For some reason, they're all willing to overlook the fact that she kills innocent people whenever she feels like it because she's Xander's retainer and she's apparently good at fighting (which is pointless since she's a shit unit). For a guy who seems to care a lot about his image, Xander sure doesn't seem to care about how her actions may reflect upon him, even though he freaks out at Laslow for his habits.

I haven't played fates but like her in Heroes. She looks and sounds cute and crazy, just how I like 'em. What exactly is wrong with her? There's a major difference between them. Henry worked well because he was both memorable and because he somewhat made sense and had actual depth in his supports. He joins you after appearing from a cloud of crows, is the second dark mage that joins you in the entire game and his overall character stands out from most of the other characters (especially the mages) you got so far. He's a dark mage, and absolutely revels in it, something a lot of players would probably agree with. He's also in a similar situation to Tharja, in the sense that they are both Plegian, dark mages, and a not there mentally, kinda reinforcing the idea that Plegia isn't really the best place to have a childhood, and that dark mages aren't exactly the most stable people.

Peri, on the other hand, is a cavalier in a game where a lot of other good mounted units exist, doesn't really have any similar characters to bounce things off of, just kinda shows up, and doesn't really do much, and has a terrible insufferable, personality

She is the daughter of a rich family and as a little girl she would tell lies about the household servants and maids and have them executed. Most people don't like her because every support is her bragging about murdering people and all her marriage candidates overlook the fact she's a crazy murderer even when it's in direct conflict of their character (especially Xander). Personally I liker her design and using her as a unit but her supports are garbage like every other support in fates.

All of that can be explained with fates' writing being the worst ever. She's far from a bad character otherwise. Also she's not bad as a unit, she's just average.

People don't like crazy chicks and most of her supports are badly written. Basically it's another case of the majority having shit taste.

Literally the majority of the other supports for anyone else has them act civilized and at least confront the flaws of the other person. Peri's on the other hand warps the universe by making almost everyone go out of character.
