How do I beat them?
How do I beat them?
Bait out their attacks and work on the other one while they're attacking air.
You're supposed to take it in the ass and ask for more, faggot.
press r1
Use the pillars to your advantage, they might get stuck on them. Always try to keep both of them in view. Pikachu will often rush towards you while Snorlax tries to keep up, so it's easier to 1v1 Pikachu. But then you have to deal with super Snorlax.
Use the pillars to separate them
Do enough damage to deplete all their health while avoiding taking enough damage for them to do so to you.
You fuck their shit up
I frankly don't know. Everytime I replay this game, i dread this boss. I guess I'm just bad at keeping up with two dudes. That said, i used the columns to create some space.
Gert gude matey
one of them is fast and the other one is slow so it's easy to separate them and do some damage before the other rejoins. rinse and repeat.
Git gud.
They are the only boss in the game thats actually a bit of a challenge. After that all the bosses are super easy except for the black dragon in the DLC.
Manus pushed my ass in compared to any other boss in DS.
Get the fat one stuck on a pillar and kill the skinny one.
Kill the fast one first.
Kite em. Typically you want to take out Ornstein first since he's most likely to charge past you.
Use the pillars to try to split them up and get some breathing space. Don't rely on lock-on. Use it sparingly.
Kill Ornstein first by getting Smough stuck behind the pillars. At that point the battle's over, Super Smough is ridiculously easy
Who are they?
I only beat him by cheesing him with the great shield of artorias. You can just turtle all fight long and keep poking him.
Rape Ornstein with pyromancy then kite Smough from behind a pillar
>Git gud.
I honestly wish everyone who unironically gave this advice just burst into flames on the spot.
It's pretty much a non-comment.
But oh no, now I've upset your sensibilities and you'll probably start screeching about liberals, toxicity and snowflakes.
You slam and welcome to the jam.
Manus is tough sure, but they literally give you the tool to beat him and nullify his worst attacks.
Its the swipes you need to avoid honestly.
it’s the best kid of advice.
what else do you want, you schizo?
Dark Souls is two buttons, there's no strategy to bosses, just hit them (r1) and don't get hit (roll). Git gud is perfect advice.
same as every other boss: level up health/stamina, upgrade your best weapon, roll your ass off
be range and summon
Pilars. It´s braindead easy, as the whole series, you just either cheese the bad AI or repeat till get used to it. Nothing different from a raid boss
>replay Dark Souls as a Pyromancer
>the very first Black Knight I fight drops the Black Knight Sword
>breeze through the whole game without any trouble, not even O&S, the casual filter for me, posed no threat to me
Either this sword is too broken or transferring my Bloodborne tactics of being aggressive into Dark souls is paying off, maybe both.
t. Game “journalist”
Back to the grievance studies department, get ye gone!
Not him, but that's like a teacher telling you ''learn more'' when askig him something. It's obvious, what the question implies is more information, strategies, something that you have learned that helped you in the fight.
playing aggressively always is more efficient in souls. those guys who said shields are crutches back during the demons souls days were right.
