>A shadow is an amalgamation of your true thoughts and desires
>Sae's is a trashy tatted up whore
What did Atlus mean by this?
A shadow is an amalgamation of your true thoughts and desires
she secretly wants to put out for kamoshida
Sae wants to fuck
>>A shadow is an amalgamation of your true thoughts and desires
Wrong
This. It's more of your doubts, and repressed feelings. It's just as "true" as your Persona, and the idea is the actual "True" self, is the combination of the Shadow and Persona.
Read up on your Jung, fgt
I like how you provide a bulletproof argument against his point.
Shadows are repressed shit first and foremost
But yeah she is somewhat of a sexual repressed woman
Almost there,
Its the shadow, the consciousness and the personas
My total time spent with any Persona series is probably less than a few hours total but I'm pretty sure that someone's shadow ISN'T their true self. It's just a potential aspect of them that they have yo acknowledge and face down. That's kind of the whole point, isn't it?
Anyone have that image of the teacher from persona 3 drinking at her computer while the protagonist sits at his?
Yeah I do.
>that they have yo acknowledge and face down.
Ideally yes, not obligatory by any means
Also, the power of "persona" in these series is : "the power to use the selves within you"
Basically yes, a shadow can even be a person's repressed fears instead of something that actually represents their true self, like how one character is afraid of being seen as a flaming homo and another character is afraid of having to lose her femininity just to be taken seriously in a male-dominated career. Sae's shadow is probably the inverse: she's so obsessed with being respected as a professional in her career that her shadow reflects her innate fear of just being seen as a walking set of tits and legs.
That's close, but the one I was thinking of has her swigging like a whole bottle of wine or something. Thanks though.
>tfw starting to feel like mitsuo lately
should i kill myself?
>>A shadow is an amalgamation of your true thoughts and desires
Doubt and your actual state of mind affect it the most. She was a gambling (law-related) woman trying to thrive in a world of men, and I believe before the casino she was being told to just drop the case and find some good cock because she was getting into all the corrupt shit. No shit her cognition would look like that
Same reason why kanji's was acting flamboyant
You might have to. Even Yu with his ultimate friend bullshit couldn't be bothered to try to save him.
are the phantom thieves just?
Fuck off Mishima. Go to back to your janitorial duties
99% Yes
Is brainwashing just if done to evil people?
Shadow is part of your true self. But your shadow should always be guided by logic and reason. Or else it will lash out and destroy everything you’ve ever loved and worked for. To deny your shadow is to deny part of yourself. Without it you are not whole. Your whole self is your light and your shadow. Both are useful. You should utilize both. You can’t eliminate your shadow, only suppress it further and further into the deep recesses of your mind. Eventually you will slip and do something you regret. So it’s OK to have weird, dark, shadowy urges that seem taboo in normal society. The important thing is to express these urges, fantasies and thoughts in a safe and healthy manner where you don’t harm yourself or the collective conscious of other minds in existence. Life is all about exploring, growing, and optimizing after all.
The game explains why it wasn't brainwashing.
No. The PT has no right to do that. They themselves are a part of the society but are still just citizens. They have no right to pass judgement because it's solely based on their own sense of justice.
Despite that they claim it like a catchphrase , Shadows are by definition not the true self.
>DURR THE SHADOW REPRESENTS THE PERSONS TRUE FEELINGS
>KANJI IS GAY
>NAOTO IS TRANS
Sae needs a dicking but she knows she'll never get one.
>Implying she isnt getting dicked by Akechi on their off time
I don't think Saefag is doing that route until the current one is over.
Does the real Sae have tattoos like her shadow?
Nah, they're symbolic.
Sae-user here
I think I'm scrapping that idea. No one really seemed into it. I actually wrote the part 3 version that goes down the Goro route, but no one really seemed interested so I never posted it
i want it i need it
Also, my plans for a 6 o clock posting of part 6 may be going awry, as I'll be out to eat with my family at that time. I will be sure to keep you all updated.
