Literally impossible to beat
What were they thinking?
Literally impossible to beat

>people beat the game
Looks like OP here needs a case of Git Gud
Malphas and biggest of the litter is gonna fuck you up even harder
I got fucked up pretty bad by the chicken. Still not really sure how to handle those portals in the end.
royal guard breaks this boss. He telegraphs his attacks so obviously
What? He was the most easiest boss with auto activated
Ladys boss was hard
Just run around
the trick is to stop trying to dodge his attacks and just mash attack for le epic cutscene that stuns him
what would you say is the best breaker to use against prologue urizen?
Is dmc5 even considered a hard game?
I heard too many complaining it's very easy compared to the other entries. DMD doesn't count since it's expected to be hard.
tomboy for extra dps or gerbera for ez mode dodging
easiest in the series. maybe excluding 2 nobody played that so nobody knows
He was piss easy. The only mildly challenging bosses was the chicken bitch and Vergil as Dante.
It's meant to make your every move feel impactful, but that translates to difficult for people on OP's level.
>with auto activated
The last stretch of bosses were pretty hard desu. Malphas, King Cerberus, Urizen, Vergil.
Easiest normal difficulty
Spikes notably harder the further you go up
Depending on the amount of difficulty modes this could have the hardest hardest modes.
i suck at this game and never had a problem with any boss until the end, except for cerberus
and i played on devil hunter
Malphas was easy, I don't get why people considered her hard
The intention is also that you parry those attacks which is why they're so telegraphed
AM I THE ONLY FUCKER HERE WHO REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING AS V??
t. Forsen
Yea Forums
>doesn't play games
>sits around doing nothing but being a sad fag while other people enjoy and play games
>says awkward shit that makes everybody cringe
V
>doesn't engage in combat
>sits around in the back while his minions do all the work
>recites gay poetry and gets mocked for it
no wonder you like him
Sorry, I was to busy fucking falling asleep anytime I was forced to play V.
His theme is fucking great.
Now I want playable (V)ergil
royal guard motherfucker.
>not Cerberus or Vergil
git gud
literally royal guard all his shit
poor kitty. its not his fault.
He needs better summons. It would be much cooler if he could summon dmc3 bosses.
Even his current summons weren't as cool as the original. Nightmare had a huge moveset in dmc1 but in this game he is very limited and moves slow while draining your dt fast.
No you're not, he's incredibly fun, and I really hope there's a summoner vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2 that plays like him.
You can literally button mash and clash with all his attacks
>nobody played that
speak for yourself zoomer, 2 was piss easy though. Just extremely tedious.
I memed too hard on Artemis and ran out of breakers and HP. Only death so far.
Is this the Royal Guard porn thread?
I legit think people are retarded if they’re unable to beat these bosses in the first go
The summons are not responsive and slow, they get hit all the damn time and it's impossible to combo with them.
you don't even need RG you can counter his attacks by just mashing
Plz tell me king cerberus has his dmc3 theme with lyrics
They should've made it so that pressing RB or the target equivalent makes V stand still and lets you control the panther/bird with the left/right control stick (or just the left with the panther). I enjoyed Boomer, Zoomer and Doomer vs. the Demon Weeb, but V is definitely the weakest link.
The only point I can semi agree with is responsiveness. Because most of the lockon+LS attacks are based on your summons position to the target, it was sometimes awkward or hard to get the right move you wanted to come out.
Pic related for everything else you said peabrain.
I really like him as well, but I need to learn to multitask Griffon and Shadow and string together their moves.
But Royal Guard feels so good.
>tfw mission 18
They didn't deserve this
DH is fairly DMC4-tier easy on DH. Harder modes get a lot harder.
I want to like V but his gameplay is too fucking clunky, pets are retarded and will return to you for no reason
they return to you because you're dodging dumdum
She starts spamming her AOE scream if you stay in for more than a few seconds on SoS and above, it's actually really annoying. Haven't really found a consistent way to dodge it while staying on the offensive outside of the occasional lucky Gebera boost.
The cat returns to me when I use his attack button, not even dodging anything
Because she does a dickload of damage and you have no way to heal
Are you using his R1 attacks? Everything except the launcher defaults him back to V. Same with Griffon's R1+Back attack.
I remember it happening when I was locked on an enemy + strafing to the left + using the cat attack button
It happened multiple time in a row
>playing v without auto
Lel
V is the only blemish in an otherwise perfect combat engine. He has - by far - the most abusable moveset of the three (outside of RG with Dante, maybe), yet he feels the clunkiest to play with. Combos aren't fun whatsoever, controlling his summons feels unresponsive at times, his style rank increases with no effort, and the cane finishers are obnoxious.
You try styling on Elder Geryon then
he's easy. ceberus on the other hand is givng me dmc3 flashbacks. fuck this guy. i can use a gold orb since i have 14 of them but fuck that
i just set griffon to auto attack and control shadow and nightmare
but nightmare is on auto mode
I want to play this game but I've never played any of them, is there some type of weird order they're played best in or can i just go by release date?
Release is fine. Chronological order is 3>1>2>4. You can safely skip two if you don't want to bother with a mediocre, tedious game. It's so boring and easy that you can damn near beat the whole game by just firing the pistols constantly without swinging your sword. You don't miss much story either.
IMO 3 is the best, 1 is fun but not as combo focused, and 4 is fun but has its flaws.
Hypest boss for me so far. I exclusively use balrog with dante cos of the boxing/breakdancing and it made the fight so sick.
>jab, jab, jab, sway past one of his swings, pow
>he swings again and I hop over him, switch to kick mode, kick his head then come flying down
>do windmills while I maneuver behind him as he swings again
>switch back to blow mode, charge a shoryuken and let it go just as he attacks
>MFW SHORYU PARRIES HIS ATTACK AND THE SCREEN JUST EXPLODES WITH EFFECTS AS HE GETS STUNNED
first time I really felt like the game clicked me since I never really played dmc games growing up. This game is too ridiculous with the shit you can pull off.
Only one I've had any real trouble with was Malphas since I only play with whatever Breakers I pick up and I only had one when I got to her. She craps out damage and the chicken going full tard rage fucked me up more than once. It doesn't help that I had just gotten done doing a couple missions in a row as Dante and V, so Nero didn't feel quite as fresh to me.
Cavaliere Angelo is one of the easiest in my opinion. Easy to parry, predictable moves, and you've got plenty of tools to deal with anything he can whip out. I think the only other boss besides Malphas that killed me was Nero's rematch with Urizen, and that's because I thought I was supposed to lose again so I didn't really try against him.
Wtf, I'm trash and didn't get hit once by Geryon.
You try KILLING Geryon and getting a good rating
You can control him manually too. I just do it to use the mega laser thing then I jump off
