Jedi knight 3

Star Wars: Bartender™
You play as the owner of a bar who gets a startup on any planet/locale of your choosing, save up credits and customize your bar, and occasionally pull out your blaster to put an end to barfights. Sell info to undercover jedi-masters, and also sell info to imperial troops that are searching the area for rebel activity. Your bar comes first. Including cameos from the Holiday Special and can partake in musical numbers. Import MP3s for in-game music.

A 500-vs-500 FPS where players are also accompanied by squads of AI trash mob infantry that are manipulated by a player in the team’s headquarters. The objective is to capture or destroy the opposing team’s headquarters by capturing bases across the map to overtake their territories. The AI commander player can also equip different squads of infantry. Game would take place in the Clone Wars.

Already a better Battlefront than Battlefront.

I'm surprised this hasn't been made yet. I'd play it.

Star Wars Open World RPG game set in the prequels, similar to the Jedi Academy mission series except more RPG elements and set in the prequel era. Your character could start around the same age as Anakin and mirror/interact with him and other Jedi while finally getting fucked up during Order 66. Temple/some of Coruscant could be open world while missions are more linearly based.

So a Star wars FPS muso?

Open world sequel to Bounty Hunter where you play as Boba Fett. You get full access to the Slave 1 and can fly around exploring and dogfighting in space as well as travel between multiple large open world planets for missions.

i still need to finish bounty hunter

I never finished it as a kid myself, that game was absurdly hard.

Why try when you can just past new assets over the latest battlefield.

Super Star Wars; A Phantom Menace
Featuring Mode 7 Podracing and synthesized Duel Of Fates.

Fuck Bethesda.

it's like xcom.

A game about 3PO and R2D2 misadventures
Open world exploration puzzler where you end up on wacky quests in various locales
R2 can hack into vehicles and things, 3PO is largely useless except for color commentary

Empire at War 2

Hire Project Aces to make a Star Wars Ace Combat
Boom. Money printed.

Single player game like Brother in Arms where you're a Clone officer participating in a Massive fucking battles with your squad mates. Options to customize your troopers like Xcom.
Or, change the Officer to Jedi like OP pic.

Sounds almost like Papers, Please or Not Tonight.

I started to think of game but then realized I was just describing No Man's Sky with Star Wars theme and more hubs/structure/player interaction.

Battlefront III or Republic Commando 2

Cyberpunk 2077 except actually cyberpunk and with aliens.

The Rogue Squadron trilogy and X-Wing/TIE Fighter were already vastly superior to Ace Combat.

Fuck yeah

You mean 4? Or you count Academy as an expansion?

An engineering game where you have to make a fourth Deathstar (and various other dooms-day weapons) that doesn't get it's weakness exploited.

a Starsector-type fleet battle game, but instead of heavy reliance on shields you rely on dodging.

You mean
The Old Republic reboot.

> "Everyone form to on rogue lead, nice and tight."
> "Can you hear me? X wing with the red strikes."

That too.

Honestly I just want to have a new, complete, well written kotor trilogy with modern graphics and all the best elements of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games. But that aint ever gonna happen because Bioware is a shell of it's former self and EA is only interested in putting out multiplayer games and overly monetized garbage.

Shame it had to be wasted on such a shit game.

Rogue Squadron but it takes place across all eras. Basically EAFront 2 but with double the team size and capital ship combat

Bounty Hunter II. More Jango Fett up until Episode II, or Boba Fett some time before Episode IV.

A deeper Empire at War sequel would have been great. Borrow some of the better mechanics from picrelated, and you'll get a damn good game.

Attached: 270px-Star_wars_rebellion_box.png (270x353, 162K)

Empire at War deserves a sequel. One that can be easily modded like the first. Didn't Petroglyph say something about wanting to make another Empire at War a while back?

what were some disasters before disney?

The Force Unleashed II was kind of bad.

I can't think of any disasters, even if there were some mediocre games, but the amount of good games were slowing down. Pandemic Studios was lost. Maybe 1313 was gonna save it, but we'll never know.

Not that guy but I thought so too until I played it again a few years ago. It was really easy mostly because health bars on enemies and bosses don’t reset until game over. Also enemies don’t respawn until game over. Fun game though. Something is still satisfying about the movement and concept.

1313

You start deep in debt in a Coruscant cantina. You've been instructed to pass a message along to a certain person. Where do they live? The lowest level of Coruscant, 1313 stories away from the core.
You can get proper paperwork to pass through the checkpoints on the way, and find yourself lacking funds for good weaponry.
You can try and sneak past and risk ending up on the bad side of Galactic Senate.
You can hire bodyguards, shoot your way through, whatever it takes to get to the bottom.

So it turns out there was already a 1313 game. Should've figured since I've played the roblox version

I remember making this pitch years ago
a squad based fps like RepCom but better and longer
You start as a normal 501st CT then as the game progress you get promoted, get a squad, become ARCs, later be Vader's elite squad, turn into the first batch of dark troopers
And as the game progress more and more customization becomes available too
both cosmetics and gear
normal phase1 armor to phase2 to ARCs to dark trooper
different colors, markings, extra gear, visors, skirts, jetpacks, dark trooper augmentations and of course different weapons
same goes with your squad members, and even noseart and upgrades on vehicles
gameplay would be like R6, SWAT or Ghost Recon where you drop in and do your shit however you want

Attached: 1550723505142.jpg (1200x800, 159K)

WARRIORS game or Death Troopers L4D/VT clone

You play as a regular ass dude that got his family killed by rebels because they refused to cooperate with them. The rebels wanted to use your home, food, and use it as a base of operations. Your father told them to fuck off with his gun but the rebels shot him down. You join the empire and start as a trooper. You get involved with other troopers and their lives.

Eventually you become a part of vader's fist. Thr game allows you to have a relationship with Vader and you get to talk to him. By the end of the game you are a super powerful trooper with shields, jetpack, hacking tech, and amazing weapons.

There is a none Canon ending where you relationship with Vader is so strong he ask you to help him take down Palpatine with him. You succeed and it leads the entire story to a different route where Luke joins his father.

The ending will indicate that vader's heart has healed with a good friend and his son at his side and the empire is a better place under his control.

Are Dark Troopers even canon anymore?

