To be fair enhancement shaman did take quite a lot of skill to play in WotLK.

I unironically have spent hours in total just figuring out the name I wanna give my characters, although I usually just go with a reference to a streamer/youtuber I like, or just make one up that sounds appropriate to the race. I always wanted to try naming characters after FE holy weapons, but they´re almost always taken.

No one did. What you're seeing is an absurd amount of overkill in terms of information that is almost meaningless to healers in addition to ability bars loaded with abilities and items the player would not often use.

Well, it´s a LOT cleaner and simpler without addons. I´ve never used addons because I never needed them, although that´s probably because I almost never raided.

use the name of an everyday object and if it's taken just add a z or an s at the end

Just use a character or a joke a youtuber or streamer has made in the past. I had a Draenei Shammy named (Ralph) Bluetawn.

Deadly boss mods is sufficient for everything but mythic raids. You probably don't even need it for normal mode and definitely don't need it for LFR.

Took me forever to just decide if I really wanted to be a mage because my only options were humans and gnomes and my friend was alliance. Humans were too roidy and I already knew gnomes were the meme race before I even logged in the first time. So I went gnome mage, my friend summoned me to goldshire. I ended up wandering into red ridge not knowing what I was doing and got ganked by an undead rogue wearing a defias mask. After that I gradually played around with other classes and went undead rogue too just like the punk who gave me my first death and got my friend to go horde and with me. That story makes me feel old man

I would love to go back, but i'm got too much important stuff to do irl.
