It is a flawed but ultimately worthwhile game. Ultimately its biggest shortcoming is, unfortunately, a really core part of the game, which is that enemy AI is inconsistent. Huge chunks of the game are built around intuiting that an enemy will respond to certain player actions in a particular way, despite the enemies’ responses to player action being very limited outside of those specific scripted responses.

It gets into a certain degree of pixel-hunt-tier “how the fuck was I supposed to know to use the rope on the fish to make a fishrope” bad 90s adventure game puzzle design because of this.

It’s still fun.

Every colossi is piss easy even on only the starting stamina. Matter of fact I didn't even realize you could snack on lizards/apples to increase your stamina and health and it still was piss easy to do everything.

Cost 20 dollaridoos, not exactly expensive. Still desu it was a waste of money because I can complete the game in an hour or even less.
Still need to collect all the lizards and fruit in the PS3 HD version for the plat. Might need hard time attack too. I know I have to complete it another 3 or so times for max stamina and health aswell..
Then I gotta do the same in the remake.

The whole game is a puzzle game you fucktard. How do you know how to get to every colossi without doing the puzzle of using the sword, following the light beam, finding how to traverse to where the beam points, finding the weak points, how to climb them and how to get to the points.

Fuck you with your stamina management there are plenty of colossi that will fuck you up with stamina management. It's not like you know how and where to crouch on them for stam regen unless you do what OP clearly did and just followed a guide, or you do what non autismos do and learn by experimentation while playing the game.

Shadow of the Colossus is the exact opposite of a movie game. You're always in full control of Wander, you can't even climb without holding a button down or you'll fall off, and you even have to manage stamina while climbing and using your sword.

You trade Berserk armor for 60fps+4k+mods. Both have their pros and cons.