>Star Wars

yeah sure

Attached: 1542241844885.jpg (975x1500, 446K)

I had heard that the online multiplayer in the Clone Wars game for Xbox operated like this (minus the 500 vs 500 and fps aspects) but I didn't have Live back then, so maybe it was all bullshit.

Attached: 1551110451437.jpg (975x1500, 498K)

The official Canon still has Vader having a relationship with a trooper.

A "boring life simulator"/open world GTA style game except more along an expanded version of the Tatooine levels of the Phantom Menace game from the PS1 era.

Focus on one city on one planet (preferably a dirt poor, relatively low-tech one) and give us a taste of what it's like to be a nobody Imperial citizen dealing with day to day bullshit in the SW universe. Spend your time hustling smuggled goods, fighting with a Hutt crime syndicate and avoiding being raped by Stormtroopers.

>1313

Star Destroyer Tycoon

You build, manage, and pilot an Imperal battlecruiser. The profile is fully customizable so you can make it look however you like or go for the classic Star Destroyer look. It's a combination city builder, engineering game, and tactical combat sim. If you do well enough, you night even get a visit from Darth Vader himself, but make sure you have the ammenenities to keep him entertained ...

Attached: cDCYEid.jpg (1280x874, 204K)

Clone Wars X-Com would be such a slam dunk.

I’m sold as long as the final level was order 66 at the Jedi temple

there might be an openxcom mod for it

A tactical shooter which takes place during the rise of the First Order. It'd be nice to get some context as to where the fuck they came from seeing as the movies give us nothing.

Remake

Attached: SWFCbox.jpg (410x500, 55K)

And in the end it will be a mobile game like DK, full of cash payment opportunities.

I hate the fact that full price tycoon games are dead...

literally just anything that isnt being developed by EA

Droid operation based

yoda stories 2: electric boogaloo

Katarn is the Jedi we need.

Disney Flanderised the Empire. I mean they've always had the maliciousness, but there's hardly any room for anything else, now.
Dark Horse's Empire #16-18 is nice little story for the Imperial army prior to the mouse buyout.

Itos not flanderisation if the movies make them out to be pure evil. All the imperials shown are murdering assholes building a death star to blow up planets, then rebuilding it. It wasn't until novels came out in the EU, and some comics, that the Empire actually had a justification for Luke's initial reason for joining it despite no evidence being given that it was anything other than comically evil. Thing is, any time they went back to the main Imperials, it became comically evil again. Even Vader for all his sympathetic qualities does sheer dickish things for the sake of it constantly.

so, battlefront 2?

The Sith were evil.
Tarkin was evil.
Motti was evil.
And Ozzel was a fool, but none of the navy personnel in ESB stike me as evil. It's not until you get Battlefront 2 where we have the entire military complex unironically going forward with the Nero decree.

All the navy personnel are explicitly involved in genocide

>explicitly
That's a strong word to use, and a lot of charges to bring to bear, even before including all the ex-Imperials in the Alliance.

>a huge-scale space battle game, basically battlefront but only in space
>500 players on each team - most are fighter pilots, the rest operate on capital ships and frigates
>a squad of about 10-20 people solely for piloting the capital ship
>some on the turrets
>others on a comms / reconnaissance system, think the Commander mode from BF4
>can send boarding parties to capture enemy ships
>each player is essentially playing a different game - dogfighting, capital ship defense, reconnaissance or boarding party

Attached: star-destroyer_0.jpg (825x464, 63K)

user they literally try to defend their giant orb of genocidal destruction to the death. It wasn't until the Death Star book came around that they even showed a single person seeming, you know, kind of disturbed by what they were doing. Otherwise everyone is straight faced and loyal. It's just the nature of the movie, the Empire were the bad guys, that was all they had to be. And it was fine, but it makes them kind of hard to give a shit about when they're the focus.

I want a space game like this whether it's Star Wars or not.

Those men didn't build the Death Star, they were stationed there. I don't believe a pilot is accountable for genocide where his own death is the only alternative to not doing his military duty.

Guards stationed at concentration camps were held accountable for genocide

An RPG taking place on Coruscant, where you play as a fugitive Jedi. Explore the planet, find a job, avoid the authorities, potentially join a rebel cell.
It would be an extra challenge to use your powers in such a way that you won't draw attention to yourself.

And there's been similar situations in which such personnel were not, it's a matter of perspective. But let's not invoke Godwin's.

No, again user you are arguing that the people who went "oh shit we have to defend our giant death orb that blew up countless innocent people so it can blow up another planet" are not evil. They're evil. There is no debate against this, none of them even flinch at their duty because the movie didn't really want to have moral ambiguity in the Empire.

I'm not broadstroking the military men for their leader's actions. I'm comfortable with that.

>ctrl+f galactic battleground
>0 hits
Galactic Battleground.

boring

Grievous game where you hunt jedi. You start off as some scrub and slowly become the killing machine he is in the first Clone War cartoon.

>RotS Grievous doesn't get to do much
>TCW Grievous is an incompetent jobber

Make Empire at War 64 bit.

>Empire at War
Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time

Multiplayer shooter where the two teams are rival bands of Jawas that fight each other to capture droids. You have to stun the droids, drag them back to your base, and then salvage any useful tech from it to improve your own equipment all while preventing the other team from doing the same. Picture the Science and Industry mod for Half-Life 1.

Attached: v8tfmq3.jpg (720x720, 97K)

Literally a modern remake of Star Wars X-Wing, but without the Rogue Squadron arcade addons and more of the classic simulator features.

Third person shooter where you play as a collective group of like 15 droids, all being controlled at once by the one central control computer.

Attached: 191730(1).jpg (1920x1080, 495K)

Play as a Jawa hunting robots and scrapping and selling them to people to make big bucks and customize your sandcrawler home and get all the jawa girlies.

>empire at war
I don't know how I feel about this game. The space battles were great, but not enough to balance out the terrible ground battles.

Cheese them in vanilla, play mods for better implementation.

