Yeah, you can select their alternate costumes in the menu I think. There was a cutscene uploaded in an interview that has both Nero and Nico in their alts. But it's only Deluxe Edition. Haven't seen Dante's in-game yet but Nero's looks pretty good.

I can say definitively now that Nero is more fun to play as than Dante in this game. It used to be dante all the way in dmc4 but Nero has so much shit, especially after you get a full devil breaker clip and can burn through them throughout a mission without really sacrificing much.

it lets you charge your shots with more comfort so you can manage exceed gauge/gun simaltaneously while focusing on melee/breaker/jump with thumb only.

in DMC4 it was the same deal, charge shot 3 was necessary to deal with a lot of shit on higher difficulties and you could just briefly tap square if reassigned to DevilTrigger for the i-frames