>Still no English translation for that doujin
GOD
DAMNIT
I would be down for it Sae-user
:3
Nah, all that drive for me to make it disspeared. The story was always pointing towards the Akira direction anyway, the Goro thing was just an idea. Besides, after this is all said and done, I've actually got an idea for another story...
One centered around Makoto
That sounds good too, good luck to you sir
Just proof she is worst girl. In case it wasn't obvious enough.
Is Persona 4 Golden worth playing after playing the PS2 version? I finished the PS2 version twice long ago but I'm not sure wether to give it a try to Golden or not. I recently got myself a Vita and I'm looking for some games, specially Jrpgs, to play on it.
That makes sense. Most people don't really care for Goro in general.
Golden is basically the only game worth owning on a Vita so I say go for it. In addition to the extra content, it makes a lot of QoL improvements.
>Implying that isnt most women deep down
Dude, you'd be surprised by the dark inner desires of ppl. Being proper dont mean shit if its only when eyes are on you. Just cause she's in the justice system doesnt mean she doesnt wanna get dicked raw every night.
Why did autlus give us dual audio for p5 but never did with any previous game?
God I want Sae to sit on my face and call me a pervert. She activated my dick like no other girl in P5 did.
>You can't date Sae
Why settle for the low-hanging fruit that is Makoto?
what did it explain?
A shadow is what a person truly thinks and believes deep down, that inside voice in your head that always has a comment about anything is your true self because its the you that you repress in order to survive in society. Most of these voices are dark and negative and people dont like when their flaws are brought to the surface to deal with. Its why counseling and seeking help are so hard for people because they rationalize that thinking as normal or pushed back enough that it doesnt affect who they are. That's why Yosuke denied his so much because deep down he knew he was annoying as fuck and whiny, but didnt want to own up to it.
the shadows are basically the id of a person's consciousness.
Its their dark side, the side that craves destruction and carnal pleasure by any means. Its the side of a person they do not realize exists, but pushes them to seek their pleasure and desires.
t. Uni Psychology faggot
It's good for a second playthrough
because they had to delay the western release so many times
>You will never fuck this
Just end me, senpai
The desires being distorted to the extent of creating a palace is itself unnatural. Stealing the distorted desires returns them to normal state of mind, it does not brainwash them.
So what if someone just like, doesn't kill their shadow and dominates it and make it their slave or best friend?
Saebro really love your shit. Found it recently and it's a good ass read. I hate Goro so i'm glad you stopped that shit as well. Looking forward to chapter 6.
It's your Jungian Shadow you retard.
>Expecting modern Persona to understand its own source material
I wouldn't be surprised if not a single person on the Persona writing team has even heard of Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud. P1 is the only game that gets this right.
Yes please!
What shit? I only remember some screencaps about Sae being a sad cake that really wants Joker's dick.
Yes, Sae wants to be fucked hard.
It's a shame the game doesn't let you do this.
When it deals with the shadow of an individual person, Persona is consistent with the source material. "Shadows as enemies" are described in the games themselves as being the extension of the Jungian shadow across the entirety of the human collective consciousness rather than individual persons. There's obviously going to be a lot of liberties for the sake of gameplay mechanics and retaining the SMT influence, but it's not like the game just throws around the terms as buzzwords.
Goro is a fucking selfish, arrogant asshole who messes everything up and murders two of the protagonists parents in cold blood.
Why would anyone want him of all people to get to deflower a prime piece of ass like Sae?
>not being Adachi
Pathetic
Here you go, friend
pastebin.com
The entire story thus far
It's come a long way since the original shitpost I intended it to be, and a new part is coming out some time tomorrow night. Be sure to keep a look out!
I wish SMT would go deeper into Jungian psychology. That entire subject is custom made for video games.
>I wouldn't be surprised if not a single person on the Persona writing team has even heard of Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud. P1 is the only game that gets this right.
The bonus features in the TV Listings menu in P4G include a mini guide by Mr. Edogawa about Jungian crap
how so? I started with P3 so how do they fuck the concept up?
He is the one that separated from sae too
That was the idea, Sae getting brutally fucked by Goro. That's all it really would've been anyway, Sae underestimating his outwardly polite demeanor and get te shit fucked out of her by him.