E'tain hand-holding sim
you play as darman

Force Unleashed but FUN

Star Wars the 7th Stand user basically
You create your character and follow the story of the movies
You could have a campaign for all the trilogies (when IX gets released) or just set it in a specific time period. Starting with Clone Wars would be a good point. Integrate the Cartoons too So you could get Ashoka for the Clone Wars part as a rival character
You start with her as Padawans and play through most of the Clone Wars Cartoon and episode 3 before it ends with Order 66. Then you continue to the time between 3 and 4 and if you play your cards right you can take part in the OT. Lots of choice So you can alter the story and get many different outcomes
FOR example
Can Save Anakin and not make him turn to the dark side
Can take his place
Or if you Save him, then someone else could take his place like Ashoka
And that's just one example
Combat either like Jedi Academy or something more akin to Kotor but improved
Would Sell like crazy

A SW hunting game where you have to kill beasts from all the galaxy, preferably on foot.

Sounds like a poorly written fanfiction tee bee aych.

>That story about that clone trooper survivour that idolized Vader at first but then his respect for him gets destroyed when he sees him just murdering helpeless injured rebels too stubborn to surrender
One of my favourite comics about SW desu

Only the highest ranking officials were really evil. Most of them were just officials doing their job of erasing a menace to the Empire. Even a deleted scene showed one of them reluctantly accept Palpatine's order of blowing up Endor if the shield was destroyed as there were troops there

I Just gave the most obvious example for what you could do
IT does sound like one, but when you think about it, that's what people want
There's a reason Xenoverse was a massive success. Because people like to self insert into media They like and alternative stories are always fun

Star: Wars

>Star Wars muso
>clone wars muso
This would be fucking kino, just imaginig customising your own legion and just leading huge squads of clone troopers into battle, i'm honestly surprised a star wars muso hasn't happened yet and speaking of musos im still waiting for a kirby one dammit.

>accountable for genocide

Accountable to whom? The cosmic forces that be? The Rebels had no one to answer to other than the side they were trying to fight against.

Remake
X-Wing
Tie Fighter
X-Wing vs Tie Fighter

Then release a massive version of the battle of Endor.
Force balancing always results in the Imperials having at least a 4-1 numerical advantage, but the majority of their ships are base Tie Fighters and Tie Interceptors, virtually no Advanced, Defenders, or gunboats.
Once the shield on the Death Star goes down its a rush for the Rebels to destroy it and then get out again.

>can I use the force to scratch my butt
>fuck yeah I can

lost

A good starwars game cannot be pitched because the starwars name is irrevocably damaged. Unless disney comes to their senses and declares the new films uncannon and the EU cannon again no game ever will be good again.

And that game's practically perfect (almost).

Play as a Vader who crash lands with a squad of stormtroopers on a planet full of dangerous and hostile alien life. You have to work your way through rebel outposts and rough terrain to get to a ship to get off the planet.

It's Vader, he's literally just kill everything, and then the Stormtroopers for being incompetent enough to crash his shuttle

Star Wars: ARC survival Evolved

You're an ARC trooper stranded on an unknown outer rim planet after a massive space battle. Your escape pod crashed down with hundreds of other pods and you have to survive against the horrors that wait on the planet, while rescuing clones in distress searching the wreckage of your ship and older ones, and recovering resources for you to use.
Survival horror, action packed, guaranteed to make you cum (or your money back).

Saw pic related and looked like fun. Link because ip file blocked static1.squarespace.com/static/51b3dc8ee4b051b96ceb10de/58618ea8e3df282ca4ecf99c/58618eaaf7e0ab0e6add4eb7/1482788526851/Guillem-H-Pongiluppi-star-wars-vs-aliens-3.jpg?format=1500w

yeah not one of those stormtroopers would be getting out alive, but then that could make for an interesting game, you have to be vader and instill fear in those under your command to get things done and get off the planet.

>you have to be vader and instill fear in those under your command

It's Vader. He does that by being there.

Darth Maul

;__;

I think it'd be cool with any sith lord or apprentice really or even swapped to play rebel side as a Jedi

Force Unleashed 2's entire issue was it was rushed through development and launched when not completed. Had it the same amount of time that the first game did, it would've been fine and the biggest disaster is we never got a wrap up to the series with Force Unleashed 3, so we just have 2's ending with a cliffhanger.

Action-Adventure Star Wars game on Coruscant where you play as Asajj Ventress when she was a Bounty Hunter

Similar style to classic Bounty Hunter, you've got your lightsabers, force abilities and Bounty Hunting Tools

Also have it retcon Dark Disciple as the book is S H I T

Attached: 20190116_134750.jpg (423x1041, 393K)

Yes. Dark Troopers and Purge Troopers show up in new Star Wars media under Disney like mobile games and it was confirmed those "count" as canon but even ignoring that you have Purge Troopers in Star Wars Rebels.

Another solid proof that people bashing Cyberpunk 2077 for not being cyberpunk dont know what the fuck they are talking about.

Cringe. I love Kyle as much as the next guy but this kind of shit is reddit tier cancerous.

yeah but he'd still have to do something, like choke some key people under his command, play officers against one another, manipulate, it could be like squad based trust game except with fear instead, where you have to keep certain key officers alive to do certain things etc.

So Angels Fall First but Star Wars?

Grand Theft Auto but it's the Coruscant Underground. Aliens mad the Empire is keeping them down, But hey at least it's better than the I guess Maul shows up cause being a Crime Boss is his thing now.

WHERE ARE THE TWI'LEK STRIPPERS DISNEY

Remake/remastering and updating graphically:

1. Republic Commandos
2. Tie-Fighter
3. X-Wing
4. X-Wing vs Tie-Fighter + Balance of Power
5. X-Wing: Alliance
6. Shadows of the Empire

Then have sequels like Tie-Fighter: Empire, The Force Unleashed 3, and maybe a hack/slasher/beat em' up style game done in the vein of Metal Gear Rising with a Jedi or Sith protagonist by Platinum. Also uncanceling Star Wars 1313 and Darth Maul.

And a sequel to Empire at War. And while we're at it with being super optimistic, remove EA and Dice from ever making or producing Star Wars games again.

>Dark Forces 5: Jedi Knight: Peeved Katarn
>game consists of Katarn learning his existence due to the EU is no longer canon, reaches through dimensions to bitchslap Kathleen Kennedy then deleting the new movies from existence
>final fight is vs. Rey and Kylo trying to keep their existence
>when defeated Luke comes to from meditation and tells Kyle about the really stupid shit the force had just shown him

Gaijin Entertainment is making Enlisted, players control squads of AI, but in real time with them on the battlefield. Something like that would be good for star wars

Anyone here hoping the new Conquest """"""""""""""inspired""""""""""""" mode in SWBF2 (EA) will be worth it?

