Game is unstable as fuck on my GPU (1050ti). Sometimes it crashes on M2, sometimes with Geryon and sometimes playing normally with V, and I already edited the config file to dx11 and disabled the network options as well as updating my drivers.

Some say updating W10 solves the issue but I don't wanna try it. Anyone having trouble as well?

I was playing on a 1060 and didn't encounter any tech problems apart of occasional stuttering in cutscenes but I was playing at 144hz so that was kinda expected.

I felt like chapter 20 was quite simply an asspull.
Both brothers had very cool and very justifiable powerups. Meanwhile, Nero just went "I wanna be strong now" and overpowered both.
I get it that it was in perfectly line with what Dante said to Urizen that isn't about what you've lost, but what you decide to fight for, and the entire franchise has the running theme of human spirit.
I still felt like it was rather cheap.

The game itslef is pretty fucking grand, and mostly kino for me aside this last blemish. The ending itself is great too, just Nero as plot device not.

the idea has potential but it's too half-baked. the concept of filling in traversal time and stuff with vantage points of allied action is really neat. they kinda designed a lot of the campaign progression around having characters overlapping, but it didn't payoff enough with cameo. I would like to see them try the system again, but another campaign that forces a similar scenario for the character would probably be shit.
looking forward to co-op with bloody palace. I'll be disappointed if it's not in after this shit. dante and vergil co-oping through hell would be a sick DLC campaign.

His first phase is pretty ok, dodge the knives, roll the teleport slash, Stinger in, combo, repeat
When he activates his trigger I'm not sure of what to do so I just use Trickster to run around like a madman until it runs out. After it runs out it's like the first phase but harder, so it's manageable
But what am I supposed to do vs the whole "stops time and cuts you in a million pieces" thing? I don't know how to dodge it, I even tried Royal Guarding it but I just got blown to pieces by that. I was so close to beating him, too...

But he has more Red Queen moves then 4. Both that killer bee diving attack and the super armor homing attack are new. Also his combo D got altered slightly to actually look unique. I also felt most mission gave you ample chances to restock on arms too. I think only once did I finish a level armless.

When he does his judgement cut, you can either trickster out or if you have DT, if you're fast enough, you can smack the shit out of him and break him out of it. Even if he finishes, he appears to miss you while in DT but I'm not too sure.
His clone tosses a lot of shit, but it doesn't do parries and the like. When you see a chance, just stinger it and back off to prevent Vergil from punishing you. After 2-3 times, it'll go down.

the source and 'theme' of his power is different from sparda on purpose. it's not about power or desperation or tragedy with nero, but justice and love and shit like that. his personality and motivations are way different from the sparda bros and he's much more human. he's the only fleshed out character. he takes care of orphans, loves the shit out of kyrie and credo, he wants to actively do good, whereas Dante is dead inside and Vergil is selfish, both to extreme and flawed degrees.

my only advice is to think of style moves as including the style input. dont think about what style you're in, just tap the input when you need the move. you can be way more seamless that way and just think about different moves in different situations, which just need a quick extra input before you do them.

I've found like five on my first playtrough. On the first or second Nero mission you find a read markings around a door frame in a building. Pretty fucking distinct. The game tells you to find the place where they look form a picture, and that will unlock the secret mission.
Once you found them, you can play them at any point from the main menu. Which I found great.

Pressing R2 during any Nero attack will jab with the devil bringer. but the timing is BEFORE the exceed timing.

Its a exceed, FOR your exceed. But Devil Bringer is mapped to R2. Map it to L1. Now instead of exceeding with JUST L2. Roll your hand over L1 AND R2. Do the same timing you would do with regular exceeds but just do the roll with your finger.

I'm convinced that once people get used to it this is the meta, it removes all need to use 3 fingers rather than just 2.

DMC is a bit more technical than Bayo, but yes, by all means if you like Bayo and MGR than this is something you would like.
Bayos weapon switch framework is based off of DMCs combat framework so you'll be familiar with it.

the difference in combat is that Bayo has a lot more versatility while the DMC characters tend to have a more set move list that you use to get shit rolling.