>That shitpost screencap
My fucking sides
And thanks, I think it is indeed what I read but I didn't know there was more.
>I wish SMT would go deeper into Jungian psychology
They tried that once, it's called Persona.
>I wish SMT would go deeper into Jungian psychology.
user, that's why Persona exists. SMT focuses more on the relationship of humans and demons.
If you played IVA you know they are going full jung now
Yeah, sorry whoops, I was trying to find the image of the first ever post, but I got that one instead
Ew
5 also explains personae and shadows if you ever feel like taking a shit in front of Igor.
What do you realistically want from P5R?
>Akechi doesn't die + redemption arc
>Actual Sae social link
>More costumes + battle music
>More post-game content
I don't know what R is supposed to be. I'd like to fug Sae and rehauling Shido's dungeon. There are other things I'd like but they probably wouldn't make sense for the story.
A redemption arc would make Akechi's arc worse than it already is, but it's probably going to happen
>But yeah she is somewhat of a sexual repressed woman
I think the main point of her shadow's design was to show how she wanted to be free. she wanted to not dress freely and attractively, gamble and do whatever she wanted. She didn't want all those burdens of her job forcing her to be professional all the time. The shadow just took those ideas and exemplified them, like it did with Kanji and others.
Might as well
>Optional Akechi dungeon
>Extra hard difficulty
>More events
>January and February added
>New city areas to explore
>More gifts
No
No
Yes
Yes
More than anything else I want more well-done group hangout scenes. It felt like after Makoto joined the group couldn't just get together to hang out all at once unless it was to talk about plot or studying. Even Hawaii was all "Phantom Thieves Phantom Thieves Phantom Thieves" with like one decent scene (limited to Joker/Ann/Ryuji) and while I get the plot reasons why, it never felt like the cast was allowed to just chill out and gel together ever. Have more slice of life moments, have the option of hanging out with multiple people at once if they all like the same hangout spot (for example, Haru and Futaba at Akihabara, or Makoto and Ryuji at the monjoyaki place), expand stuff like Hawaii and Destinyland to have better hangout scenes.
Also rewrite Haru's confidant so we can get to know her up to rank 4 before Hawaii (including Hawaii date, like with Hifumi) and let us hangout with people in the final month, including requests for Lavenza, instead of it being a giant timeskip.
they weren't possessed so it's brainwashing
You can have a date with Hifumi in Hawaii? I fucked up, I didn't have her confidant maxed at that point.
>A redemption arc would make Akechi's arc worse than it already is, but it's probably going to happen
Yup.
Sae romance would make me happy. Sae party member instead of Goro would be 10/10.
She's really sexually repressed.
Both Makoto and Hifumi only need to be rank 5 for their Hawaii dates, because they're introduced relatively late.
>Palce in between Shido and Sae's
>The SIU Director isn't killed, but takes charge on trying to sweep everything under the rug
>Sae joins you party to take him down before she's fired at the end of the month
PLEASE
I majorly fucked up then. I went with Makoto, I guess Hifumi was at 4 or something probably from a status check that I didn't get in time.
>But your shadow should always be guided by logic and reason.
Petersonian retard shit
The whole casino thing is because she thinks law is a joke and you have to cheat your way to the top
Also, she represents envy
>The whole casino thing is because she thinks law is a joke and you have to cheat your way to the top
I don't agree with her thinking it was a joke but I the cheating part is spot on. Though I think it's less about cheating to the top in general and more so about her being the one who cheated out of her ass, while punishing others for the same thing.
Keeping in mind this is the Japanese legal system we're talking about. How rigged it is gets brought up in the game itself.
You're point? Western legal system is just as rigged.
I have to give credit to Golden because it's bonus Adachi quest sheds light on how much of a irrideemable scumbag he is. But Atlus has been on roll of terrible addendum as of late (lol Time Travel) so I wouldn't put it past them to play Akechi as sympathetic completely seriously.
The Western legal system does not have a 95-99% conviction rate.
And Japan does not have that rate because the cops always catch the right person.