Cause probably gonna drop the game if it sucks, Galactic assault is all anyone plays on PC and its the same shit every time cause its more railroaded than fucking Rush in Battlefield

Helldivers just with clone troopers

good grief, what is that character model?

Just give me a modest looter-shooter set in the Ancient Republic.

You know, Destiny.

Current Nu Front 2 is 10,000 times better than it was at launch. They nerfed Anakin's Heroic Might ability but he's still over-powered most times unless you string combos on him as Dooku with his Duelist mode on or as Vader or Grievous just lumberjacking on him. The fuck ton of new and updated Clone armor skins look great, armored officers now too, and Conquest mode is gonna be legit.

Still the lack of balanced matchmaking absolutely sucks ass and certain heroes/villains need buffs, like Boba whose face basically gets melted in few hits because his HP is so low and he has no kind of decent damage reduction.

I am looking forward to it as much as I sound like a shill for EA.

The DLC consists of you playing as Revan who for some reason has been revived, you go on a journey to figure out what is going on, along the way you meet HK-47, HK joins you and the ending of this DLC shows movie sonic the hedgehog invading Star Wars and "upgrading" Chewbacca

>Star Wars Destiny
Gross.

>A 500-vs-500 FPS
I don't really see why you need such a massive playerbase, all it would really do is make a need for those massive maps that are a pain to get around and fuck with optimizations.

Really all EA's battlefront needed was for it to be made by literally any other company that weren't such massive Jews for shekels.

I just don''t care about heroes that much, so the best thing lately is the new clone models yeah, hoping for more customization and maybe some more fucking weapons in the game soon.

The epilouge of the final DLC, (which consists of you playing Luke) show Tommy Lee Jones waking up, its revealed that everything that happened was simply a dream and that there never was a Dark Forces 5: Jedi Knight: Peeved Katarn, Tommy Lee Jones smiles, looks towards the sun and prepares for the day.

That literally wouldn't solve anything

We'll get more heroes but I don't know about new weapons as much as that would be nice. Hoping at some point TCW/Clone Wars Maul when he has proper legs after hooking up with the Deathwatch Mandalorians, Savage Opress, Ventress, Kit Fisto, Windu, Plo Koon, Jango Fett, and Aayla Secura show up at some point. That SAID, they are bringing a new elite trooper class called Inflitrators which has been confirmed is the Commando Droids for the Confederacy, and hopefully that means for the Clones we get Commandos or ARC Troopers.

ARC troopers would be fucking nice

Attached: Arctroops.jpg (640x368, 191K)

The episode 3 tie in game was actually amazing and the fighting mode with all the bosses was bad ass.

Why the fuck would you argue for timeline consistency in a fucking Battlefront game? The Originals had maps where you had literally every hero running around murdering each other on Tatooine.

>Jedi I'm ARC

ROTS game was fucking kino.

Retarded post.

>Vader vs. Vader
>Darkside Anakin vs. Lightside Anakin

fun fights

A game where you're a smuggler. You have to take jobs from criminals to smuggle their goods. When you run into Imperials you have to either run, fight, or bribe your way through. You'll also have to deal with rival smugglers and pirates.

Attached: YT-2000_SotG.jpg (502x347, 45K)

>Vader vs himself
Confirmed zoomer who never played original Battlefront games.

I'm fully convinced we are getting Clone Commandos as the new Republic reinforcements, they made the armored officers look ARC troopers and with the new class type being revealed as "infiltrator" then it just makes them even more likely.

The armored officers are supposed to look like the Captains and Commanders. You know, the Republics Officers. Which are designed similarly but pretty different from Advanced Recon Commandos. Which you just agreed is what we're getting.

>all these games where I'm not playing as a jedi
Uh, what's the point of it being a star wars game then?

Yeah, but it will pretty hard to tell ARC Troopers and the officers apart if they did get in, which is why I think we are getting clone commandos, i never agreed to ARC Troopers getting in,

He's a COMPETENT jobber in TCW thank you very much.

>one quirky gamemode out of the rest which had consistency vs having it in your face in all parts of the game

If I want to just have dumb fun, I'll play Hero Assault. But for the most part, it just ruins the game when you see Grievous running around in a battle between Imperials and Rebels.

Sad how simple consistency is now a luxury nowadays.

They're plenty identifiable compared to the other units. Got those giant shoulder pads and helmet scopes.
>I think we are getting clone commandos
That's what ARC Troopers are, mate. Advanced Recon Commandos. They're more recognizable by the Audience than the old Clone Commandos, and are a better parallel to the Droid counterpart. Clone Commandos would likely work better as a Hero Unit.

Action-RPG where you play a Disney-canon version of Cade Skywalker. Set three hundred years after the sequels, you're a gunrunning shitbag smuggler in one of the dozens of mini-empires that have cropped up after the critical mismanagement of the New Republic post-sequels caused something of a metasocietal collapse. Every smaller nation has its own laws and military and fucking hates its neighbors, making trade impossible and only facilitated through smugglers like Cade. When you try to rob a rival smuggler, you accidentally free a prisoner they were transporting: the last Jedi, an alien named K'krukh, from before the first fall of the Jedi Order. He wrangles you into his quest to find a way past the guarded borders of all these shitty pseudo-empires to reach Coruscant, the former center of life in the galaxy before a calamity 300 years ago caused by a woman whose name was lost to history killed every single person on the planet. He believes there is an artifact there that will give him the knowledge he needs to restore the Republic and bring stability back to the galaxy. You gather a crew of misfits and freaks along the way as you're continuously haunted by the ghost of Luke Skywalker, opening your mind to the Force and your destiny as a Jedi while warning you that K'krukh is not what he appears to be.

Warthunder with starfighters.
World of warships or Dreadnought with star destroyers.

Attached: Space battleship Paris.jpg (1847x987, 282K)

Nigga the whole point of the original Games was to create your own battles in the Star Wars universe. Shit like General Grievous fighting Luke Skywalker on Kashyyk is literally the whole point of the game.

troopers and vehicles are fun too

Attached: 1398565165034.jpg (1538x1200, 726K)

>you play a Disney-canon version of Cade Skywalker
You play a non existent character?

