Imagine still not playing in 60 fps in 2019

imagine still not playing in 60 fps in 2019

how come DMC5 and RE2 both have 60 fps on the pro, while this isn't supposed to be locked 60?

DMC is little tiny baby stages with no dynamic loading. Of course it will run better.

it still has more enemies on the screen at the same time and a lot of skill spamming

That's nothing compared to predicting which direction to load the game based on player movement. Games this always run like dogshit on console hardware.

makes sense, user, thanks for explaining

Look at BotW and TW3, both those games run like dogshit on AMD-tier housefire console parts. I'm sure the PC version of the game will run excellent even on a budget card.

I was actually going to switch to PS since I kind of got tired of shitty PC ports (like Nier: Automata), but after playing on a console for a few months, I realized that games aren't perfectly optimized there either :\
and that I really missed playing in 60+ fps.

I'm currently enjoying DMC5 in 120-144 fps, and it feels amazing after 30-fps Persona 5.

The 60 fps for those games is also unstable though. PC is the only version with a stable 60 fps.

sad desu
do you think we'll see more 60 fps (AT LEAST) titles when the PS5 comes out or do you think they'll target the graphics and resolution again?

Those are some pretty hefty FPS drops. Almost as bad as Bloodborne. I see guys in the comments begging for a 30FPS lock. That is honestly really sad.
Also 1080p is unacceptable in the current year.

PC it is.

I'm pretty sure it'll be a thing when the game comes out. I know that the base consoles struggle to reach 60 fps in RE2, and it's mostly like 45-50, can you lock there?

the Bloodborne engine they keep using simply sucks

>le dark souls
When will they stop? Not everything is Dark Souls.

To be fair, RE engine is godlike

true
I have only played games using this engine on PC, but all of them ran really well on my gtx 970, which is considered a pretty old card by now

Are the system reqs out on PC yet?

DS3 runs silky smooth and this doesn't seem like it will be too insane.

RE2 gets dips into the 40s-low 50's for me fps wise but I cant imagine this game will take more to run than that

(You)

This is mostly because I have a amd 8350 processor. My gtx 980 seems to be fine

>Are the system reqs out on PC yet?

I'm pretty sure it'll run the same as DS3 on PC

Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K | AMD Ryzen 5 1400
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 | AMD Radeon RX 570

>GTX 970

it came out in 2014 btw, and it's still a recommended card for most new games

It's a good card despite the memes.

You guys think I'll get 4K60 on a gtx1080?
I got it with DMC5 without changing shit and I got it with RE2 with turning down some things.

>4K
I dunno dude. RE engine is pretty new and optimized in comparison to FROM's outdated Demon's Souls engine.

Because From Soft's developers are not technically skilled.

It does have dynamic loading and is far more graphically impressive, From is just lazy.

It's a combination of their aging engine, their competency with it and most importantly the underpowered PS4.

Does anyone know if it's locked at 60 fps on pc?

>From Software programmers simply suck
fixed

Most likely. Seeing how it's the same DS3 engine which means that physics are tied to FPS.

>preordered on PS4 because I wasn't sure if my PC could get it to 60 fps but was sure the Pro probably could
>come home and see this

can't you cancel preorders though?

I don't know man. This is the first time I've been able to buy new games in like 13 years. I paid upfront so I don't know if I can cancel.

Like how he didn't run the FPS counter check

Just get it on PC dumb ass

Bloodborne runs like absolute shit on a pro also

of course you can cancel retard, stop being a beta

Because Sony didn't bother to call FROM back in to patch it.

bloodborne was developed and released before the pro, it simply just runs the same as the base ps4 model

which is pretty awful even for a normal ps4
