Now that's 'tism
Was it worth it?
>built a castle wall
>what do I build inside it
A castle.
At least 34 Free-range cocks.
clearing the area was good for taking my mind of stressful shit, so that's a plus; the idea of having something worthwhile to build inside it would be a bonus
make it a golf field with holes and flags and other golf things.
Build a dark forest inside
A fort, blacksmith, butcher, some houses, just general medieval village shit.
Did you use modded gear to deforest?
Couldn't you have saved a fuck ton of time and flint/iron by just pouring water over a grass plane biome and building there?
Also, dungeon with torture chamber, tavern, library, throne room with chandeliers
The gradient on the towers is an interesting touch. If the water on the left is going to be in the castle grounds, you could expand the entrance a bit to make it a guarded port entrance. You definitely need to get something going with the walls though. As is, they're pretty flat. Even something as simple as archery protection or decorative crates/cannons/barrels.
You've got a pretty cohesive wall and ceiling structure going on, but at the cost of a barren floor. Maybe some ornate carpeting, tables, or armor stands to spruce up the lower third.
Pic related is an airship I've been working on for a while. Mostly been shaping up the hull and engine so far.
Slave pits, put those filthy villagers in their place.
a dirt house
Everything a medieval castle town needs. A smithy, a general store, clothes merchant, housing for people, ect. Look at everything that you would need in a game like Banished and you'll fill up real fast.
benis
I love golems you guys.
youtube.com
Zen garden with water falls and squid ponds
I did the exact same thing a few years ago, never managed to build anything in there. I probably still have the map with my shitty empty walled island somewhere on my hard drive.
bros hows my church
pooloo/10
Build a small town with a keep.
a cool statue
gray/grey, needs more color
Slabs and upside down stairs to smooth that bad boy out and you're golden
Bro wtf is that draw distance
>Thaumcraft
it hurts
Start breeding animals in the pit. Fill the entire thing with sheep and then take a picture of it and caption it with a political group and post a thread on Yea Forums with it and an unrelated question and watch the entire discussion revolve around the picture. Please.
How does this look so far? This is just my first and main chamber.
Do something about those walls and ceiling immediately
Also that floor is hideous
So, he likes the pillars.
fill it with cool architectural buildings
A city that has an old 1600’s border and as it gets twoards the center is becomes more futuristic.
What happened to it?
ye those and the lava is pretty neato
Azanor retired from it and hasn't named a successor to continue the mod.
On indefinite hiatus
I'll play around with them some more, but last time I did, they played with the lighting in a really weird way. I'm mostly just roughing in the shapes to start though.
>all that work making a big ass room with pillars and lava columns
>still has coal in the ceiling
The floor was something I just threw on quick to make it better than ore, smooths tone, and cobble that was there while I was carving it out. These are planned to lead to other chambers for farming, storage, ect.
Thanks
It isn't done yet, I finished carving out the shape about 20 minutes ago and didn't get around to the ceiling or the walls. I was planning on building a tower up from the room through the mountain I build this in so the whole roof would be replaced with the tower.
>Flattening land perfectly flat to build something
First mistake
You would've been better off using the terrain and being that guide your build