>That's what ARC Troopers are, mate. Advanced Recon Commandos
I know...the new reinforcment class is "infritlator" which is why clone commandos would be perfect, not ARC troopers and also the officers already have those shoulder pads and use other pieces of ARC equipment which is why the would be hard to tell apart from them and I'd wager plenty more people would want clone commandos rather than ARC troopers.

They changed it so now spawning as heroes from a different era of the GA map costs more battlepoints

>Obi Wan on Geonosis
>4,500 BP
>Rey on Geonosis
>6,000 BP

Since they have a lot more heroes now than when they started.

Read the fucking post user, in his pitch Rey somehow managed to destroy Coruscant and kill everyone one it. It's a giant fuck you to the sequels by setting it so far after them it shows their accomplishments as colossal failures.

Whatever the new Infiltrator class is I'm just glad there will finally be more reinforcements to play as than Jet trooper since I hate the Wookie class

Attached: 20080324.Fordo.jpg (500x339, 56K)

Are you comparing one deliverate non canon fun mode that was also exported into nufront with the fact that you actually can play as fucking Kylo Ren on battles that happened even before his mother was born?

The clone classes largely aren't visually distinct to begin with and the ARC troopers have 2, larger, sometimes colored pauldrons as opposed to the one and more pouches and typically color.

>I'd wager plenty more people would want clone commandos rather than ARC troopers
And you'd be wrong. Clone Commandos have that one game that is largely forgotten. ARC troopers make numerous appearances and are a major focus in both Gennedy and Filoni cartoon. Again ARCs are a more thematically appropriate parallel to Commando Droids, to the much more rare and deadly Clone Commandos.

>caring about "consistency"
Fuck off retard.

Clone Commandos don't have kama skirts or shoulder pads, ARC Trooper officers do. Commandos have bulkier armor. If both somehow get into it or one or the other, I'd be fine with it.

Yes? They're literally all non canon fun modes. Thats why you can have General Greivous kill Obi Wan Kenobi and win the battle of Utapau, or have Jango Fett kill Yoda on Kashyyk. It's the entire point of the game

This. This for everything mentioned in this post.

>Clone Commandos have that one game that is largely forgotten
Plenty of people still remember that game and even if they don't remember the game, they still remember Delta Squad and Clone Commandos would work far better than the ARCs as infiltrators (which is what the new reinforcement is) not only that but they would generate more hype

Best solution would be ARC trooper like customization for regular troops and clone commando Infiltrator, since apart from the full shoulder pads, and helmet antenna we pretty much have every available ARC equipment in the base game, now they just need to expand on customization of individual troopers.

Attached: 100203-arc-clone-trooper-echo-phase-ii-armor-005.jpg (533x800, 60K)

>Nobody made this as a ROM hack or a fangame
Sad

>Nigga the whole point of the original Games was to create your own battles in the Star Wars universe. Shit like General Grievous fighting Luke Skywalker on Kashyyk is literally the whole point of the game.

No it wasn't. The originals very clearly defined eras and allowed you to pick which one you wanted for a map. There were even maps that you could only use for certain eras (Geonosis for Clone Wars and Hoth for GCW)

You can't defend this shit so stop trying.

>having standards is now a luxury

People like you are insufferable. I bet you're the same type of faggot that thinks having women and minorities with automatics in Battlefield V is cool.

>Plenty of people still remember that game
It's a Yea Forums meme for star wars threads but it's largely an absolutely insignificant title.

I don't know if you're unaware of what the new class is but ARC troopers fill the role of Infiltrator just as much if not more Commandos. Had the Droid counterpart been Magna Guards, you would have had a point, since the thematic rarity and significance of them is more akin to the Commando. But instead we're getting Commando Droids, which were introduced in the Clone Wars cartoon for the whole point of being the counterpart to ARC troopers.

>Clone Commandos have that one game that is largely forgotten

They appeared in TCW

>Multiple clone legions focusing on one clone
>huuuuuuuuuuur Le Battlefront 2 that's only 501st
Retard.

>There were even maps that you could only use for certain eras
And there were maps with inconsistencies and ones where you could have every single character fight each other in a Canteena.

>standards
>Original battlefront had the same cross era battles as the new ones
>somehow this is an issue
Kill yourself.

>I don't know if you're unaware of what the new class
I literally said in my previous posts about the new class being infriltator, clone commandos are the best option possible, you may have had a point if the officers weren't armored.

No, they aren't fun modes in the sense that some degree of canonicity is expected there. You can win as Seps on Naboo and Kashyyk but unless you are using mods you can't even play as them in Hoth or Endor.Same with the GCW factions in Geonosis. And the same with heroes, even those heroes that are canonically dead or not in that planet are from the trilogy of the conflict. The ONLY outliers are Anakin and Obi Wan being playable in Mustafar with Imperials and Rebels going around and that's because it makes more sense than Anakin being with the seps.
If I was able to choose different factions and pit them against each other then they would be mere fun modes.
Also ironically enough, DICE were the ones saying that they were trying to be as accurate as possible when it came to Battlefront, where has that motivation gone now?

In both the original Battlefront 1 and 2 you could have several maps where the game didn't give two flying fucks with multiplayer if you had Prequel era and Original era heroes fighting each other. Shut the fuck up.

>DICE
>historical/lore accuracy

pick1

Yes, once as an Easter egg and later on one appeared as a sidekick too R2D2. Neither of which included Delta Squad. ARC Troopers had several extensive story arcs explaining their development, training, skills, personality, and role in the setting, which matches much better with what the game is than the Clone Commandos do.

>arguing about canonicity for a multiplayer game
Literally end yourself.

>before a calamity 300 years ago caused by a woman whose name was lost to history killed every single person on the planet
Please tell me that's Rey

>there were maps

There was only one map - Mos Eisley Hero Assault. The rest were either Conquest, CTF, Space Assault or Hunt - all of which had consistency.

Are you retarded?

I know, but they were the ones that say that when they started bragging about photometry and all that shit.

>clone commandos are the best option possible
But they aren't. They're not thematically appropriate for the pace or tone of the game, or for being a counterpart to the already confirmed Droid Commando unit, which ARC Troopers already do extensively. The roll of a Clone Commando is different from an ARC Trooper in a way that it doesn't make sense for a Clone Commando to be present in a battlefield scenario. It makes total sense for an ARC Trooper to join the front line but also play a roll in infiltrating enemy lines, because while elites and specially trained they are at the end of the day clones who just perform better, just like how Commando Droids are specially programmed and equipped, at the end of the day they're just Battle Droids who perform better.

