It's unfair even compare: Bayonetta 2 boss battles are much better. Each fight looks like a final boss of another game.

Yeah, It is unfair to compare a movie with QTEs to an actual game.
but DMC5 doesn't have QTE
Hence why I called it an actual game.
People who praise Bayonetta's boss fights are the same people who praise Asura's Wrath's.
Bayonetta 2 is style over substances. It does the job pretty well scratching the itch for stylish action, but DMC5 shows why overblown setpieces is ultimately inferior.
Asura's Wrath is awful, bayo is great.
Funny how you can say that with confidence when dmc1 and dmc4's bosses were utter shit aside from Nelo Angelo and Credo.
Why can't we like both? Why are we infighting like fucking faggots?
Yea Forums has nothing else in their lives so they have to claw at any type of superiority they can. It happens with literally everything on this piece of shit board
I love Bayonetta, but the boss fights aren't that great aside from 2 or maybe 3 good once
And no, rediclous things happening in the background while QTEs pop up doesnt make it a better boss fight
bayonetta2 had some good bossfights. better than dmc4 for sure. but thats only because they stopped overusing the gigantic angel turds from bayonetta1 and was a way more finished game than dmc4.
I expect dmcv to be better though.
It's just a shitposter trying to stir up fanbase wars
There are just a few QTEs on Bayonetta 2 bosses.
Bayo 2's fights are eye candy (and to an extent Bayo 1 too), but I wouldn't say they're mechanically interesting. Half the time I have no idea what's going on with all the shit happening on the screen. Overall poor visual direction.
People who make these threads like neither DMC nor Bayo, they just want to start shit
I'd rather have a full game full of giant angel bosses than a single flying boss, because holy fuck are Bayo 2's flying bosses dogshit
As much as I love Bayo, even I gotta say the bosses after the first time are really boring. They are barely even actual fights with almost half of it feeling more like a cutscene.
Bayo 2 is an objectively worse game tho. Most of the bosses felt more like cutscenes than actual fights.
Speaking of bayonetta boss fights the counterattack segments in the Jeanne fights were bullshit artificial difficulty.
Issue I have with Bayo and Platnuim combat in general is that it's always style over substance. DMC bosses have some insane mechenic's if you are willing to experiment and figure them out, in fact on higher difficulties its pretty much required. Bayo on the other hand the bosses feel like drawn out QTE's.
My issue with Bayonetta 2's bosses is that too many of them are spent with Bayonetta flying in the air. 1 was superior.
I prefer the feel of the hits hitting the bosses in Bayonetta than DMC, in the end it's a matter of taste. Maybe DMC5 change my opinion.
