Denuvo doesn't affect GPU usage. The only conclusion one can draw is that this change in performance is not related to Denuvo but something else in the test bench.

Cracking normally just passes around denuvo, but in this case a version of the .exe that never had denuvo implemented was leaked, even if you bought a legitmate copy you can use this .exe with the files you downloaded from steam for a DRM free version of the game.

Got any evidence it doesn't? The framerates in general are already super high so clearly the GPU can render the scene with ease. It's not unreasonable to think 15% more GPU usage, as evidenced by the visible GPU usage charts, would equal a 20 FPS increase.

Your hardware has a limited lifespan. The more you push it the quicker it'll die.

I don't see the advantage if Denuvo has an even larger impact on performance than a malware crypto miner. Plus it should be relatively easy to monitor your outgoing traffic to confirm if you are actually infected or not.
