It's the same engine as FO3, New Vegas, Skyrim, FO4... and Catherine, of all things.
Engines are irrelavnt as long as dev teams are capable of doing proper coding, which Bethesda isn't.

Engines are very important, are you serious? Some engines are just flat out not built for certain games. Frostbite, for example, is only good for FPS games, which is partly why every other game made on that engine is garbage.

E3 has already quietly died once back around the time of the whole Booth Babe Ban drama, and has been kept alive by these mega-publishers themselves ever since. it's been next to worthless as an actual TRADE SHOW for years already (is there even an 'indie side-hall' at all, any more?), and the value to the mega-publishers has been fading steadily.

The best thing about Sony and EA dropping conferences is that Microsoft's has basically no excuse to be bad. Every game that could have been at either conference (except Sony published ones obviously) now may be at MS's. I have mixed feelings about this and Sony. The overall quality of E3 may improve with their absence, but I personally think it won’t be as fun to watch, knowing that some major pieces of the puzzle are now missing.
