Pendulum Monsters have 2 scales, for example: If a the first monster had 1 and the other has 8, you can special summon a monster with a lv between 2-7 (this is a Pendulum Summon), pendulum monsters on scales are treated as Spells, so they can be removed by removal options, pendulum monsters destroyed on the scales go on top the ExD, and that's about all I know.

Alright, here's how it is.
Do you see the big number NINE on this card? That's the Pendulum scale. You can play this monster as a spell in your leftmost or rightmost Spell/Trap Zone (thanks, MR4). Now you need another monster, preferably one with a really low scale like 1. You put that one on the other side of your Spell/Trap Zone. You did that? Now, you can Special Summon any number of monsters with a level between the two scales. So with this one (9) and the hypothetical one (1), you can special summon any level 2-8 monsters from your hand. Also, Pendulum Monsters in your Spell/Trap zones are Spells, not monsters, so they can't attack and shit.

Uh, right now? Did you miss the Hasselberry event with Survival's End? Cause that's a pretty good deck if you have Paleozoics (which you should since Canadia is the menace of this game right now). If not you want the ones with the Koa'ki monsters if you just want a top tier deck, but it's two different main boxes so it's kind of an investment even though their highest rarity cards are just SRs. If you have two Gozukis and a bunch of staples you can just play Vampires. Or if you want to spend money you can buy the Ancient Gear structure deck and kill people that way. Did you just start or something?
