Are your dreams like this. Yea Forums?
Why is she outside and alone?
>Having dreams
Get out normie, you probably have goals too.
because she's smelly
I read the Novel and I'm fucking confused what the fuck is going on.
It's 2nd person 1/3rd ,then 1st person
It's almost as bad as the manga version.
kys lmfao
My dreams are empty landscapes filled with hard light and shadow, usually accompanied by feelings of absolute isolation
Also used to have endless dreams when I was a kid about running nonstop through a beautiful rainforest that only got more vivid, more humid, and heavier on my senses until I collapsed
I dunno lol
Nah, my dreams have SOUL like NO-ONE ELSE!
t.special snowflakes
I've been taking some medication lately and it's making me have extremely vivid dreams.
Last night I had a dream where I was in a mall and someone started shooting up the place. As me and a bunch of people kept hiding, we found out the shooter is also a psychic with telekinesis. He'd pull people out of their hiding spots and crush them against the ceiling until they splattered.
I have vivid dreams after spending a day writing music. I kind of feel like it's a reward. I put time and effort into making something, and in return, I get an interesting sleep.
Not really. My dreams are pretty regular looking but weird shit happens in them. I like dreams threads because I get to post about them.
>last night have a dream set in a cyberpunk city with neon billboards and shit but set on Halloween
>decide to get a McGangbang, a McChicken and a McDouble merged together
>buy the McChicken from one Maccas, then decide to get the McDouble from a different one right around the block for some reason
>person keeps fucking up my order and giving me Halloween themed drinks and stuff
>hard cut to playing an augmented reality type game where 30 people dressed as cowboys fight with modern guns, C4 and metal pipes in a small room
Am I being advertised to in my dream
Nah, my dreams usually involve being chased and/or killed.
say what you will about the remake but that alley level is aesthetic kino.
last night I dreamed that I was on a Yea Forums blue board and some guy shitposted some porn an then I woke up and cummed my bed
but I was posting on Yea Forums and watching JAV until midnight so that may have had something to do with it.
>tfw you wake up and say goodbye to those buddies you met in your dream that you still faintly remember
I've unironically had dreams based on threads
My dreams are like episodes of a show that never airs.
I had one where i was bart and my sister was lisa. we pass by this huge castle with some weird gypsy lady in it with a flute. my sister talks to her for a while giving her wisdom and shit while the rest of my family looks up at the sky where there are like fireworks and rainbows. later on in the dream (i dont really remember what happens inbetween other than a train ride through the safari) we are surrounded by a hoarde of zombies. for whatever reason i’m not afraid and my sister is wondering why. i explain that i gained some sort of immortality by sacrificing maggie (apparently our third sibling) during the previously mentioned fireworks show. i attached her to a special rocket to complete the deed. HOWEVER apparently in actuality it sent her back in time to grow up to become the gypsy that my sister talked to DURING the fireworks show.
The twist blew my mind so fucking hard i woke up. All of my dreams are like this, once I dreamed a completely new zelda game complete with dungeons with weird physics and sidequests.
Mine are more like
Saw a pretty vivid dream recently.
Was at the summer cottage with the family dog, he's getting old, around fifteen years old.
The good boy goes swimming and the next thing I see is his corpse at the bottom of the lake, with the water being crystal clear. Somehow I knew that his leg broke as he's been having joint issues.
Feels pretty bad, I love that dog.
You guys ever get sudden awareness when you face a problem in a dream? Like "oh how do I fix this? Oh wait I'll just wake up lol"
>having dream
>trying to run in the dream
>moving at a snail's pace despite trying as hard as i can, as if i was slowed down or in some sort of substance like water
>i try jumping
>i somehow jump 20 feet in the air
>once i land (on my face) i wake up
>having a bad nightmare
>jolt awake in a panic
>"whew glad that's over"
>go back to sleep
>nightmare continues
I almost never dream, and when I do I have to mentally go back through and figure out what actually happened the previous day and what was just part of the dream. They're that fucking boring.
