There is no tradition, that was because the only user willing to host since everyone else got bored and quit playing after it turned to shit was able to host around that time. Ace of Spades was a flavor of the month back when Yea Forums still had them. Ace of Spades, Sub Rosa, King Arthur's Gold, etc

Like these guys pointed out though, AoS has a history with Yea Forums in general. I remember when it was first posted and adding the creator on Facebook.
I was never happy with how the direction of the game went, especially after selling it.
The jagex version is a total abortion although I will admit I had a good time playing on their "classic" map servers. what could have been.
When you host a .75 server does it put it on some server list or something? Why are people speaking spanish?

I agree, but the goal for tonight is to test the home server I setup for dedicated hosting. The PC is pretty old, running WHS 2011 on 4 GB of DD2 RAM.
Using .75 I could get the most amount of people to connect, it also seemed to have the most documentation for me to read and figure out to setup.

I think it does, you can apply the install file to the settings and I'll launch using that version. Just the host they provide seems to only support .75 & .76

yeah, that's what I'm feeling too. I appreciate everyone who joined the .75 server and pointed me where to go with the server.
Since this is suppose to be a dedicate server, I will leave it running for the night/day. I'm going to sleep but feel free to play on.
