Pyra and Mythra coming back as two individuals really wasn't necessary.
And the drama at the bridge was a weird, because the game makes it seem like they're going to die...but they're blades. As long as their core is intact, the only thing they really have to worry about is memory loss. Considering Pneuma gives Rex her core crystal after he's done being upset, it sort of comes across like she let him freak out for no reason.

That's not what they mean by ending, they mean the post credits scene being retarded. Original ending where it would just flicker and end was much better because then you could say she might come back but she would lose her memories, tying up the themes of the game well

The entire story was awful. I hope this is not the direction the series is going to keep

But XC2 threads can be very comfy

And yeah the ending with Pyra/Mythra coming back after all the drama of the bridge was kind of cheesy, and them having their memories for no reason was ehhh, but it was a happy game overall, you kind of get the impression they just wanted to give him a happy ending and avoid any bittersweetness

Did you miss the point where Blades lose their memory, and they wouldn't know if Aegis are bound or not to this rule, and enven moreso after the Space Station is destroyed, maybe putting the Blade System in jeopardy. The characters had no way to know what would happen. And they acted accordingly.

He just says "It was your bastard fault", he's not actually calling Lora a bastard in the 'illegitimate child' sense. There's nothing implying that in the Japanese version of the line.