>: ^ | orange man bad, guys
NEVER WORKS FOR DREAMS THOUGH
>t. incel
what
>always in public place
>by public I mean grimy parodies of places I like to be
>always begin with me being alone
>sometimes I end up drowning somehow, getting stripped naked and having to sneak around people, or loosing teeth randomly
>I've had dreams where all of this occurred in it's span
I know that being naked in a dream means nervousness but I have no idea what else the others mean
Sometimes I dream of rando shit combined with videogames. Like a casino, snowfield reminiscent of that snowy area from Megaman Legends 2 and a abandoned subway filled with robot zombies that was somehow tied to Megaman X Command Mission.
Real life will never be as cool as my shitty dreams
losing teeth in dreams is a very common sign of anxiety or stress, my insane conspiracy theorist uncle used to get it badly.
i've had dreams where random teeth (molars mostly) just exploded.
Nah, just reflections of places I know where the gaps between them are merged.
I haven't really dreamed in years
>you forget them an hour later but will never remember forgetting them until now
feelssadman
I'm always naked in my dreams, but I always figured that's because I sleep naked. And I'm never embarrassed about it in my dreams either, I'm just casually naked. And none of the other people in my dreams ever comment on it or even seem to notice it. I wonder what that means.
Sometimes I have dreams where I am not alone, but then I wake up and feel nothing but pain brought by reality.
>Dream that I'm driving
>Suddenly realize that I'm somehow holding the wheel from the backseat
>Freaking out because the headrest is blocking my vision
I fucking hate driving
>getting stripped naked and having to sneak around people
Literally every dream in middle school
>keep getting dreams about this psychopathic brodude video game reviewer icycalm where I feel extremely uncomfortable
I once had a dream where I was in like a test tube and some people walked up to me and commented on my dick. And usually you expect them to say it's small or even it's big but they were like "wow it's average" "yup it's average"
>getting stripped naked and having to sneak around people
Literally every day in middle school
Nah. They take place in a world just like ours but with a disquiet undercurrent. Things and people are off. Sometimes I'll remember sohing like a memory only to discover it was a dream.
I dreamt of a weurd pub in town but for 3 days I actually thought I went to that pub Irl, till I realized it wasn't real.
Honestly, what's it even like to dream? I don't think I've ever really dreamt more than like a cheap 2 seconds where I imagine something that could already have happened in my day to day life but hasn't. Is my imagination broken or something?
>It's a "get yelled at by some of the nicest people you know and run out of town even though you've done nothing wrong" dream
>It's a "you start losing your teeth dream but they grow back and you lose those too so you're just vomiting teeth constantly through the night" dream
>It's a "you meet a nice girl and start a family" dream, and that's all it is and ever will be
I look forward to my Yume Nikki tier dreams.
depends on the dream
for me its like being in a place that constantly completely changes everytime you blink or focus on something else and you never really think about it
you just go along with it even if you go "hey this is a dream"
I'm naked in literally all of my dreams, regardless if they're ones with crazy shit happening or if it's just normal mundane shit, and no one ever cares. I honestly can't remember the last time I had a dream where I wasn't naked. It's kinda cool actually, I wish I could just hang out naked irl without getting arrested.
nope, most of mine involve blurry faced people and my gruesome death
Nah, mine are like this.
whenever i have a dream that involves sexual content i always wake up when i get aroused
kinda annoying when you just wanna rape the girl in the dream and get something out of your sleep
I haven't had a sex dream since one when I was like 10 and fucked my cousin
>that first one
I've had that before, that shit sucks. Also,
>teeth falling out
>getting chased and/or killed
>spiders everywhere
are all reocurring dreams I commonly have. Any psychfags in here who can explain the meanings of these dreams?
