>he picked Iorveth path instead of Roche
LMAOing at your life user
>he picked Iorveth path instead of Roche
LMAOing at your life user
what game?
>Iorveth’s path is better
>his character is insufferable and canon Geralt would never pick him
Damn it
Iorveth's path is way more interesting.
>Get to visit a Dwarf settlement
>Get tons of background on the Saskia plotline
>Get the lesbian sex scene
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings
Iorweth path lets me fuck an elf so I think I have choosen the right side of history
iorveths path is better
I picked Roche because I wanted to fuck that short-haired tomboy slut
In retrospect I regret it because the Iorveth path is much better and more Witcher-like in terms of environment and quests
>Dev cuts your choice out of the game
>Kills characters behind the scenes
>He picked the shitty military camp instead of the comfy dwarf city with dwarf friends
to be fair
Iorveth is a bitch but his path is comfy
meanwhile Roche may be best bro but his path is depressing and rainy
cry harder elf-lover
>tfw you first play tw2 and the entire prologue and first act lead you into thinking Roche is an asshole
>act 2 and 3 ousts him as the biggest bro in vidya history
dont be fooled
he will drop you in a heartbeat for Temeria, because thats what matters
I kinda feel that TW3 had nothing as good as these two. It's the better game overall, but holy shit are Roche and Iorveth great characters. Dosnright criminal that thry weren't properly utilized in TW3
>imagine siding with a bunch of smelly soldiers who dont even have women among them except for a tomboy dyke
iorveth is the biggest bro, fuck rochefrens
>siding with knife ears ever
There's nothing wrong with being the camp's bicycle
It's an important role in times of war
Did both paths but somehow I felt no connection with Roche, his blind patriotism and hot heatedness gets the best of him most times and in TW3 he whores himself out to Nilfgaard, fucking over the entire North for a subjugated Temeria. He prefers short term gratification instead of planning things out for a better outcome later on, he might be a good soldier and a fighter but nothing more.
Iorveth all the way, he's not perfect but no one in the witcher world is except for Anna Henrietta
you did a funny typo there fren
you mean Shani
>knife ear not important enough to get in the third game
>side with a total bro or with a knifeaer
>well thats easy I
>hold on user, a bit more info, if you pick the elf you can
>fuck a succubus
>learn about the dragon
>learn lesbomancy
>have a dwarf city as base of operations instead of a some sandy camp
>bang some hot elf puss
>dont have to go through a dark cave requiring a million cat potions
>bro out with a dwarf
>bang some hot nilfheim pussy in act 3, that even will fight against her collegue just to get some witcher dick
>in TW3 he whores himself out to Nilfgaard, fucking over the entire North for a subjugated Temeria
the north is a shitstinking backwater full of robber barons and retarded peasants and soldiers who rape children. they're all better off subjugated.
he was cut out, they really wanted him in but they said the questline wouldn't fit in with the rest of the game, they wrote a post about it and said he would even team up with roche
>choosing the path that’s worse for everyone
Roche is a bro, why would you fuck him over by taking his path?
I think the writers shoehorned you into roche too conveniently. He lets you go. Believes you when noone else does. Is in some position of relative authority within the landscape you need to go through much more than a guerilla rebel. And at the crucial moment you're not even really expecting to cut ties with Roche because you just give Iorveth a weapon, after what you've been through and seen that he's not that bad of a guy why not give him a sword- completely innocent scenario but shoehorns you to cut bridges with Roche. On my first playthrough I didn't give Iorveth the sword because he seemed very sleazy and unlikeable to me, but to people who kind of liked him but still want to go with Roche this was a bad writing choice.
I want to marry Roche so bad!
Having a soft spot for elves makes more sense for Geralt, they have a respect for him that the humans lack entirely, and they share a status of scorned outsider.
He wanted the sword to kill Roche’s forces, it makes sense that Roche would be pissed.
I didn't really want to side with either of them. Iorveth gave me 0 reason to want to be on his side, and Roche was an asshat who seemed like kind of blinded by loyalty. I know people say he's a bro, but I never saw it. Always seemed like too much of an asshole to care about. Really wish it had a neutral path like the first game.
>they have a respect for him
elves only respect elves. geralt is just a useful idiot to them.
He doesn't say that. IIRC his hands are binded and he asks for a sword to defend himself. If you liked the character even a little, you'd give him a sword and then immediately reload the game when you realize what happened. I guarantee you that's what most players did.
the book tried also a neutral path where Geralt refused any help and wanted to be a self-pitied emo.
thank god Cahir bitchslapped some sense into him
I mean they're being subjugated by crazy motherfuckers who'll kill you for coughing the wrong way. It's trading one shitheap for another shitheap.
What do you think he’s defending himself from, exactly? If a prisoner you were escorting asked for a gunto defend himself (from the guards you were escorting him with) would you be surprised that the warden is pissed because you got his guys killed?
He's a tool to humans, a dog.
To elves he's a fellow outcast, same as dwarves.
not all dorfs are scoia'tael
the majority of them living among humans, just some retarded outcasts join them for some shitty reasons like ISIS in RL
>he didn't play through twice and do both
I wish the options for that choice weren't "Give Iorveth a sword" or "Punch Iorveth"
There should have been a "stay the fuck out of it" option so I can keep being a neutral piece of shit
>playing through that shit game twice
>just some retarded outcasts join them for some shitty reasons like ISIS in RL
The Elder races are dying out by living in human city slums. The Scoia'tael understand that they need to develop their own societies again to regain numbers.
I got that feeling from W2 alone, it felt luke both had some kind of respect for each other, even if they were on the wrong side.
they live in woods and old ruins, they dont know what agriculture is and dying as fast as in human cities
Falling for Nilfgaard propaganda.
>Binded
*bound
witcher 2 is shit
This x10000 Iorveth is more interesting than Roche too.
Implying they should just give in and die quietly out of sight and mind as a race? I mean, that would be pretty boring, from a narrative angle.
LOL Witcher 2 is more remembered than boring breath of the wild salty zelda faggot. Witcher 3 even more so. Witcher 3 game of the decade and going to crush all competition.
i was comparing it to other witcher tittles
witcher one was fantastic for the time, witcher 2 was and still is absolute dogshit
Witcher 3 is okey ish
At least he's not a traitor.
This. I first picked Iorveth and hoped Roche would be just as good in my second playthrough.
Boy was I disappointed!
That's not even true though, and I say that as a Witcher fan who doesn't really want a switch. Breath of the Wild got insane fanfare, in comparison Witcher didn't really get really big fanfare until 3.
I finished the game over 12 times, i picked all paths possible alright?
tw2 has the best story and gameplay but the weakest atmosphere.
>witcher 2 has the best gameplay
you're kidding right? the story is great but the gameplay is the most absolute dogshit tier ive ever played on a videogame, even witcher 1 had better gameplay
Breath of The Wild was largely influenced by The Witcher 3 and Souls games though. It's more or less a mash up of those games but for children.
Nah, 2 had the best combat, even if it was largely just dumbed down Souls combat.
God Roche was a fucking bro, when he showed up in 3 I jumped at the chance to help him out.
Never cared much for Temeria, but I'd follow Roche anywhere.
>everybody at Kaer Morhen invasion was either a roided up mutie freak or a master of magics
>then there's Roche and Vess with their pitfalls
Haha, what the hell
>largely influenced
Such as?
