vita is this but better in every single way

This
Even if it wasnt the second analog stick makes wonders

SNES emulation was never that great

SNES emulation got a lot better in the last ~2 years actually. GBA emulation is still pants.

What do you actually use the second stick for?
I could never find a use for it outside of MHFU where it emulates the D-Pad
The vita doesn't even do PS2 games, which was the first console the second analog stick wasn't retarded on

It was a good add on, I use it for monster Hunter, harvest moon, and metal gear solid but apart from that, I do agree with you

>emulates your favourite childhood games
It can emulate 360 games?

fuck off zoomer

Playstation TV*

FTFY senpai.

The 3DS does the same thing, except it can play GBA and NDS games natively too

PSTV isn't portable. Nearly everything a PSTV can do a Vita can also do.

Except in price, memory cards, availability and ease of hacking

The memory card issue can be solved with an sd2vita.

PS Vita Homebrew is piss easy

It has performance problems with some ps1 games like Vagrant Story.

And now the Switch is this but even better than Vita

It looks worse.

Still have to worry about firmware versions.

I use it for a bunch of PSP games
All of those are non issues today

Yes, but that just adds extra steps. If you're looking to play psx and older systems, psp is still a better choice. You realy have to want to play vita games to spend an 300% increase in price on average for the device
I'll admit it's been a while since I checked, but you used to have a specific firmware version, else you were fucked.
Anyhow, nothing beats the psp hacking in being noobproof. Just copy a file, run it and you're golden

yeah if you want to pay $69.99 for ports of 30 year old games

If you have the extra cash to spend, it's worth it for the superior dpad.

Hacking it is easy if you know what is FTP.

Ape escape is reason enough, legit 10/10
The PSP version butchered the controls to make it work with a single stick

>Switch is better for emulating
>BUT BUYING GAMES COST MONEY
get back on the short bus

the analog stick gimmick in ape escape was always fucking trash

I know what it is, doesn't make it anything less of a pain in contrast to just plugging your console to your pc and copying what you want, like any other multimedia device

embarrassing opinion

whoa this can emulate halo OP?

I do agree with that but it shouldn't be hard now since ps vita discontinued so fw 3.69 could be the last one.iirc they almost done henkaku the 3.69

Not doubting you, mut I'm guessing most people looking for a cheap emu device arent going to spend an extra 150$ for a better dpad

>switch fully hacked
real shit?

Any news for 3.69 - 3.70 hacks yet for vita?

this is all

There actually is a fan made Halo game for psp. I wouldn't recommend it.

still no emunand unless you pay for sx but that should be coming soon
we just got overclocking with profiles, cheat codes for switch games, and in home streaming should be good enough for a lot of games with the next update or two so it's coming along pretty good
still no ds or psp emulation but those should come eventually and people say gamecube emulation will be a thing at some point
