Nude viper vore mods when?
>that SFM Viper blowjob with handholding
Holy fucking shit
what does the assassin smell like
>play that mission where you have to extract the suit
>First sectopod of the campaign strolls into range
>Only one guy on overwatch, takes his shot
>EXECUTED
I think I have never creamed my pants without an erection before that moment.
>Most hated enemy

go!
>sectopod
>priest
>pic related
cba with the rest
>andromedon
>archon
>beating the final mission with one soldier left after retreating and getting the achievement popup letting me know before the kill confirmed
>controlling a gang of Iranian mercenaries
>the inherent disadvantage you face against enemy squad discovery and turn advantage vs when they discover you
I don't have WotC
>most mods now are for it
>Non WOTC Alien Rulers. Miss me with that "Time to fuck up everything in a normal mission" shit
>Andromedons
>Getting a full 6 man squad ambush perfectly, where everyone shoots and hits their target and 7 enemies either dropped dead or were severily wounded.
>Timer system. No Really.
>The last battle. It's just a bullshit parade and I have never done it on ironman. Fuck that shit.
Get it. Really, it adds a lot of new stuff. I would only not recommend it to newcomers as it shoves a LOT of information into your face at the start.
I'm highly certain I'm retarded. I struggled to play EU on Normal, and I struggle to play 22 on Veteran. I think games like these are above my level.
>Sectoid. Mind control is hard to deal with early, and they're the earliest mind controllers.
>Sectopod. It's literally a tank, and this is a war game. Why it's the only tank is beyone me.
>Any Reaper claymore into rocket setup, blowing up a pack without leaving room to error.
>idk, it's fun.
>Moving into a seemingly safe space that I'm pretty sure I have vision on, and pulling 3 enemy packs.
I use a bunch of mods in pairs so that I buff both my team and the bad guys, like stronger enemies overall, but I start with a SPARK, for example.
Get it, you moron. It adds boss fights and 3 classes. It's really fucking good.
>hated
Sectoid

I had a Reaper throw a claymore on the Warlock while he was on top of a house. I blew it up and he fell 3 floors down and died.

Avatar Project.
Had the same thing happen with the archon king kek
THIS
The rulers can be executed? Didn#t know this.
Just wish that video was longer and ended with a cum shot. Still good though.
>lost (boring zombles that offer no interesting gameplay)
>andromedon (aesthetically i like them but fighting them is a pain)

>suddenly a mocx squad, 2 viper bosses with aoe freeze attacks, about 60 fodder vipers that can summon reinforcements, random psychic drops and the fucking warlock
>Sequel turns the worst enemy in the game into the best enemy in the game
>Most hated enemy
MUTONS. They're literally NO FUN ALLOWED - the enemy. Can't kill them in one turn? Enjoy eating a plasma grenade and immediately getting wiped by something else. No high elevation allowed and no melee either because fuck you. Basically THE reason you HAVE to rush Mag weapons.
i miss the little sectoidlets
good cannon fodder
lw1 is still the best rendition of nu com
>Sectoid. Mind control is hard to deal with early, and they're the earliest mind controllers.
Flash flash flash.
Flash hardcucks 80% of the enemies in the game, including ayy rulers. Always bring flash.
Firaxis stop wasting your time on babys first 4x with civ and release xcom 3 already. I want to fight the menace from the oceans.
Is it worth for a first play through? I've played a lot of xcom1 but not got around to 2 yet, idk whether to get WotC yet or nah
>NuXcom
Nah
>Civ 6 has 10/10 music
>XCOM's is garbage
Ok ok, the guy who did the music can come along.
But bring in new artists, I dont want any overly cartoony shit. And while at it, dont bring the guy who designed plasma tier weaponry and top tier powered armor. They look fucking dreadful.
The new tactical legacy soundtrack is 10/10 though
I would really recommend playing the basegame plus maybe the two dlc's first. WOTC adds a ton of variety sure, but it also way more systems you need to learn in total, which I imagine to be a pretty steep learning curve.
I was getting a bit fatigues by all the info boxes I got from WOTC, explaining 20 new things to me.
So, no WOTC for first playthrough imo.
XCOM's music is garbage?
Them is fighting words.
I can't even fathom how someone would come to think this.
>more systems you need to learn in total
It adds zombies you headshot and minibosses you defeat by reading their weakness / strength tooltips. If anything, WotC makes the game easier, because the resistance orders and actions can run the timer indefinitely and get you tons of cool shit. And the Chosen arent THAT tough on lower difficulties, which I assume newcomers would play at.
At what point do you lose XCOM 2 if you keep sabotaging the avatar project?
id say its about a 7/10
the hard techno is a bit much when it constantly loops in the pre and post mission screens especially when youre loading back to base
the strategy layer mix is god tier though
you don't but you don't win either.
This. There's more things to fight, but success in all the new content definitely makes the base game easier too. I almost ran out of time on the avatar project in vanilla before the one mission that gives you like 5 blocks back. But in WOTC, I kept the avatar bar pretty much completely drained, easily.
They aren't that tough even on Legendary if you know how to fight them. Mindshield utterly rapes the Warlock, breaking the Assassin's invisibility makes her useless and not being unlucky works for the Hunter.
>Commander Ironman
>All good, little to no deaths so far.
>Time to kill assassin bitch once and for all
>Pack up 7 of my most lethal soldiers, armed to the teeth and ready to murder some aliens
>Can't destroy the fucking pilar on time
>Eventually overwhelmed. All dead and captured.
>All top guys are fucking dead. Only squasdies and sargeants left.
>Assassin is about to raid my fucking Avenger
Dropped.
>Zombies
>Chosen
>Multiple Systems how the chosen work apart of just annoying you in missions
>Faction units
>Skill point system
>Faction orders
>Undercover Missions
>New Enemies
Add to that XCOM1 to XCOM2 changes
>Timers
>Ambush mechanics
>New mission types
>Blacksites
>Rulers
>Fucking Rulers I swear
>Skill Revamps
Imo it's a bit too much for a first playhtough.
And yes, I do agree with you that WOTC makes the game easier overall.
With the skill system you can just create absolute all purpose monsters as soldiers.
>Legendary Ironman
>Only 3 deaths in the entire game, and 2 were rookies in Gatecrasher
>Assault the Warlock's base and effortlessly win despite accidentally pulling 3 pods AND causing 3 Codecies to split up all in one turn
And it only took me like 50 attempts

