Why does Mario die when he loses to him?
Why does Mario die when he loses to him?
BBC tears his asshole
In his heart, Mario admits that he has lost, sucking his soul out and killing him.
as proven by the sports spinoffs, Mario is a massive drama queen and dies because his ego can't handle it
he's stealing his essence so that he can become a better sprinter
he's an egomaniac. to him, anything but first place is as good as being dead
I'd probably die of shame too if I lost such an easy race
Sounds like Nintendo perfectly captured the Italian persona.
Imma Mario, number 1!
If Imma not Number 1, Imma not Mario
>loses a Mario
OPEN THE GAME
Because Sunshine was a rushed piece of shit and you're all retarded zoomers for singing its praises ad nauseam. While you were all walking around in your diapers the rest of the gaming community HATED this fucking game and thought it was an embarassment.
seething
Shit taste
It's been a real long time but did they put up FLUDD to be the wager for the race? If Mario loses the race then he has to give up FLUDD, and he can't continue his quest otherwise. I could be totally wrong but that sounds familiar to me for some reason.
I hated it at the time. Compared with soulless shit like 3D Land it's pretty great though.
the "gaming community" as you remember it had just barely grown out of kiddy mario games and had moved on to more serious stuff/ PC gaming/ ps2. This is your perception because of your age at the time.
theres no reason to shit on sunshine and praise 64 galaxy or odyssey. They're all good games. 3D marios are just good. I've played them all and sunshine is my favorite, the overworld is much more interactable than peach's castle or rosalina's observatory. Some shines are quite challenging, hover pack allows 3d level design to not have to worrry about player falling due to camera (well if they do they can adjust themselves. Its not for babies, its good design)
ONLY flaws are that blue coins arent fun to collect really and 120 shines nets you NOTHING. disappointment but great game
Every level being resort themed is boring
It's got half the levels of its n64 predecessor
FLUDD removes the long jump and hovering breaks the pace of gameplay
Sunshine is the worst 3D Mario not counting 3D Land
I'm not taking any of this back
His pride from beating koopa the quick carried on to sunshine, so losing to a human (with less capabilities than a koopa) it hurts his pride so hard it kills him
He knew he'd never find out what happens when you beat the running man, and he can't, who can?
When he loses he knows he can never 100% the game without that collectible so he kills himself to have another chance
Dishona famiry
He can kill Mario just by thinking about it. Is Piantissimo the most powerful character in the Mario Universe?
The shame kills him.
what did they mean by this image
The fludd is not fun to control and ruins the game
Because he's not number 1 anymore.
Black characters done right
He’s okinawan, faggots
>Every level being resort themed is boring
It gives the game a consistent theme. It's a good thing.
>It's got half the levels of its n64 predecessor
But they are far larger.
>FLUDD removes the long jump and hovering breaks the pace of gameplay
The long jump is made obselete by both the spin jump and chaining the slide/dive with the soumersalt., as seen here.
Furthermore, while FLUDD does trivalize platforming, sunshine'sa levels reward platforming and are more suited to it and creative pathing then 64's is. Sunshine's worlds all have actual platforming elements and complex geometry spread across them, wheras 64 only has them along linear paths. Bomb omb battlefield and Bianco hills both have a path that go up a spiralling vertical structure, but Bianco hills has a whole village, forest/park, lake, and tightropes connecting these areas outside the main path you can platform between and come up with ways to cross all without ever even touching the ground, wheras bomb-omb has basically nothing outside it's main path
simply because fludd trivalizes the platforming doesn't mean sunshine doesn't have level design better suited to it. Don't use fluud then if you want a challenge orchallenge yourself towards using more effivcient paths throughout each level
see above
>It gives the game a consistent theme. It's a good thing.
you can have a consistent theme without being monotone.
Okinawans are just black nips
Sequel setup that never happened
Depression
It's got its flaws and most of them are the result of the rushed development but I still think it's a good game. Better than 3D World and both Mario Galaxies at least.
Because it's a shitty lazy game with no attention to detail
Ah, yeah. Totally feel like it's just more of the same when our stages are
>Village
>Harbor
>Beach
>Theme Park
>Hotel
>Village 2
And while both being residential areas, it's real hard to act like Bianco Hills and Pianta Village actually feel similar as stages. People don't mix up CCM and TTM in N64 for both being mountains.
zoomers dont even know the gamecube exists
because fuuuuuck nintendo game is bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:((((( but noooooo wait nintendo game gooooood:))))))
!!!
In Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Shadow Mario is a playable character and all his animations are about running around.
It’s not 64-tier but the core mechanics are great and the game is really dedicated to its setting.
wait thats actually just a black dude in a costume
because fat and eat spagetti get heart attack
ate some yesterday myself and shitting blood everywhere
Why am I still browsing this place..
>Bored
>Escapism
>An easy venue to vent your frustrations
Take your pick.
>Every level being resort themed is boring
That's a strength you asswipe. Sunshine has the best world building out of any Mario game because they went to great lengths to make every location fit together. In any given level you can look around and see the rest of the island, to an absurd extent (see pic). It helps the game feel very grounded, like this is a real place that you're visiting. And even though they're all on the same island you still have:
>Green hillside
>Harbor
>Beach
>Theme park
>Haunted hotel
>Ancient ruins bay
>Village
>Volcano
>island has a bottomless pit in the middle
>build a village directly over it when there's plenty of other perfectly good unused land all around
Grounded my ass, that shit is insane.
In ancient times the Piantas had to deal with predators, and no one's gonna fuck with you on top of a giant tree over a giant crater.
Don't forget Noki Bay