One of the ways is with Shadows. In Persona for whatever reason they like to state that a Persona user can't have a Shadow, which is wrong since the Shadow and Persona are two different things, and this is seen all the way back in P1. The Shadow is ones true beliefs that must be repressed from the world. The Persona is the mask one wears to protect yourself and others from your Shadow. Using a Persona does not get rid of your Shadow, the Persona is not the true self it is one of many that changes based upon the situation.
In P1 we see this when the Protagonist encounters his Shadow near the end of the game. His Shadow wants nothing more then to be left to his own devices, so all he does is talk, congratulates you for being smart and goes about his business playing video games (so not all Shadows are hostile; don't let P4 or 5 tell you otherwise). At the end we meet Maki Sonomura's Shadow, Pandora. Unlike the Protags, Maki's Shadow is hostile because it is created by her inner nihilism and desire for death.
The story won't go anywhere, enjoy the meal with the family saefag, can't take hanging with them for granted, hopefully it works out otherwise I know itll be worth the wait
ADMIN GET IN HERE
Bring back Golden's hilariously expensive skill cards in a form that are usable on party members so they can have build diversity beyond just playing to their strengths and maybe having a boost spell with their evade spell. If you can drop 250 grand on a Debilitate card to throw on Makoto, you're probably not worried about balance anyway.
Metis touches on this during The Answer. She mentions that Personae and Shadows are the exact same thing. Even Kagutscuhi in P4U says that he's trying to turn the IT's Personae back into Shadows, implying that they're one and the same.
Oh, I know that. It's just that I hyped up Friday at around 6 to be the post date, and I'd hate to dissapoint so many of my ardent readers.
i thought it was more of a freudian thing where the shadow was like the ego to the character's superego
It's her desire to be free and live without responsibility. She feels trapped in life, in her career and with the burden of her autistic sister. She probably secretly hates her parents for dying and leaving her with Makoto.
I thought her shadow was all about controlling all the odds because in her real life things don't really go her way and she feels frustrated because of her professional and personal life. That's why Joker and his team had to cheat because it was impossible to win her games in her palace. Imagine being a virgin christmas cake whose sister hates her, is a loser with men, and is expected to do a lot at work.
That makes sense, because I wondered for awhile why there isnt any passive or non hostile shadows, for example laziness is a bad thing that can be repressed but it isnt a dark negative thing that you have to accept in order to use your persona
If you actually were going to do an Akechi redemption arc it would need a very in depth and well written story to justify the other characters forgiving him for willingly murdering people, including relatives of 2 party members.
There's actually a decently written fanfic that does this pretty well. But I don't think it's possible in the game without fucking up the story's pacing even more
I mean that's kinda her fault, no job should ever consume you to the point you cant seek out dick or pussy.
Did you actually play the games or is all your knowledge of the persona series from Yea Forums
She would be the only party member who's not a teenager. Might feel off
A better final boss and a better reason to play NG+
No need for rush man
I love your work. Through the ups and downs of the story (so far) I want yo to keep it up. Its pros outweigh the cons.
Can't wait for part 6!
Why was Makoto's autism shitposted to the point where she's basically a special needs child?
what qualifies someone to pass judgement?
>finished up 5, started 3FES
>The fact you can't control other party members is aggravating me severely
Also while P5 had an embarrassingly sluggish first 7-10 hours, I'm finding the first 3-4 of this one to be even moreso. Is it worth trudging on or should I just move onto 4 and go back to 3FES later
>trashed up whore
She looks more like a dom tbqh
Persona 3 is great. Even though you only have control on the MC, it is worth it. You will enjoy more P4after it
If you are emulating there is a "cheat" to make it manual
Wait I thought Madarame was envy
I know I know, I just feel like I need to get this out. If I don't do it tomorrow, it probably won't be till sometime next week. I am already behind on the image selection, and I am just finishing up the proofread. I have limited time tomorrow due to familial obligations, and this weekend I will be busy working on a school project. I'd hate it if something was so close to being done, and so many were expecting it, but I could not release it.
Nevertheless, I shall do my best.