>you may have had a point if the officers weren't armored.
This is literally irrelevant though.

This is literally exactly what I was thinking when I clicked on this thread

No one cares about canoncity in multiplayer Star Wars games you ass-clown.

Star Wars Conquest mod for Mount & Blade is pretty close to that.

Clone commandos have fought on the battlefield before and this game literally lets vader and anakin fight one another, "canon" means shit.

ARC cucks need not apply, where are my commando chads at?

Turn based RPG about the innocent and quaint adventures of a young padawan. Shit gets real when his master gets killed by a Sith, leaving him stranded in an unknown planet. Some other locals join his party as he's constantly hunted by the Sith.

>Arguing about how it makes more sense or less to have ARC troopers over commandos when in the end DICE will just put ARC troopers because they are too lazy to make clone commandos, call the ARCs commandos and call it a day
Even if it makes more sense to have ARC troopers over commandos it would be a shitty move to not have them
>ARC cucks
Listen m8, I love both commandos and ARCs but you better take that shit back.

Better than it was last year at this point, new Conquest mode coming soon

Star Wars Freelancer / Elite / X-Universe style space trading game. Complex ship mechanics, customisation and flight, robust ground combat and exploration, visit worlds, explore the Outer Rim, interact with different factions, maybe start your own trading / smuggling / mercenary / piracy operation. All steeped in Star Wars lore, but non-linear story.

I just hope they give Infiltrator this badass helmet to distinguish them better from normal troops, looks perfect for an Infiltrator helmet too

I'm thinking ARC troopers are the new Infiltrators but Dice would definitely be idiotic not to include Commandos eventually, but I'm thinking of them more as a pseudo Hero Unit, with the Droid counterpart being MagnaGuards because neither gets enough attention called to how bad ass they should be.

Rainbow Six Siege but Star Wars. And no Galactic Republic vs CIS or Galactic Empire vs Rebel Alliance shit either. Do bounty hunters or mercenaries as defenders vs Galactic Empire or Rebel Alliance as attackers

Commandos and ARCs should be bros not foes, this petty rivalry you are trying to push is a falseflag operation that only benefits (((them)))

Attached: CIS.jpg (241x209, 8K)

Clone Commandos make more sense as a Hero unit, they could probably take on Jedi decently like Iden Versio, Phasma, Han, etc.. compared to ARC trooper more suited for combat against standard troopers and SBD's

Attached: 1544842201_readytogo.jpg (1920x1080, 455K)

Depends if the new Conquest mode is good, if it revives the game, cause right now on PC everyone pretty much only plays GA and HvV, the other modes are fucking ded

this but 2

ARC Troopers lore wise are literally a shade under being blatantly superhuman without force powers and are on a level that Commandos aren't.

dfc jedi lolis

Hero unit that effects the entire Squad instead of an individual would be cool.

something liek planesite 2?

>people thinking arcs are weaker than commandos

Their name literally means "ADVANCED Recon Commando." What makes you think they're weaker than regular Clone Commandos?

That's older Legend stuff, and even that only Applied to Null and Alpha ARCs. New Stuff have ARCs as just regular, accelerated growth, clone troopers who excelled in combat and were promoted to the role. Commandos are definitely above them genetically and to the degree of training they receive.

They're advanced RECON commandos not advanced COMMANDOS

FUCK

Attached: ARCTrooper1-SOTF.jpg (470x625, 123K)

Well in the new canon at the end of the day they're just regular clones, who just performed very well and were given additional training to diversify their skills. Clone Commandos, like Bob Fett, were not given accelerated Growth, unlike Fett, were somewhat genetically modified to increase their performance, and are trained much more extensively and for much longer in their desired roles.

While ARCs aren't to be underestimated, Commandos are literal super soldiers.

Commandos also aren't skirt wearing lady boys so that's a plus.

Why isnt there a Captain Rex hero yet?

I dont give a shit about these Jedi and Sith heros, give me a fucking blaster hero badass like Rex.

Hes probably the easiest hero to add in since hes just a recolored clone.

So it's a game about ragtag team

Here's an idea: get the license back from EA because any good idea will be tainted just by being developed within EA. Then you gonna allow developers to make games based on their pitch. For example EA will pitch Battlefront 3, Bethesda will pitch an FPS like DOOM but in star wars setting and so on

Star Wars 1313 or anything taking place on Coruscant. A more cyberpunk take on Star Wars if you will.
Or Star Wars: Scavenger, basically the beginning of the second chapter from Republic Commando as a game

Yes.

All I want is for it to be offline with bots. I'm sick of all the cheaters and exploiters and tryhard assholes hogging the heroes every match online. I just want to be the heroes whenever I want in a fun, chaotic mode without other people ruining my fun.

Then play arcade? Just don't expect GA on it, maybe conquest will be though, they didn't say.

>No TIE Defender or B-Wing
>No focus on Starfighter combat

Nope. Even in the new canon, its still stated ARCs are the closest ability and personality wise to Jango, while Commandos come next, then Clone Commanders, then regular Clone Troopers.

>article: why don't incels like online multiplayer?

or a hack n' slash game where you play as an Akk Guard

Mouseverse trashed the TIE Defender project before ANH.

This makes me want an Imperial Academy tactics game where you start off as a cadet training to be an Officer in the first half, developing relationships with the other soon to be Officers, who will then provide possible benefits or flaws on each subsequent level of the second half. You were nice to that fucking nerd in mathematics? He becomes the chief supply officer of the sector and your men are much better equipped and fed. You shut up that one snooty bitch spreading rumors about your Father's loyalty? Well Vice Admiral bitch tits regrets to inform you the Imperial Navy will not be able to assist you with a bombing run at this time. You made fun of that weirdo fucking Blue faced, Red Eyed, Chiss kid who had no business in the Academy? OH GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE.

Your teachers were abusive, all your Academy friends are kind of assholes, your Academy rivals are MASSIVE assholes, and you gotta do some messed up shit to people who don't deserve it in order to keep your men alive long enough to do their job, but hey, The Emperor Wills it So.

>Even in the new canon, its still stated ARCs are the closest ability and personality wise to Jango
Where?

