I have sources. I know people who know big things about Smash Ultimate's DLC. In fact, they have informed me on the complete character list for the Fighter Pass, along with new content coming in version 3.0.0, along with when. I cannot disclose anything about these sources, as they will 100% lose their job. However, I'm still getting the word out since you all need to know. The 5 characters are as such:
Joker Erdrick Banjo-Kazooie Gen 8 Pokemon Fire Emblem: Three Houses Rep.
I've been told that the new Pokemon and FE reps have not been disclosed to the other members of the company, most likely to avoid leaks like this. However, our guess for the Pokemon is one of the final evolutions - most likely Grookey. Anyways, here is the new content in Smash Ultimate version 3.0.0:
Joker (obviously) Stage Builder Return of Poke Floats A new Multi-Man Smash mode based on the WoL Master Hand segment called Master Hand Smash
As for when it will be released, they know it will be out in early April, but no concrete date has currently been confirmed. I know many won't believe me, and I don't blame you. But you gotta hear me out on this. Big things are happening...

They literally said not character from an already represented franchise would ever make it to Smash, so Mario, FE, Pokemon, SF etc aren't happening, it has already been confirmed, Stop wasting your time.

I feel like if we do somehow get a gen 8 mon for DLC, it'll most likely be Grookey's final evolution. Partially because we don't have a grass starter yet, but mostly because we just aren't allowed to have any pokemon that isn't a fucking starter become playable in smash anymore apparently.
That being said, I surprisingly wouldn't mind all that much, as all three gen 8 starters look like they have a lot of good potential, whereas the others in gens previous only really had one or two max.