FES is really fucking slow for several months, mostly due to lore reasons. It does pick up substantially later, and the last few months, barring December, is where the game picks up. It's hard to tell someone to stick with a game for so fucking long, but I definitely think the payoff is worth it.
Nope, read the trophies
I think he is pride
its funni
His was greed
I really dig Akechi's marching band costume. Shame about the everything else
Marching band? I thought it was some European style military uniform.
Madarame is Vanity
Western legal system has gotten pretty bad lately, especially the US. Mob justice now influences the masses and the media can push rulings.
I said marching band because my high school marching band had costumes that were really really similar.
>does not have a 95-99% conviction rate.
Neither does japan and I'm sure you'll avoid posting those statistics to prove me wrong.
That's why you play them in release order, you dingus.
Story notwithstanding, each game improved the overall quality of gameplay a lot. Playing 5 and then going to 3 is just going to make you dislike 3 because of how much worse the gameplay, controls, and dungeon design is.
Makoto's fursona is cute!
Can anyone explain Robin Hood? Why did he look like a western superhero? When did Akechi get him? How?
>a shadow is an amalgamation of your true thoughts and desires
false
Japan
In Japan, the criminal justice system has a conviction rate that exceeds 99%, including guilty plea cases.[7]
Straight from wikipedia. Though it does go on to say that the Japanese legal system tends to keep those numbers up, due to bureaucratic pressure by "only bringing the most obviously guilty suspects to trial"
I think it's supposed to represent his feeling of being a superhero when he plays the part of the charming detective. I guess he likes American comics? He's a wild card user and was given his power directly by Yaldabaoth. Don't know when exactly, but it was a good while before Joker shows up.
What's that? Having trouble because you can't control party members?
Some Marin Karin aughta put a stop to that!
I think the theory is that Akechi has the wildcard too. Robin Hood is the persona he gets from his SLink with you, Loki is his beginner persona. He doesn't have any more and ultimately loses because he's a loser with no friends
Congrats, you fucked up understanding the things you're lecturing other people on.
I've never played 3 but Mitsuru looks hot.
It’s from a webcomic or what not to do in Persona 3.
Oh yeah that too.
How fucking long ago did Yaldafaggot set Akechi up with a way to get into the Metaverse? We know for a fact Akechi killed Futaba's mom which had to have been at least a few years prior to the beginning of P5. If that's the case, why the fuck did Yaldabitch wait so long between setting up both of his pawns? Did he really take out Igor that long before the events of the main story? WHY DID HE WAIT SO LONG??
>He doesn't have any more and ultimately loses because he's a loser with no friends
That and he doesn't have access to the Velvet Room's services.
Robin Hood and Loki are both "personas" in the Jungian sense. Akechi is a person who desires acknowledgement, and will do whatever it takes to achieve that. Robin Hood/Crow represents the former, Loki/Black Mask represents the latter. Robin Hood is a big heroic superhero because Akechi presents himself as the heroic defender of justice to the public.
It was a little over two years before the start of the game, and yes Igor had already been shoved in the closet at that point. Yaldy waited because it was all just a game to him, he just picked the two people most likely to influence society and fight each other for his own amusement. A few years really has no meaning.
He was waiting for the PM election, as that was the perfect set up for his plot.
Also people even capable of being Wild Cards are rare as hell, so he had to find a second candidate.
It take 2 seconds of google dumbfuck.
en.wikipedia.org
Was it confirmed to be Akechi who offed Wakaba? The Metaverse research was basically still in its infancy at that point. And while Akechi helped Shido get rid of people, I don't recall him being tied to Wakaba's death.
Why though? Wouldn't that be in Yidal's best interests?
He was trying super hard to act like a good guy. Of course, since it's Aketchi he has no idea how social interactions or normal people work. So he assumed an extremely exaggerated "hero" persona would totally fool everyone if he essentially cosplayed as a super hero.
It even permeates into his AOA card
>Japan

Got any japanese gov sources or anything more accurate than wikipedia?
>where she's basically a special needs child?
Fucking hell user, I just realized you are absolutely correct. And at the same time i'm absolutely aroused. I wonder why?