>have a dream after trying to lucid dream by drinking caffeine or some shit before bed
>dream about being back in high school
>just sitting at a table under a tree with people who were probably my friends but dream me couldn't tell them specifically apart
>start walking off for some reason
>sit next to qt 3.14 crush I had in high school
>barely even remember her face, but there was no other person that could have had given me that feeling
>end up sleeping on her lap and close my eyes
>sun's shining warmly on my face whilst I sleep
>felt her touch my face gently
>wake up
>still feel a bit of warmth on my cheek
a lot of my dreams are set just before sunset or at twilight. the color composition of a rising sun reminds me a lot of dreaming.
>Dream where I fall or get flung from a high place
>Feel my stomach drop and the gravity change in that split second of hanging in the air
>See the ground and know it's over as I begin to plummet
>Wake up screaming
I wonder if I've ever said so embrassing shit in my sleep during sleepovers
All my dreams are of me being persecuted for everything I hate about myself that nobody in the waking world seems to mind.
>it's a "extremely vivid sexual fantasy' dream
i once had a shitty dream where i tried to escape by purposefully jumping off something high but when i landed i didnt wake up lmao
i was crippled in my dream for like 2 minutes
I used to know Spanish as a child but couldn't even begin to understand it or put together a sentence of it as an adult. Full-blown newscaster English currently.
However I speak Spanish loudly and fluently while asleep.
>dream where the context is I have to kill myself
>put the gun to my temple
>in that moment, it really truly feels like I'm gonna die. like my life is in my hands
Had one like that but with a car crash
Where do you work out?
I get that shit too. Or I'm driving from the passenger seat and I can't reach the brake.
You have the teeth dream as well?
>have a dream that's just my normal life but somehow everything feels better
>wake up
>lie in bed for hours because I desperately want to go back to it
Fox News
The rare times I do remember my dream I'm being choked by a shitload of hands coming out of a mirror
I had small period of time where my dreams kept having a gory theme to them, it was starting to get irritating. Luckily I don't remember most of them except one where a girl lifted her shirt to flash herself and it was completely shredded flesh with her insides exposed. What stuck with me most was seeing her body fat which is a detail I almost never think about when it comes to that stuff.
Guilt and paranoia
i had a super vivid one once where i rented an apartment that was in some kind of tunnel, and i started panicking later that week because it was the first and i thought i would have to pay rent on it
The only dream I remember was a dream where I was stuck in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere with animalistic, demon-like entities persuading me to join them.
>Long comfy dream where I'm not stressed and there's no impending doom or immediate threat to my survival.
>Wake up with a shout as if in terror to my good old normal poorfag life wrought with twenty years of bad decisions.
See you faggots in 15-20 years.
>Have a dream where you've got friends and a girlfriend and you all spend your time doing interesting things together
>Wake up and find out they're not even real
>Start to forget everything about them
Fuck, man. I've got friends and a gf irl so that's not the problem but it's like I lived a whole other life in the dream and it just dissipated. Happened more than once too.
alot of my dreams involve me getting killed or hurt because my parents wouldnt come to me when i called
first one of these i can remember is where im in the living room and there is some weird black blob the tickles extremely to the touch
my parents come home with a shitton of groceries like months worth of stuff
the blob grabs me and makes me laugh so much i cant breathe while im screaming for help and my parents just go "after we put the groceries away" lmao
so fucking stupid
In my most recent dream I dreamt that I was playing a Battle Royale game made by Bethesda, starring characters from Rage 2 and Fallout 76 (Mostly different versions of the Vault Boy) and I was watching a trailer where the protag from Rage 2 used that ground pound ability to send out dozens of Vault Boys flying like rag dolls. Eventually I was watching a video, but the more I watched the video as it turns out I was actually playing the game in said video, and a very derpy looking player model of Solid Snake with his MGS4 look appeared wielding a pistol and walking like a retard, everyone was laughing at him -most notably me- but his pistol could kill you in one shot and despite many shooting at him (Including me) they could only cause him chip damage (He was near death but the bar depleted super slowly), eventually he shot me and I laid in first person laughing as this very retarded looking player model was murdering everybody. Then out of the sudden he turned into a druid, wearing a red robe and he was casting a spell, the sky started to go dark and there was thunder, but I was still laughing albeit nervously, then the Druid started to look at me, while another downed player crawled over where I was and started fondling my testicles. I started screaming as the Druid started to overcharge and I remember there was a thunderous explosion, and I woke up at that point.
