SO4 wasn't that bad, it just had shit characters. The gameplay was on par, maybe slightly worse than 3, the story was on par with the other SO games.

I don't know why but I keep expecting this to get some weird throwaway late switch port. Maybe that's just because I wanted it when it was hyped.

I liked SOIV a lot more than V, at least.

I don't think it's likely. It would have definitely happened by this point if it was going to get one. Best bet is gen 9 seeing it get an HD remaster with some cut content restorations, since international editions don't exist anymore to turn a quick profit in the west.

Literally the only thing I remember about this game was the 4D space gate near the end as a callout to SO3. What a shitty, low effort waste of a game. And now they are just using the same low effort on their mobile game and could care less about the series. Fuck you tri-Ace.