>including guilty pleas
I mean who else could've done it? No one else on Shido's side had access to the Metaverse like that
>sole interest
How broken was Akechi's mind that he's able to completely separate his hero mask from his psychotic one?

It was never actually stated that Akechi doesn't have access to the Velvet Room. But consider how personae are gained in 5: you need to negotiate with shadows to win them over to your side, and form bonds with others to unlock the most powerful of each arcana. Goro never bothered with either, which was the whole point of his character. He is what the player would be if they never negotiated with a shadow, never improved the bonds with their allies, and played solo the entire time.
He's fine, just had some low blood sugar is all
Did you not remember the part in 5 where the police beat the living fuck out of Ren, drugged him, and then forced him to signing a fake confession under threat of amputating one of his legs. That wasn't an exaggeration of real life.
Akechi is supposed to represent the "other team" I believe, the antagonist that stands against humanity proving itself worthy of existence. The Velvet Room is meant for humanity's champions.
This is a waffles house.
Anyone have anymore of these Akechi edits with his motto changed?
>Akechi kills Futaba's mother
>This was years before the game starts
>Akechi is 17
>Akechi was a professional assassin at 11???
>Ren
Will never understand why that's the canon name instead of Akira. Sounds so weak and I like that the MC has a generic-ass name like Akira
Less missing content.
>the only source is clickbait article from 2001
She died 2 years ago user, he killed her at 15
Sae's a 21 year old lead prosecutor. Anime ages are dumb
God, I fucking hate the Ren name Akira was so much better. I always looked at Joker like a sorta Superman type. Mild mannered bespectacled guy blending in in the real world and super suave Lupin the Third style thief in the other.
Kanji was in love with someone he thought was a dude. He's bi at the very least.
Naoto is definitely not trans, though.
>21
No fucking way. H-how old is Kawakami then? 19?
It only sounds weak to you because Akira has a hard "k" sound.
If a Wild Card links with a Wild Card do both links go up at the same time?
Did Akechi's social links increase at the same time as Jokers?
I thought Kawakami was like 25 or something.
I thought she was 25, she looks older than Sae.
Because your retarded ass won't understand that manga names are never canon. It's Makoto Yuki, not Minato Arisato. It's Yu Narukami, not Souji Seta. And it's Ren Amamiya, not Akira Kurusu.
t.trumptard
Only his Justice link
>tfw everyone calls her kawamommy but i'm at least nine years older than her
If two Wild Cards have an SLink with the same person at the same time and the Links touch is it gay?
But he's right though. Fucking use you're goddamn brain. You don't have to be a Trump supporter or right wing to see it's out of hand.
Wait, do you share the same link with that person? I don't think Joker would have been Akechi's justice link.
Yes. The big gay. Like Ghostbusters said, never cross the links.
Every female I want to fuck is younger than me, even when they're older than MC. You get used to it.
Only the PTs (and Goro) have canon ages, everyone else is vague and nebulous. They're whatever age you think works best for them, and there's no hard evidence either way to contradict you.
Fucking how???
Anyone have the one where Futaba calls herself your girlfriend and gets flustered?
It's whatever. I romanced Futaba anyway.
Why not? Does Joker not, in his own way, represent Justice? He's punishing the guilty, and aiding those who can't aid themselves.
P5R better let you go on a data with both makoto and sae at the same time on valentine's
Rebalancing fusion levels
For some reason they decided to make most of the special fusions and cooler iconic demons of the series available at levels 80+ when you end the game around level 60.
OP didn't make an argument to begin with
I was tempted to do it, she's so adorable. I ended up going for someone else but it was a hard choice.
I mean I suppose but don't you have to take the link from Akechi's POV on how he perceives Justice?
realistically? i want the game to set the stage for either Persona 6 or the next SMT game.
I like to believe that Sae's the oldest, Mid to late 20s, with Kawakami and Tae close behind
I haven't replayed since the first time desu. I was tempted to Romance Makoto and Hifumi too.
Wait. I thought each Wild Card/Fool also distinct represented another card.
And Joker represents Devil.
Was it autism?
?
The Devil was that Reporter lady, wasn't it? Ohya?