The weird part is that I have no interest in BR games nor played any, or a MGS game for that matter. Don't try to ask me what the fuck lead to me having this dream, but I assure you I have plenty of vivid, retarded and absurd dreams like this. Enjoy my autism.
does anyone ever have dreams of endless voids with objects randomly scattered through them
>Dreaming
>It's nothing special, nor is there anything in particular happening, but you're just happy for some reasons
>Wake up
>Feel like absolute shite
>dreaming that i'm in a public place somewhere
>some girl approaches me
>oh god here we go
>she leads me into an alley
>of course i'm going to get hit with rape charges
>she hugs me
>not like casual hug hug but proper serious bf/gf hug sorta thing
>immediately become really tense
>she pulls back and smiles at me
>realize she's not fucking with me
>wake up
it took me a couple of days to start feeling sad
in my latest dream i fucked some guy up with one punch because he blasted his gay nigger music next to me
>walking along a row of railroad ties
>slip
>wake up
Everytime
legs kick up?
I've stopped trying to remember my dreams. I can do it, if I write it down right after waking up, but I don't really care what my dreams are about.
>something that feels really interesting and profound, but makes no narrative sense when I think about it after waking up
>nightmare that also makes no narrative sense, but leaves me with a lingering sense of unease if I dwell on it
>that one dream where I keep waking up except I'm still in the dream, which is sometimes terrifying and sometimes amusing, but for fuck's sake haven't I seen it enough times now
What's even the point?
There's probably a reason humans naturally forget their dreams. There isn't really any useful information in them. It's just the brain producing some random junk data while it does whatever it does during sleep.
No my dreams are weirder.
Fuck, I think so
It's like getting jolted with electricity
I feel the ground hit me
>Take sleep meds for good dreams
>Had a dream that looks like .flow
>Red, white and black rooms that lead to other rooms
>They all have distorted faces, blood and smiles
>No door, have to get sucked through the wall in order to advanc in this labyrinth
>Find some distorted versions of school girls and boys looking at me
>Huge insect monster talks to me about this place and how to escape
Fuck this was a wild ride, the strange part is that I didn't wake up in fear and the dream still continued.
>normie
you first normalfag
>have a dream where i explore a long, seemingly endless hallway lined with doors
>behind each door is a room with a collection of items in it
>like a room that's just cat figurines, a room that has multiple gaming systems
>every door looks really fancy and brand new
>except one
>one door looks really old and dirty
>behind that door is a fuckhuge room with a painting on the opposite side
>go in
>immediately, the door shuts behinds me and i hear it lock
>start walking
>the room gets darker the farther i go
>when im at the painting its nearly pitch black
>the painting depicts a person standing in a dark room
>except its not a painting
>it's a fucking window
>immediately after i realize this i wake up
what does this mean
i hate when it happens
like you just go to sleep and then you dream that you are walking and then you trip and kick out and you're muscles are sore because you just went to sleep
based
a few years back I had a dream where I wrestled someone onto a train track for talking shit
then I had a vision of all the suffering in the universe throughout all of time and I affirmed it all as necessary for my specific existence, it was pretty neat
its your other mind
he wants out
pretty cool
i like to envision dreams as alternate worlds
that makes it a little more interesting to think about
>It's a "take a piss in the bathroom or somewhere else and piss yourself irl" episode
>It's a "fall down from a cliff" episode
>It's a "about to get laid but wake up when you're about to do it" episode
>It's a "be in a familiar place but everything starts to get darker, suddenly the place is empty and feel like something is following you" episode
>It's a "you have awesome powers but the moment you start to control them at will you wake up" episode
>It's a "you are a kid again at [place you remember fondly]" episode
Fucking hell
>Have a dream where me and a girl with short black hair and I are sitting at a corner table
>her hair is like pic related
>she puts her forhead to mine and I put my hands on the back of her head
>I can feel the spiked choppy way her hair feels
>She says something nice to me or about me
I've never touched the back of a girls head in that fashion before
It feels good.
