I played DMC 3 and 4 in the past, but never was that great at it. Though I did manage to outskill cerberus in DMC 3 with trickster, felt rewarding.

The Golliath boss wrecked my shit 3 times. I feel like I cannot cancel out of combos. Also, I cannot seem to do many combos. Like, I have to wait a minute before I can focus on which button combos I gotta rev-up and then execute them. Do I have brain damage?

I mostly get A ranks during fights, never gotten S or anything above in this game.

Just like in DMC5, you can not unlock all different skills, combos or moves in a single playthrough, so you can do different builds and playstyles on different playthroughs.

You can still plainly see From's history of autism attention mech games in the Souls games cause they have pretty damn complex control schemes as if you're piloting a giant robot. The hardest part about souls is learning the control scheme and figuring out where your invisible iframes are, not even the gameplay.

Sekiro plays more like Tenchu but again, even from's character action games have never been better than others'. Tenchu never felt good or fun to play, except the Tenchu Z demo before they fucked up the control scheme for the retail version.

I recall looking at the list of Tenchu games on wikipedia once and one was listed as having been co-developed by From and Acquire, while the others were by Acquire or some other studios.

Still, my point stands. Sekiro is actually Froms first time doing a proper character action game, and it is clearly going to be a massive success, all the footage we have seen has revealed the gameplay is very good and has depth.

Combine that with Froms stellar track record of creating perhaps the best world designs out there, of course it's going to be a success.