Give Makoto a personality
Make some of the dungeons suck less
Develop Haru more
Make Morgana suck less
>Hifumi
That's who I went for actually, her autism was endearing. I wanted to like the older girls, I'm usually a sucker for them. But for whatever reason I enjoyed the other girls more this time.
But yeah, I haven't replayed it. I want to but it's so fucking long, I end up playing more of my backlog instead.
The point of all of 5's confidants is that all of them start of representing the reverse of their tarot meanings, and through their confidant storyline Joker helps them transition to the normal meanings of their tarot. If you go with the "Goro formed a two-way confidant with Joker" theory, then you need to think of a tarot that actually fits Joker in that context. Probably The World itself.
Joker represents Lucifer not the Devil or Satan. He represents freedom.
Is curing someone of a mental illness brainwashing?
Totally.
How do you pronounce Sae?
>Joker helps them transition to the normal meanings of their tarot
Yeah, by forcibly changing someone else's heart.
Sah Eh
I always pronounce it like sigh but it might be say.
I only think of Ren from Ren and Stimpy when I see that name.
Which actually has nothing to do with the character development of the actual confidants, if you bother paying attention instead of fast-forwarding.
It's either
SAY
or
SAI
Neither Lucifer nor Satan are tarot cards user
さえ= Sa-eh. Sounds more like "Sigh" in actual usage.
I fucking knew it.
It does. Unlike 3 and 4's MCs, Joker is unable to actually connect with his Confidant's mentality and help them through; his first and only thought is always to settle it through force. The Confidants naturally turn around because the person causing the problem was dealt with, but Joker never actually tries to deal with the situation itself.
>if you bother paying attention instead of fast-forwarding
Anything else you want to say or are you too busy thinking your first Persona game is absolutely perfect?
Hifumi becoming a phantom thief.
>I have no real argument based on fact so I'll just project
Literally unironically just read the dialogue of the confidant scenes and it'll prove you wrong. Just do it. You can just look it up on YouTube right now!
Read Notes from Underground first
Remove that awful space palace. That is the biggest thing holding me back from replaying P5
user, I'm the fucking retard that played through P5 3 times. Almost every single Confidant is Joker and co. diving into Mementos to solve a person's problems by forcing a change of heart.
Out of the 21 confidants, only 10 have Mementos missions associated with them. The other 11 (10 if you scrap Igor for obvious reasons) go through their own character development without Joker having to lift a finger, just by talking with them and spending time with them. Even the ones that advance automatically, do so because of Joker's influence on them. Out of the 10 that do, every single one of them goes through their character development even without the Mementos mission being relevant. Mementos is only there to provide a source of conflict that serves as a catalyst for the character's development, but completing it is never the cause of said development itself. This should be plainly obvious considering you never get them until rank 7, so that's 7 full ranks of talking to them, getting to know them, getting to know their problems, and helping them overcome their problems. EVEN IF it was as you said where literally the only thing Joker did was fight off a Mementos boss, none of those characters would actually progress and develop. Sojiro and Iwai would still be convinced they're shitty father figures, Kawakami would still be willing to sacrifice her real goals to avoid being considered a troublemaker, Shinya would still be a snot-nosed brat, and so on. Your fault, and this is a fault of yours, is that you see the problems themselves as entirely external, when the whole point of them being tarot-based confidant links is that their problems are internal flaws and require character development, with the external issues merely being a catalyst.
It was alright, just needed a little rework
Post game content just doesnt work
At best you make it so that it unlocks on ng or is a secret place , idk
More content on the palaces doesnt hurt either
Stealing people's hearts isn't brainwashing, it's basically instilling the major-crime equivalent of post-fap shame
The part that pisses me off is when they get anal when people were still going to vote Shido after getting him to admit his guilt just because he was mean to an impatient shit like Ryuji the dastard.
It just outed them as whiny babies who couldn't get their way. Even if Shido was a jackass.
"""curing"""
There's a criminal lack of porn of shadow sae you know
Shido murdered innocents and rival politicians for personal gain
Go through with it. Sounds very hot.