Even if it's true Clone Commandos and Commanders are IMPROVED on Jango Fetts genetics and trained since birth to do their job, so even if the ARCs are more like Jango, that sure as fuck doesn't make them better. Commander Cody could probably kick Jango Fetts ass.

Not even remotely the same thing. Arcade mode sucks, I want the main large scale modes with bots like every other Battlefront had.

Yeah hopefully with the new Conquest mode thats coming next month

That's absolutely not true. Stop spouting bullshit. None of the clones take after Jango's personality besides Boba.

It's a better political structure than some in real life

>Every other comapny makes original games with original stories and concepts into the SW universe
>EA just remakes BF1 and 2 to a point where you have to google BF2 2005 to get the old version to pop up

It's coming on the 26th of this month actually, they released the community calendar yesterday and will be revealing all the details on it this coming week.

They did before but that Disney Infinity game with all the amiibo type toys bankrupted their internal studios. They have no interest in dumping money into starting that again.

They got already operating Lucasarts, instead of starting from there they just burned it all and sold a license to a company that's so incompetent it managed to release only two games with all it's money and resources. It's a trainwreck.
At least sell the rights to other IPs then, i want Ron Gilbert to make another Monkey Island

>Clone Commandos are IMPROVED on Jango Fetts genetics
No they aren't.

That sounds fucking great. There could be multiple endings depending on those choices, which can make the game longer or shorter. In one ending you defect to the rebellion, in another you try, but the rebellion tells you to fuck off because you were a dick or not dick enough, in another one you have a career all the way through the OT, in anither one you're betrayed, maybe you get accused of being a rebel spy halfway through, etc.

Reminds me a little of the Ender's Game books.

Rogue One was alright

>That's older Legend stuff
So the only stuff that matters?
>only Applied to Null and Alpha ARCs
So basically all ARC troopers?

I wish i could see Director's cut because i'm almost sure Disney actually fucked everything up to make it more "safe" by inviting Tony Gilroy and reshooting half of the movie and then pretending that they actually fixed the movie instead

lol, for me Boba is the most op character, whenever I'm villain and am about to lose, I just switch to Boba and usually turn the tides and win.

>Gaijin Entertainment

There was Star Conflict. We don't go there anymore.

Jango Fett could kill any clone, they don't have the same kind of skills and equipment as he had. Hell, kid Boba kicked the shit out of multiple kid clone troopers. They don't fight fair which the clones are conditioned to.

>TR LA fairydusting tankshitters

The Emperor baited Vader into killing him. Read the comic. He said that he had the potential to replace Vader. He knew what Vader would do.

How? His anti-hero rockets aren't strong enough anymore, his blaster can't hit shit at range or while flying and does less damage at range, and the concussion rocket does fuck all.

These would be great if only putting in a single hero wasn't about a 3-4Gb patch, while the game already needs almost 100Gb free space...

total wars in the old republic era with all factions, jedi knights would play as legendary lords from total war warhammer.

>Boss's chad stride

Yes they are, it's literally in the first paragraph of the Wookiepedia Canons section. Do you literally know anything about the lore or are you just going to say the opposite of everything you're told?

Any standard clone, sure, but Commandos and Commanders are essentially Super Soldiers. Yes, of course Boba Fett could beat up those clone kids, they were accelerated growth and he wasn't. He was also personally trained by Jango Fett and later Aura Sing where as those kids had only just started their battle simulations. Boba is essentially a fully grown clone experience wise at that point at minimum and even he almost got taken down by a fully grown standard clone he got the drop on because he's not physically modified in any way.

>They don't fight fair which the clones are conditioned to.
Lol fucking what? When have clones ever fought fair? That's fucking retarded.

Imo the rockets deal quite a damage, and hitting head with the burst does a lot too.
>the concussion rocket does fuck all.
Yeah, I barely use that shit tho.

Yeah. You can tell what they changed by doing some digging, though. As far as I can tell, they reshot everything with Forest Whitaker, some scenes of Darth Vader (which could be just test footage), those awful lines from Jyn at Yavin, a large portion of Wobani, and an even larger chunk of the Scarif battle. This was probably the most heavily modified scene of the movie, and I would've loved to see RO transporting the Death Star plans through land.

I'm ok with the end result, though, and the reshoots included the Darth Vader scene, which I thought was good. Without it, having Darth Vader as just a cameo would have felt like that one Maul scene at the end of Solo.

If they add more heroes, and this a big if at this point since there's a good chance the game ends active development by mid-summer, they will be Mace Windu, Jango Fett, Ahsoka, Ventress, Padme, and Cad Bane. None of the other prequel Jedi Masters will ever be added. And that would be it. If anything, I think Mace and Jango are a guarantee but would be the last two. If they don't end development for this game by summer to shift over to a sequel, then the latter half of the year would be entirely focused on Episode IX and sequel trilogy content to close it out. Either way, I don't think they have much content coming after this month.

Add Old Republic content

Attached: Bastila BF2.png (1920x1080, 3.46M)

We're getting Ahsoka, Ventress, Padme and someone else (counterpart to padme, Jango maybe?) At LEAST as we know they are in development

They said there will be continued updates for the game throughout the year

Star Wars: Planetside 1.

There is absolutely no genetic difference between any of the clones regardless of rank or job. The commandos and officers are not super soldiers, they just got picked for different training based on performance in tests and simulations. You keep spewing bullshit that isn't canon and not supported by any canon source.

Did you just pitch Star Wars Galaxies as a singleplayer rpg?

Making a sequel instead of just adding to 2 makes no sense.

Nothing they do will ever get people to stop making loot box jokes even though they were removed before launch, people will shit on a sequel no matter how much good will they extend.

Because of the reshoots we got hug on the beach scene which made literally no sence
1.Jyn and Diego Luna had no chemistry whatsoever throughout the movie
2.Because of the reshoots editing was probably rushed because at the end of the scene Diego Luna starts looking somewhere else like someone already yelled "cut" and it looked cheap and bad

Attached: wot.png (1482x1080, 884K)

Elite Dangerous.
But its Star Wars.