Anybody here gets to do that I'm jealous
>used to have uneventful and boring dreams for years with the occasional lucid dream and nightmare here and there
>started to have mostly lucid dreams with lots of usually exciting things going on all of a sudden every single night
feels good man
Shieet didn't mean to respond
cute pic
nice message
>become lucid
>create a black room with a comfy bed
>transform into a loli
>get some dude to fuck me
You idiots need to try this.
>he doesn't dream in 4d
>when you have a dream about an old pet who's been dead for years
>in the dream you know something's off but you don't remember they're dead
>all you're aware of is an overwhelming desire to protect them
>Dream where I have this gigantic soccer ball-sized zit on my chest
>Try my damndest to leave it be and let it heal
>It pops while I'm in the shower and exposes my heart
>Panic because I don't wanna die
>Beg people I know to take me to a doctor
>Everyone either doesn't care, acts like it's no big deal, or tells me I'm exaggerating despite being able to see it
>Wake up in a panic and my heart pounding a mile a minute
i had a dream where Yea Forums made a new board called /0/ and anyone who went on it would straight up fucking die irl, but would keep posting on other boards
Anyone else here get frequent night terrors and wind up playing the role of the Boogeyman in your own nightmares?
I don't know what causes it, but they pretty surreal and almost abstract at times.
whenever i have body horror dreams i just beg to die instead
>actually becoming the little girl
Fuck how do you anons lucid dream, I literally cannot do it for the life of me.
>some user posts fucking etrian guro where some gas melts this girls fucking face
>dream my face is fucking melting and growing extra teeth that are all falling out
that was the last time I looked at an etrian thread before bed
Sounds like an improvement
>dream that I'm balding
>those 3 minutes of panic after I wake up
jesus
This was definitely a first for me. Usually when I have bad dreams they're stress-heavy or involve me being chased or jumped.
>not having sex with a loli as a loli
you're fucking gay, user
>Always dream of walking around large open fields, forests, huge lakes, with beautiful music playing
>Asleep enough to forget about real life but awake enough to enjoy the experience
>Always feel a mixture of excitement from being free of any burdens and relaxed from the enviroment
>Wake and feel my heart sinking as my brain slowly falls back into reality
All these dreams ever are are pure happiness. Ive visited a few countries with landscapes similar to my dreams in the hope of having some epiphany or awakening or something and it never feels the same. Pic related is the most recent place I visited. I felt nothing.
i had a dream about 3 years ago where there was some chemical spill at my old school and for some reason i wasnt wearing shes and i accidentally stepped in it
and when i got home my arm started to burn and swell up and then the skin ruptured and my entire body was turning into pus
i took some metal spike thing and asked my mom to kill me with it and she kept saying "lets just wait it out and see what happens"
i was so mad
>have a dream where I'm about ten years younger, and I'm with my dad in his truck somewhere in eastern Ohio during winter
>and he abandons me at a gas station
>not having sex with a shota as a loli
you're the only one who's guy here user
my dreams used to be about monsters when I was young
>oh I'll just blink my eyes rapidly to wake myself up when anything bad happens
works for a while but then the dreams start to put me in to another dream rather than wake me so I'll think I woke up in my bed while being unaware I'm still in the same nightmare
>oh you play like that, brains huh? well by now I'm old enough to not believe in mosters so jokes on you, I'll propably just wanna fuck em anyway
works for a while, again BUT THEN sleep paralysis starts happening and I have no solution for this to this day
tl;dr why do brains want to fuck us over with nightmares anyways?
to prepare you for the less scary real world
>not having sex with a dom milf that pegs you as a shota
you're both fags
I've come to understand a lot of my dreams involve me doing incredibly mundane shit that I half forget about.
