Literal perfection

Literal perfection.

Amazing how the greatest video game of all time was made by one autistic Scotsman programming on a scientific calculator.

RCT1 was better
OpenRCT was better

RC3 was okay, but how did they fuck it up afterwords?

2 is literally 1 with more stuff retard

2 didn't have a single redeemable scenario other than extreme heights

No Sawyer anymore

The scenarios in 2 are total garbage in comparison.

I want to play this game, but I suck huge dick at the management aspect, and I don't know what to build when I got infinite money. I enjoyed Sim Tower and Zoo Tycoon though, so I bet if I could get good at the game this game is fun.

RCT2 was much better for scenery and paths and stuff, not to mention how easy it was to obtain the RCT1 scenarios even back in 56kbps internet days.

couldn't you get the scenarios from 1

You can but they're not actually the same scenarios, they're recreations with some imperfections.

Is Planet Coaster worth it?

Hey that’s my name

It still has its flaws though like minor stupid shit like changing entrances and exits to rides require you to retest them or not being able to make patrol routes on individual paths and staves wasting their time in queues. Or more major stuff like guests not being bothered with shuttle loop spam or how the isometric view can easily cuck you out of good views on your creations.

Still a great game though it's just that it still can improve with a superior spiritual successor.

Post dem Tiny Towers

I've been playing some parkitect recently, it's not bad. There are some balance issues but overall does a decent job of capturing the classic rct feel. Scenarios are mostly piss easy but there are a couple that are ok.

RCT1 had better scenarios and progression system.
RCT2 was a better builder.
OpenRCT2 makes both irrelevant since you can have all the scenarios with progression if you want.

I don't necessarily hate how this looks for screenshots.

no

It's a shit tycoon but building stuff and fucking with lighting is fun.

Better sandbox, worse management gameplay.

How playable is it on the switch?

I remember there being an Xbox version of RCT, but I never tried it out to know if it sucked.

The scenarios in the base game were utterly horrible though.

Good sandbox, people who act like management in the originals were good are nostalgia-fags who probably didnt do anything but build rides and kill people. Considering Planet Coaster has way better management features.
The base game is worth it, wait until sale for DLC

Opinions on the Wacky World and Time Twister scenarios? You had a lot of attention to detail like Grand Canyon, Great Wall of China, Asteroid Crater, and etc more than the base game of RCt2.

Money means nothing in Planet Coaster fuck off.

So as in original RCT when you can spam the same ride over and over to get a cheap profit.

time to buy a switch

I don't like the scenery in RCT 2. It's like it was made by a B-team and doesn't match up with the artstyle of RCT1.

>tfw i'll never be able to truly get the hang of coaster building
i just want to create a comfy theme park lads, i always get lazy and use prebuilt coasters though

this game is great. have you tried parkitect yet? good stuff

Nigga what, the buildings are literally based on the Loopy Landscape building terrain.
