They need to speed up the process of accepting games.
I usually finish my pirated steam copies before I can buy them from GoG.

Games that are on gog are easier to pirate
That's it

I don't buy from shills forcing their shitty marketing services in my games

I use GOG mainly for indie shit. Pretty cool and decent prices.

>pirate
>drm free

based counter shill

Correct. :^)

steam for boomers

I like GOG its also the most aesthetic store and client, load up on games when they are on sale which is quite often

Lolwut

Good company, nice deals (Age of wonders II, bought it yesterday for 7,80 euro, was more than 30 euro on steam).

Futhermore, I like the fact that they go ahead and try to adress a niche with their classic games.

I'd buy from them if they actually got good releases on time but developers don't want to release shit on GOG early because they're so afraid of pirates.

Oh, hi Paul

Their model gives them neither the diversity nor amount of opportunities for income. Despite my suggestions early on, they did invest in becoming a publisher, among other items. I'd wish them the best, but it's hard to when the owners have no interest in what you have to say.

I like GOG. I can download my games and play them without a client popping up. Weird as it sounds, I'm often less likely to play games one Steam because I can't just boot them up without Steam running.

I like that they don't use DRM so whether or not they are still operating in 20 years is irrelevant to my playing games I've purchased from them. Apart from that I don't give a shit.

Why can't you take a joke? faggot

>easier to pirate
Gonna have to explain that to me.
It was pretty easy to pirate RE2 remake and Metro Exodus for me and they were never released on GoG while having industry leading DRM which held a week tops.

I was almost buying shit on gog before its users kept trying to turn the multiple launchers on pc into "consolewars". Same goes for Epic and Steam.

GOG.com is pretty much the best there is.
You get no DRM, and you often have more goodies too.
If a game is on GOG.com, that's usually the option I go with.
It's also the closest thing we have to a video game equivalent to the Criterion Collection.

And if you want a game that's been pulled from the store, you can easily pirate it.

This.

Yes, it's the prettiest looking store and client.

I think developers treat the Steam release as the vanilla edition release while the GOG.com version is practically the collector's edition.

Reminder to filter tripfags. They are always trying too hard to fit in.

it's useful when they give you free games
it's useless otherwise

>DRM which held a week tops.
He doesn't have to explain anything lol

>not setting display.all as user
no user the identityfag is you

Fuck PC.

I could go for a DRM-free Multiplayer game.
Be nice if there were something where I could run a program on my local machine, and a faraway machine is also running a program, and the programs could connect, without some SJW faggot in his ivory tower being able to interfere.

>benis

thatd be epicgs

You dumb nigger. The issue is not just the tripcode.
No, I'm not going to explain why since I already know you won't accept it.

owned by CDPR so its doomed to fail

>benis
user, what are you talking about.

He's on Yea Forums, he just automatically assumes that all characters are male. Ignore him and enjoy your DRM-free waifu, even if she is 3d.

Much more intuitive store site and client than Steam, but very limited library.

good old games, but not enough of good new ones

>Claimed they had an unconditional refund policy within a time period
>They refused to give me a refund

Never giving them another dime

At least try to make sense

GoG-chan likes it raw, just like I like my games.

Attached: 1.jpg (1776x1080, 332K)

delet, gog-chan isn't for lewding

Any singleplayer game (and certain types of multiplayer game) that isn't receiving constant updates like a "live service" is objectively better there. Anyone who willingly locks their game to Steam when they have the option not to is a retard

She like no DRM protection I take it?

I have built her for offline LAN party gangbangs.

I've gotten all the classic games I want from them so I rarely use them now but, they're pretty great.

Post libraries.

Steam still the best
I mean, the small quality of life stuff steam has is too good
Like seamless Dualshock 4 integration
I even get the playstation buttons in Yakuza

what's up with that Grimoure game? what's all the fuss about?

Steam and GOG complete each other, it's almost magical

Attached: 1414243182904.png (575x474, 328K)

I use them as a catalog for pirating.

Gog advantages
>Way more practical to use

Steam advantages
>Refunds

I have no fucking idea how GOG Connect is supposed to work. I have several games in my Steam library that are also available on GOG, but whenever I try to unlock them on GOG it says "NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND". Yes, I have made my Steam library public, so it's not the problem.

Attached: 1531886646_maxresdefault-1024x576[1].jpg (1024x576, 44K)

Explain.

Game name please.
Or it is Artificial Academy 2?

They're fine.

They're fine, but GOG Client for Linux literally when? I've been waiting for years wtf

Connect works limited time only. GOG usually notify users about it.

Ok. The game is called Koikatu.

Cute small library. I own all of these.

Doomed to fail because ultimately people want DRM.

True, i'm sick of underage Yea Forumstards getting caught by daddy when trying to steal his credit card, so they come to Yea Forums to shit on the game like sour grapes

I actively go out of my way to purchase games from GOG when I can, I've even re-purchased some games I already own on GOG strictly because I have never had a bad experience with GOG. Their support team has always been fantastic and helpful, they offer goodies for all their old games including art and soundtracks, and they actually update their games for newer systems so there is always less problems for newer systems. GOG is unironically the best service right now.

They mainly do Connect during mega sales.

I don't think people want DRM at all, they're just neutral towards it. There are plenty of games on Steam that don't use DRM but people don't even notice because they just run everything through the Steam launcher anyway

Download, install and play. Wham bam thank you ma'am.
