i grabbed the newest humble monthly and tried out Northgard. It's pretty comfy, ended up spending around 3h on it. It's snowing at the moment and I'm sat with a hot chocolate looking for something else to play next. Any recommendations appreciated.

i replayed HL2 and it's episodes and both Portal games from the start of December to the end of February. good shit. shame i don't own HL1.

When I was a kid and I misbehaved, my father used to punish me by pulling his shirt over his head, and tucking his arms in, and holding a pistol through the head hole in his shirt. He would then refuse to do anything that a pistol with legs couldn't do, so for example, instead of cooking dinner that night he would just shoot the cutlery draw with his pistol head, and I would go to bed hungry. Or if I wet the bed, he would shoot the bedsheets with his pistol head. This might sound 'fun' but he was a ing drunk and used to do it to traumatise me. my mother was scared to intervene because apparently he did the same to her and once hit his pistol head into her asscheek and gave her a pretty bad scar. He used to do the pistol man whilst making horrific metalic noises with his mouth which he could do even when drunk.

so, my biggest fear is any of my pistols growing legs and attacking me. My father is dead now but I still have nightmares about his pistol personality.

It's only 10am, so not much but I started the morning with Pokemon Moon, finally got a Thick Club for my Cubone so can carry on with my playthrough.

Doing my workout now, done my bodyweight stuff so just gotta do my 5km jog and then shower and I'm done. After that some Titanfall 2 single player and then I think I'll get back into Odin Sphere.

i've recently started playing a Model Railroading game called Rolling Line and it's pretty comfy and i'm learning how to texture sorta by making new paintjobs for other people's trains while getting rid of the shit i have had since i was a kid that i'd never use so i can make room for a real Model Train layout in my house. i think i might've found my new thing, even if the community is 65% boomers.
