How do I stop this from crashing constantly? It dies every 10 minutes or so, started happening after the cutscene near the beginning when the blond dude saves you and tells you what's going on. I suspect it started there because I only just got access to the main overworld, but it's unplayable. I've tried to stick with it by saving constantly and just reloading but it's not worth it

It shouldn't crash that often works on my machine™ but some crashes every now and then are unavoidable I think.

Make sure OSAllocators are enabled, not sure if they are by default. Set the correct amount of CPU cores and RAM from the launcher --> settings ---> optimization. Disable onetweak and/or enbboost. Try exclusive fullscreen. Turn down the draw distance sliders to reduce stress on the engine, somewhere halfway should be fine.

My PC is by no means a good one but I crash once maybe every 4 or 5 hours so it's not that bad.

Thanks, I'll double check memory allocation. I'm using a 1070/4690k/16gb RAM so none of my hardware is obscure or under spec. I had the same issue back on the installer version but assumed it'd be fixed in the standalone release since there'd be no conflicts.

Unironically better than Skyrim but if you hated Skyrim to it's core and every mechanic then you won't enjoy this one. It is the same engine/game after all.

Yeh. Especially if you like exploring and characters that actually have dialogue. The set enemy levels, traditional XP system and hand placed loot go a long way to make the gameplay more enjoyable

saving tharael is possible in two ways. One is trying to convince tharael to spare qalian and having enough affection with him. the second is having high rhetorics (>90) and having enough affection with him.

I have but the most RPG's don't have this meta-gaming Telltale affection system.

It's hard to shake that feling at first but once you reach Ark and the story really picks up, you quickly forget that you're just playing a skyrim conversion.

Funny how this game nails the snowy mountain areas when skyrim, which is all about that, doesn't.

Mostly very good. There are a few bad voice-actors but thankfully they are few and far between. All of the main characters are voiced well.

The skyrim engine is easily moddable and changeable. Why do you think bethesda keeps using it since Morrowind?

Lower shadows to medium, distant object details to low and fShadowDistance to 2000 and it shoul run mostly fine.
The first area before Riverville is the worst fps wise.

Anyone else has insanely low fps in this game? Did I mess something up in the settings? I'm getting like 30fps whereas I'm usually maxed out on a heavily modded Skyrim.

The difference is that enderal doesnt insist that your choices matter and that you shape your own story. Life is strange and mass effect failed because they talked about choice and consecuence while lacking the latter in the climax so you feel all your choices were worthless.

Not at all. You can totally go in blind. It's harder than Skyrim for sure but it's by no means a super tryhard hardcore game.

Go elementalist for easy modo. Dump all levels into mana and just blow shit up before it has a chance to ever touch you. You can use Light Magic/Mentalism to raise your max hp and give yourself a shit ton of armor for 6 minutes.
