It's a stupid list to pander to normalfaggots and nostalgiafags.
If I were in charge I'd put The Sword level from Thief 1 or the meeting with Morpheus in the original Deus Ex.
The greatest gaming moment was when I instigated a casino shootout in Fallout 2 after killing a guy and fucking both his wife and daughter.
This list better include the satalite tennis from bayonetta.
I love videogames, but hate celebrations of videogame culture. Most of them are outdated before they are even published.
If this isnt the greatest moment you can just leave

No because Dark Souls has horrible bosses
The remakes adding snow made it 100 times more kino
No, not even close. The biggest problem with Dark Souls not actually showing any of its lore in gameplay means that moments like those feel the same as any other moment. Ornstein and Smough had no more impact than the double gargoyle fight. They were both just meaningless fun unless you decided to spend the twenty hours deciphering the "lore" that they decided to actively hide from you for some reason.

What game is this?
>halo 3 warthog run not in top 10
Halo 3 is shit, not surprising it's not on the list
End of Half Life 2 Episode 2
>Thief and Deus Ex
While they're both old as fuck those 2 games are perfect examples of why lists like this are complete shit. To take Thief as the example, everyone has a different experience with that level - and every other level, due to the often non-linear level design and emergent AI. My favourite moments I've ever had playing a game come from Thief 1 and 2 but they're my moments:
>The time I fucked up the stealth in Ramirez's mansion and had an elaborate sword fight up the stairs with every guard in the building (and won)
>The time I lured a slow conga line of zombies up the stairs and into Craigscelft prison to provide me with an ample distraction and also to get them to eat the Hammerite guards
>The time I decided to break back into the Sheriff's mansion in order to give his body a proper burial (there was this weird unmarked grave in a secret area outside) leading to me being caught by seemingly every guard in the world and making me leap of the roof with Sheriff Truart's body. And I survived with only one hit point left.
>The multiple times I went through the rooftop sequence at the start of the 'Life of the Party' level. Discovering new routes, rooms, secrets, Easter eggs, conversations and more.
>My daring burglary of the art gallery with me descending from the raters in the roof like Batman and quickly grabbing one or more bits of loot before scrambling back up the rope into the shadows of the rafters, hiding from the guards who knew I was there but just couldn't get to me.
All these experiences are mine and mine alone. It's what's unique about video games compared to movies or books or whatever. Everyone whose played Thief has played the same levels as me but has an almost entirely different experience and memories of it.
In other words the list is shit.
Is Meryl's codec number on that list?
This is a test anons. Don't Google it, what is it? 140.15

Cmon faggots you know the drill.
Why does everyone circlejerk Bioshock so much? Was that plot twist really that surprising?
Yes. It was essentially """deconstructing""" every video game you ever played.
Gough shooting kalameet was pretty sick though
>....YOU KNEW?
How is this not #1?
Most of these took me a while to even remember
That is unforgettable moments, not greatest. My cat dying to an deer stabbing her with it's antlers is unforgettable but not great.
A lot of that is surprisingly solid. But OOT's master sword cutscene is s h i t e and doesn't deserve top 1000, let alone top 1.
Also where is
>Half as long, twice as bright
from infamous 2
>(You) kept praying
from Earthbound
>Belief damned a woman, whose heart clung to the hope that another loved her when he did not. Once, it made a man seek immortality and achieve it. And it has made a posturing spirit think it is something more than a part of me.
from Planescape: Torment
>Kharak is burning
from Homeworld
>SINCE WHEN WERE YOU THE ONE IN CONTROL
from Undertale
> Still seething about Ocarina of Time
Kill yourself Autist
no u
What about the other 85
cope
>That one time in the Bank where I found the ceiling route, and used it as both entrance and exit
It felt so fucking good. I think I basically ghosted that level, too. No amount of cutscenes will live up to the power fantasy figuring shit out by yourself can accomplish.
