherwise, even if you win, the high-level enemies that guard them will just respawn. If you don't find and open the chest (which you need to do to clear the Wonder) you unlock through defeating those enemies, they will respawn when you come back to that area.

5) You can add more than one set of wings to your ship for extra stats. But this will increase the width of your ship and will make it difficult to enter certain doors

6) Blowing up Burrs is always easier than plucking them off

7) Space "Wonders" will endlessly respawn enemies. Unlike Planet Wonders, you have to find and unlock the chest somewhere there to stop the endless respawns

8) If you trip a "Hyperspace Trap," you can still Hyperspeed away after a certain period of time regardless if you destroyed all the ambushing enemies or not

9) Unlock the Spire Fast Travel perk as soon as you can. This will allow you to teleport to any Spire in the game, no matter where you are

10) Never do the Wildlife Scan Outpost Missions; they are a waste of time. Just exit the outpost menu and reload it for a different one to recruit/upgrade the Outpost

Go home, Todd.

To tell you how disappointing the Switch is as an F-Zero fan. Hell, to tell you how disappointing Nintendo has been since Wii as an F-Zero fan.
Not to mention all of the games on Switch I'm remotely interested in I can just play on Wii U. Paying $300 for a system that has shoddy online, paid shoddy online that is exactly the same as the Wii U's online, and a majority of its first party library is just ports from their last system, is stupid.

Mk8d is on sale tomorrow.
Should I get it digitally?

rayman legends is on sale for pretty cheap. ive been considering getting it, how is it? i remember playing and really enjoying origins but that was obviously a while ago and it was co-op (no one to play it with now)

Most of those aren't quality of life tips, you're just backseating and removing any challenge by providing optimal strategies.

>1)
Okay good to know saves me some time.

>2)
That's good because I was thinking I rather use the Pro Controller. So would I need to like hook up the toy once to get them to into my inventory then I won't have to mess with it ever again?

I was hoping the weapon that comes with the Arwing toy thing would suffice.

This year...Mario Maker, Astral Chain, Pokemon also AC and Fire Emblem depending on how they turn out

Not very excited for Animal Crossing, I've never really played the series that much so unless this one has something that catches my attention I'll probably skip it. Same for Luigi's Mansion 3 'cause I didn't even finish Dark Moon.
Very excited for Fire Emblem, Astral Chain and Pokemon. I doubt Bayonetta 3 or SMT V are coming out this year.

Maybe. But I really, really, really stand by #1, #2, #7, #8, and #10. Especially #1 and #10. Because those scanning missions were a (horrendous) joke and that Ruin quirk I mentioned actually PUNISHES the player for exploring the first planet on at length before moving on to the first one.

I unironically really liked the daemonxmachina demo and can't wait for the full game.
Anyone else?

What are some good non-first party games on Switch? I swear every time I open the eShop it's just cheap trash.
Literally the only things I'm looking forward to on Switch right now are Animal Crossing and Joker being added to Smash.

It's pretty shitty to ruin the game for someone who only just bought it.

>playing = nothing
>looking forward to = pic
I doubt anyone here even heard of this game.

Is this that crossover game that has cowboy bebop in it

Like last week. I know the stories so well by now that I didn't think it was worth getting. Call me when AA7 is announced.

2) >So would I need to like hook up the toy once to get them to into my inventory then I won't have to mess with it ever again?

Yes.

3) The Arwing Toy set comes with a flame weapon (heavy straight close-range) and an ice weapon (light homing long-range). However, with those equipped, you cannot use the Arwing's default iconic lasers. Don't feel too bad about that, the Arwing's built-in beam weaponry cannot be levelled up like the other weapons in the game. The set also includes Mason, but his ability isn't that great and his voice is VERY irritating.

6) Prickle and Frost Burrs are spherical plants that exist on two of the game's worlds. They attach to your ship if you travel too close to them (even if you're FLYING) and drastically slow it down. When that happens, you can either pluck them off or blow them up. Blow them up.

I'm not telling him about story beats or some of the (relatively) deeper mechanics of the game. Just some anti-hassle tips to allay frustrations that impede the more satisfying moments of Starlink's gameplay loop.

How is Warriors Orochi 3 on Switch? I saw a copy when I went to grab PPT for offline Tetris practice and was considering it.

I'm in the same boat. They need to announce a release date already.

Nevermind, it comes out in April.

I wasn't really sure on it until I played the demo, but I enjoyed that quite a bit and am looking forward to the full release.

No its called SRWT.

Bought City of Brass on a whim, and on Switch since my PC is too busted for games. It's pretty okay so far.

Do you think MK11 will run fine on Switch?

Even though I know it was mostly a DBZ rip-off, I still loved FFIX

I only play it in handheld mode so I can't really give a fair opinion on how it runs on switch compared to other platforms. The game doesn't drop frames but it's pretty ugly and it doesn't always spawn everything that should be there when lots of soldiers are in one place

I enjoy it though, It's a pretty nice game to play a level in, turn off the screen and then come back to after some shitposting or whatever

maybe a bit worse than dbfz. im expecting muddier graphics for sure

How does it go? Is there a story? How is the platforming? Is the combat fun? How bad are the load times? How varied/lovely are the locations? Good enemy variety?