My XCOM EW story:
>Assault up front
>Sniper and Support on the side
>2x Heavy Weapons at the back
>Heavies will 1-2 punch side of a building and it's occupants, rest will clean up.
>Heavy 1 fires his rocket, blows apart wall as planned
>Heavy 2 does long animation for rocket fire
>Heavy 2 yells "Shot's gone wide!" while still in the setting up animation.
>Hits Assault in the back, nearly killing him.
>Car he was behind explodes, killing Assault.
>Explosion cause Sniper and Support's cover car to explode, killing them
>Heavy 2 panics.
>Heavy 2 machine guns Heavy 1 with panic fire
>Critical hit.
>Dead.
Whole party, team killed in one turn. What makes it worse is they were named after friends. I think I Alt+F4ed and uninstalled.
Firaxis studios
>Ugh, men are so disgusting, let's put Kristina in the game. I hear she looked like a man! That's so progressive.
Also Firaxis studios
>If that snake doesn't have tits the size of watermelons in the next 10 minutes we're getting another graphics designer
I'll only touch XCOM2 again once there's a nude viper mod.
Or lamia soldiers.
>Archon/Archon King
>Berserker Queen
>HQ assault in LW2 where I landed on the roof and had a sniper team and a shinobi turn the whole facility into a killing field

play xcom ew insteald
>Brainsuckers: X:com apocalypse that can instant-kill then perma-turn any human agent. Starting enemy, comes as fucking AMMO for another starter enemy.
>Thin mints
>First time in Newfoundland. It really is a well-built piece of setting and uses a terrifying enemy at its best: Unceasing and overwhelming.
>It managed to keep replay variety up better than its predecessor in my factual opinion.
>It didn't realise how much people liked enemy within and forgot to salvage the best part of it for the second game.
>Bonus bad time alium: Hyperworms, in turn-based this thing was an absolute menace. It wasn't a tremendous threat if you stunned it, but killing it (easy to do because its often not even clear its been stunned, and nothing STAYS stunned in this game) instantly unleashes four equally dangerous if not as tanky multiworms with a free "turn" upon release to immediately murder any agents or civilians nearby, or failing that: run up three floors and hide in a cupboard dragging the mission on for another half an hour.
i don't think the basegame ever got the memory leak fixes wotc got
>Most hated enemy
no hard ones. in EW i had a visceral hatred of thin mints because of their hella movement, laser accuracy and poison spit, but in 2 i don't feel like there's any enemies that are this frustrating to play against. maybe archons, but that's a stretch
>Most liked enemy
sectopod, because by the time they show up i always have some spec with hostile takeover perk ready and sometimes even with some enemy protocol buffs, so they're ez bullet sponges to utilitize
>Most kino moment for you
a perfect rooftop overwatch trap from concealment
>What you like about XCOM2
i can finally close open doors again. i can finally finetune my moves so my braindead crayoneaters don't run through acid/fire/poison all the time. concealment is a huge plus. weapon/armor research is a basewide upgrade (remember having to micro your 6 sets of carapace + skelli suits before every mission)
>What you dislike about XCOM2
can't have grenades in both utility slots. radio towers cost increases with every tower. dodge grazed! ruler / chosen reactions after EVERY FUCKING MOVE. anarchy's children armor pieces equipped on new troops even though i set the probability to 0. no way to define default recruit dress code. squadsight aim penalty. destroyed turrets aren't cover. demolition is a useless meme-perk without modding for consistency. all lost health points are counted towards injury time instead of respecting the difference between meat and armor.
thank god mod support is so good i can remedy all of these (except the dress code one, but that's the least important one)
lol the lost are so boring i completely forgot about them. maybe there should be separate kill counters for regular enemies and the lost
i just got a mod to remove lost missions, they fucking suck
>Download nearly every Halo mod in existence for WotC
>Kit out people up to Sgt in Marine or Army armour
>The highest performing guys become ODST's or Spartans
>Highest performing females may become Spartans
Takes a fucking age to fully customise them all but it's so worth it.
Firaxis understands furries are the way of the future.
also i hated the avatar boss fights where the game just keeps piling enemies ontop of you EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TURN.
Look, i know the EW final boss fight can be cheesed with 2 squadsight snipers with archangel armor in one turn, but that doesn't justify the atrocity that was pitting 6 people with halfway expended utility against a continuously refreshing horde of mobs ONTOP of having to focus the same enemy 3 times, who teleports somewhere else everytime it takes damage on a map that makes squadsighting near impossible. xcom is just continually cursed with shit boss fights (also see ruler reactions, chosen bs perks: as if randomly dropping a huge pile of hp into random missions wasn't enough of a challenge, now i have to deal with mobs that flatout don't respect the rules that have been established over the last 2 games)
>hated
Archon/Archon King

