The boxart is ugly and feaures the high school anime in the background (which people swear its only the prologue). The artist is a fujoshi and the characters all suffer from extreme male homosexual looks to barebones vanilla women looking like modern day cosplayers in a medieval setting. The animations which were visual treats on previous FE games (sans Path of Radiance) are horrible pre-canned with tons of cannon fodder appearing into scenes, the physics for player-enemy detection is like bowling pins when they collide, and the game looks poorer than Dynasty Warriors Fire Emblem Warriors.

From its inception to delay to further delay, Fire Emblem Three Gay Houses is the most kusoge looking 1st party game by Nintendo. Art, graphics, presentation, visual consistency (why is there a cosplayer girl with a train conductor's hat in the red house?), and location of an anime high school leave a lasting negative impression on this game. Fuck that retarded artist that can't compete with 3DS Echoes or Mobile FE Heroes top artists. Abysmal Switch game that makes Pokemon Let's Go look like a Mona Lisa, pic related, its your FE Three Fujo Houses cosplay character in a Lord of the Rings setting.

GBA animations weren't that great. They were over the top and quite enjoyable, but they weren't fluid like the Jugdral games and Echoes.

Tha kanji represent winter, fall and spring and the beauty of said seasons. They also represent the three whites of art, Winter being blue-white, fall being yellow-white, and spring being pink-white, which happens to be the house colors.

風花雪月 is also a Chinese phrase that indicates the beauty of the seasons. Japan has their own phrase, but unlike Japan's, the Chinese one often has negative connotations of an ostentatious but vapid lifestyle. Maybe it represents the tenuous peace between the three houses or something.

Basically, it's impossible to translate.

The only "shit" mechanic in 5 is the staves missing, but even then after a certain point you literally cannot miss with them.

And how capture allows near infinite abuse, and fatigue you can bypass, and the most broken staves in the series, and PCC at all, and 1% to 99% maximum accuracy make everything RNG-dependent, and staves being able to miss heal a major problem in the early game, and same turn reinforcements especially with the shit level design the game has, and scrolls, and much much more.

Fatige was there so you cant steamroll the game with a overleveled unit, fatigue make everyunit valuable in someway

That was the intention but it doesn't follow through too well when your best combat units have solid HP growths and you get enough useable prepromotes to let your best guys take off days, fatigue impacts staffbots the most and even that's not a big deal since they're all interchangeable anyway and you kind of should be utilizing every staffbot you can in FE5 regardless. Plus S drinks are a get out of jail free card, they shouldn't have been purchaseable.
Fatigue should have been a fixed gauge based on deployment, rather than actions deducting from max HP.

That's just bad game design to make the game entriely luck based. You niss more than yoy think with 1 rng. 2rng is just there to help the player out. It's stupid but whatever