Sometimes I'll think about having found something I lost, or some item that I put somewhere specific in my dream, only to realize it didn't actually happen.
Very rarely do my dreams have particularly interesting "stories" and even then they rarely escape the confines of reality. Though once in a while something slips through, to join my collection of dreams with the theme of either my testicles being in pain, or the world ending.
jesus christ how horrifying
>When you get too far into your dream and the dream people wake you up to send you back.
this
>it's a life-and-death ultraviolence struggle dream where you and an enemy stab each other 40 times inside a flooding stairwell
violent dreams are the best
it's better than video games
>tfw im an artist and would love to have surreal dreams like this
>the only standard nightmare I get is the teeth falling out one
i hate it when your arms punch slower the harder you try
>not being the dom milf that pegs the shota
you're a double fag
>recurring dreams about getting back in touch and going out with old friends you haven't seen for years, doing cool weird stuff in bizarre dreamscapes but nobody bats an eyelid
It's enjoyable when you're in the dream, but all I could think about the following day.
I unironically had a dream recently where E3 was taking place in my old uni's lecture hall
All I remember about it is that Nintendo revealed Steve as DLC for SSBU and I was so happy I climbed on stage to celebrate
I've had dreams where an item I stashed in an earlier dream helps me in this one.
Like it's tv show episodes
>wake up early, before alarm goes off
>still operating on weird dream logic
>lie "awake" for a while, unable to go back to sleep because you're trying to wrap your head around some problem that doesn't make sense/exist
>reality takes a weirdly long time to kick in, wind up forgetting what you were concerned with
I hate this, happened today. All I can remember is that it involved math.
Smoke weed for a few days, then stop. Your dreams will come back with a vengeance a few days later.
>he wants to be a woman
user, I..
>Nightmare where im being chased
>Run into a room and shut the door
>Panic and shoot myself in the head to get away from whatevers chasing me
>Feel a dull pain in the side of my head and fall to the floor
>My eyes are open and i can still see and feel but I cannot move
>Situation is now a hundred times worse
It helps to write stuff down as soon as you get out of bed, else there's a good chance it'll just slip beyond your grasp. Even just a few sentences cements your memory of it.
I keep dreaming about people I know burning to death. It really scares me. I've told people but they just laugh
>he doesn't
user, I have bad news for you...
>the faster you try to run the slower you become
might as well kill myself
Jokes on you, I'm already a woman but just want to be a little boy..
>be 5 years old
>live in apartment with parents
>nightmare where I opened our house's door
>apartment looked normal, except for the stairs which seemed to go down forever
>the more I walk down, the darker it gets
>all of a sudden, the door in my house opens and something runs out screaming
>go down the last flight of stairs in the darkness as the footsteps grow louder
>Finally get to the exit
>It always catches me
I've been having the same nightmare ever since. I only managed to escape once, but a car ended up running me over
>In all my dreams, I'm living my life better than I do in real life
>I'm fit and way more adventurous and outgoing
>I'm sometimes a hero
>I have a loving girlfriend, but I keep waking up and forget what she looks like.
Why can't I remember it, bros? If I could remember her face, and how I got her, maybe my life wouldn't be like this. it's not fair.
>have a zombies apocalypse dream
>zombies always go for the testicles when they catch me and start eating me
I hate how stuff hurts in dreams.
That’s actually what happened recently. I’ve been taking a tolerance break and I’ve been having a lot of hyper realistic dreams. Weird shit all around, but I can’t remember any specifics.