I'd fuck them

Either overwatching the first 2 rulers in a playthrough and executing each with the first shot. Or when a 4 man reinforcement pod came in and a guardian specialist executed all 4

Still no Lamia soldiers
>not waiting until they jump then running away so they fall on the ground and get stunned
It's like you don't even X-Com bro.
It's true, all they need to do is make Viper squadmates for XCOM 3 and I'll preorder, I swear it.
>thank god mod support is so good i can remedy all of these (except the dress code one, but that's the least important one)
I'm not sure about setting it, but there is a mod out there which defaults all armor to the first option. Can't remember it's name though
>Big tiddy Viper squadmates with the friend system
steamcommunity.com
I believe this is the one
thank you user, you're cool
So lemme get this straight. The Elders want the commander back because he's the best strategist they're ever come across. The same commander which they defeated in XCOM EW/EU before he could even get laser weaponry.
Originally in EW the ayys slowly ramped up their invasion to test the strength of humans. But apparently in 2 it was revealed they had a mole in XCOM and were able to send a end game force in the first couple months right to the base and capture the commander.
Me here who has never played the games and planning on getting xcom two.
Who is the commander?
it's
(You)
(You)
He is just who you play as. You are the commander of XCOM and you oversee operations and missions as you tell all the soldiers what to do.
>Who is the commander?
The player stand-in for all the cutscenes. You never actually "see" the commander because it's always in first person
XCOM 2 has no soul and the enemies are all a step down from EW
I just finished a WOTC campaign after restarting from midgame vanilla
Just used some NieR and Halo mods
>Codex with Stun Lancer on second place
>Archon and Viper
>the final mission where the commander is actually present kicking ass
>soldier customization and fun gameplay
>It's too short
What armor mod is that?
>beagle webms
remember frag85
How is Phoenix Point shaping up?
Will it be as good as XCOM?
never played an xcom game, can I jump straight into 2?
yeah
ok, great
can I capture a snek?
You can, but Enemy Within is honestly the better game for the first playthrough. 2 shines in it's extensive list mods and randomly generated maps that give it a ton of replayability. But both games are still great.
Why aren't you posting them?
Legend ironman is sapping my will to live. It feels like the bullshit got ramped up to max.
I bought the XCOM 2 complete pack in the sale a few weeks back.
Game runs around 40-60 fps, but will randomly drop to 1-10 fps and stay there.
When I quit the game in this state, the last few frames before going to desktop will show a scene from 5 or 6 mins prior.
The game is unplayable like this. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I saw there might be a problem from me having a USB wifi connection when I was trying to fix it.
Mechatronic Warfare+Robots on Covert Missions+Metal Over Flesh=Unstoppable robot soldie that can tank any attack and return with a barrage of hellfire. I like to imagine he’s the conciousnees of one of my fallen squad members reincarnated to kick ass.
Because I have a shitty laptop and run the game on low
Anyone know decent mods that don't break the game?
Any mods that let you recruit a viper?
And a mod that lets you consort with vipers?
None as far as I know; I just have to imagine that on my own time
it has a solid foundation. just a question of whether they'll actually release it now.
legit amazing poster
Not gonba lie I kinda want to fuck the Assassin.
you don't know what you got yourself into
fun fact: this is a vanilla text bit
does anyone have advice for this
Nice, even has skill trees.
No just need a mod to add lewd armors for them.
Check your heat for one. Run afterburner and see what your temps on your GPU look like. It more than likely is not your USB, but I guess if you rule everything else out just go offline.
Thanks man. I enjoy making them quite a bit.
