Honestly I kinda dislike how the NRS dev cycle goes, 2 years is barely enough time for a new fighter to develop yet the communities usually die after 3. No reason there shouldn't be two active NRS games at once.

Here we are lucky cause KoF and SamSho are two very different games that can happily live next to each other. And if XV doesn't come out early next year it may even get another shot at EVO. Though honestly there is a real problem around the culture of your game must be in EVO to be alive. It is fun for banter but people shouldn't let it effect what they play so much.

If there's one thing that SNK sure as hell gotta make sure it is good is the soundtrack, there isn't a single SamSho with bad music, even the shittiest entries in the franchise have good music.