>There is absolutely no genetic difference between any of the clones regardless of rank or job
There explicitly is. Commandos and Commanders are modified. For Example Command Squad 99 "Bad Batch" were allowed to so extensively mutate that they stopped largely resembling Jango Fett altogether. In the intro of Republic Commandos your Kaminoan Tutor explicitly states "It is your inherent physical traits that will carry to victory. In this regard you will be superior to your more common brethren"

Star wars Inquisitor. Play as a clone of a Jedi (custom creator) who is an Inquisitor and Hunter of surviving jedi. It's an RPG game where depending on how you play you can ride through and become a leader of the Inquisition, you go rouge and end up as a bounty hunter, rescue other cloans before their programming and save them starting a secret Jedi order or something similar to that and other endings etc. I'm thinking more like a knights of the old republic style rpg with action closer to outcast. But that's just my idea I don't know

Starting from scratch with a sequel makes a lot more sense than supporting a dead game that has so many limitations. There's no way they add any of the stuff people really want to it because the framework of the game can't support much more. They need to go back to the drawing board and try again. This time with vehicles on the map to enter like classic Battlefield used to do. This time with Galactic Conquest mode and bot skirmishes right off the bat. This time with heroes being randomly given to players in a match so faggots can't hog them. This time with droidekas. This time with space battles where you can fly to the enemy ship and board it. Absolutely none of that can ever be added to this game because it wasn't made with those features in mind to begin with.

I'm excited but wary

Is it all just gonna be 1 map? It can't be cause we have 3 eras. I really hope its gonna be good, I'm so fucking SICK of Galactic assault, worse than Rush mode in Battlefield 4

Republic Commando isn't canon. I rest my case. None of the clones are modified from each other at all and that is the official canon. End of.

>Jyn and Diego Luna had no chemistry whatsoever throughout the movie
Yep. Gareth Edwards in general has this huge problem where he can't make human characters that click together. The closest he got was in Godzilla with Bryan Cranston, but he fucking killed him halfway through for no reason.

Hadn't noticed that moment in the hug, that's hilarious

>different Clones from seperate Legions
Why though? Just focus on one platoon and make it war movie-like expirience. Everyone likes Band of Brothers, right?

suck that Disney dick some more

>Republic Commando isn't canon
It is, with the reintroduction of Delta Squad in the Clone Wars Cartoon. Clone Force 99 is appearing in the final Season of said Cartoon at the end of 2019

That wasn't Disney, that was Lucas. You do realize he personally de-canonized the Republic Commando game and books while making TCW, right? He also fired Karen Traviss for her bullshit because he realized she was ruining his vision for the clones with her fanfic cancer. Get fucked.

>If I keep making up bullshit maybe someone will be dumb enough to believe me.

No. It absolutely is NOT canon. The clone commandos exist in canon, but their game and books do not. Pretty fucking simple to understand.

Your underage is showing. That really did happen. She threw a bitchfit about it back in the day.

Republic Commando is canon thanks to The Clone Wars series

See

A genocide that didn't happen :^)

Rebel Galaxy but with Star Wars capital ships instead

Why does Star Wars attract autists like this? Here I thought Sonic was the only heavy autism magnet. And then mouse cocksuckers come in.

XCOM but with clones/droids/imperial troopers. Who am I kidding, it would be rebels even though all other three would make a much more interesting game.

>Wookiepedia
Not relevant.

Are they actually siblings? Do they bang? I may need to read this.

No, they aren't related at all.

You literally have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.

Knights of The New Republic. Where Luke Skywalker successfully remade the Jedi Order into something that would avoid the pitfalls of the old order and the ancient Jedi.

It starts before the Vong invasion and you are a freshly baked Jedi Knight. Unlike KoTOR, KoTNR would give you the option to create you character from all races available, not just humans.

Also you can use a blaster in one hand and a lightsaber in the other hand and you can recruit a really varied cast of characters (one even is a Shadow Trooper that survived Kyle's rampage in Jedi Outcast and actually has respect for the latter).

Oh, and Jaden and Rosh are in it. Only this time Rosh stopped being Dark Forces's/Jedi Knight's Scrappy Doo and is legitimately badass. Jaden is a Kel'Dor and it's mentioned at one point that he defeated Magna Ragnos's ghost. Also the Vong aren't as OP as they were shown in the old EU.

Yes. And I'm bummed they didn't manage to do it before Disney got its grubby hands on the franchise. And the ending of Forces of Corruption was an interesting cliffhanger ending.

Also pity nobody expanded on Tyber Zahn.

Yeah. Also pity that with retconning the old EU, they retconned Grievous's tragic and badass backstory.

The Emperor is dead, and the galaxy in disarray.
As a officer in the Empire you will seize this opportunity to carve out your own kingdom as one of many warlords. Compete with your rivals, overcome the challenges laid before you, and survive the chaos that is to come. Rule with fear or discipline, strength or guile, the choice is yours. And with time, they shall know you as emperor.

A Star Wars RTS with both space and land battles. With a focus on customization and player choice to shape your faction and build a unique identity on the battlefield. Multiplayer will be a battleground between players as their personal warlords, competing for control over the outer rim.

New bounty hunter game except this time with boba.

Anyone else cautiously excited for the RPG resplendent Star Wars game? Or whatever it is? Didn’t respawn do titanfall 2? That campaign was pretty fun.

>EA title
>Disney Wars as a setting

Nope, it'll be shit.

Jedi: Fallen Order. Comes out this fall. Not sure what to expect from it, but it isn't a shooter at least. Also Titanfall is garbage, just a generic COD clone, and gives me the opposite of high hopes for this.

Nah it sounds like you didn’t actually play the Titan 2 campaign it actually had a surprisingly solid story but you wouldn’t know.

like a Thrawn simulator?

Basically any of the warlords, you could be like Thrawn and be a Empire purist with a pragmatic bent, or you could fill your forces with mercenaries and pirates and go for quick raids against weaker targets

Yeah it was tough
I think I used the immortality cheat for a few levels
Awesome game though. Even a rerelease would be nice.

I didn't see them hugging because of a connection, just as two humans about to be turned into ash who accomplished a mission together.

>no new media about the fractured Empire fighting
why? the Empire has great aesthetics and fucking cool ass concepts, why not an Imperial civil war line?

I really don't want to tell how long it took for me to notice that the zombies in the first mission in the last chapter spawn infinitely, and that I had to push on without blasting them from up top

This, but call it Dark Forces 4. Rely more on blasters weapons than lightsabers.
