But when I tried to level up normally it was super fucking awkward. I got quests where Garrosh was alive, and then suddenly I got quests form Sylvanas, then Garrosh appeared again to tell Sylvanas what to do, until I got to like, level 46 and got bored.
And then there's the old dungeons and stuff. Does anyone even do any of those anymore?

The dungeon finder exists and it's a rather fast way to level. Especially when playing a healer or a tank.
Also higher level characters do them solo for transmog, mounts, pets, achievements and stuff.

Dungeon finder is a really convenient tool. It finds a group for you, ports you to the dungeon and when done ports you back to where you came from. Also it's cross-server so you can use it even on dead realms.

It's also one of the reasons the community is mostly dead.