>I've been having the same nightmare ever since
fuck that
And I'm already a guy but just want to be a cute girl...
Remember to dilate
>Spoiler
What?
>Leave my house
> A horde of the pointing two headed things from Silent hill 4 chases me down the street in broad daylight
Yelling "YOU'RE HOME! YOU'RE HOME!" In distorted voices
There are no girls on the internet silly, everyone knows this.
>Dream from last night
>Came home from work
>There's a redhead woman sleeping in my bed
>Flat chest, white tanktop, long enough to cover her panties
>Little nipslip
>Pretty hot honestly
>"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GET THE FUCK OUT"
>"I'm 25 years old"
>"WHAT DOES THAT MEAN GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE BEFORE I CALL THE COPS"
>Wake up pissed off because someone broke into my house
well that's just factually incorrect of them
The internet isn't real dude, relax.
Based and legally justifiedpilled
>It's a "dream about failing a test when you've graduated years ago"episode
If I don't have a dream tonight after thinking about dreams this much I'm gonna be fucking pissed
>on the brink of waking up from an incredibly distressing micro-nightmare
>eyelids stubbornly refuse to flick open, body still craves sleep and won't let me wake
>the same horrible thing instantly replays itself the second I settle back down into a deeper sleep
>this loop continues all fucking night
I think my dreams are more like quickly cycling through drowning in dark watery depths and then drowning in shallow water with a good view of the surface. My subconscious is a fucking torture chamber.
But if the internet isn't real how come the Bible says God created it? It doesn't make sense bro.
I have dreams where I keep skipping high school classes out of fear of being yelled at. (Ironically because I skipped classes)
I hate those dreams
>It's a "you have a virus on your computer and it's impossible to remove" episode
Because the world is a simulation, obviously.
>mfw dreams where i'm being chased are always fun to me despite how tense i feel while trying to escape
>almost never have problems running and hidding and manage to escape most of the times, with the dream ending as if it was a movie or a videogame stage
>they tend to happen in place i've been before while dreaming
>Monster is coming after you
>Try the Kamehameha
>It actually fucking works for once
>Obliterates it
>2 nights ago
>dream up some mix of home alone and evil within
>couple of people with me getting killed with power tool based traps like the saw movies but way more complicated and retarded
>find the guy who is responsible
>hes just two fucking guys wrapped together with barbed wire
>kills me with an angle grinder
>last night
>dream about driving my moms car into a lake
>remember sinking deep but holding my breath just long enough to escape
>surface and swim to shore
>end up at a house made of tentacles and eyeballs
>see a small child get taken by a fuckhuge tentacle
>last thing i remember before waking up is twisting a rat with my bare hands until it audibly popped
games to distract me from this feel?
does anyone still have "screamer dreams" from all those jump scares in the internet early days where you didn't know any better?
like you are on your computer and suddently you can feel it coming. you reach for the volume to cut if off but it's too late, every time
>dream where I'm being maimed or dying
I sleep (peacefully)
>dream where my computer is being damaged or stolen
REAL FUCKING NIGHTMARE HOURS
But the Sims is the simulation, are you telling me that we were the real Sims all along?
>it's the 'i yell and curse at people i love for no reason' dream
that fucking spooked me
Yeah, we're just the demo, dude.
Same, I love chase dreams and any dream with a lot of conflict because it's usually fun as hell to overcome. I don't have regular nightmares very often
I don't dream often but when I do its a story dream.
I had a reoccurring dream once about this group of post-apocalyptic survivors outrunning a group of desert raiders across the sand dunes. They take some casualties but quickly move on.
Then they spot in the distance a perfectly ordinary looking suburban American settlement much like one you'd see near Washington, with trees, perfectly kept buildings, and plenty water and people all happy.
Immediately without thinking everyone encourages the leader for then to check it out, despite both the leader and the second in command guy being incredibly wary and putting it off as a mirage or a trap, but they go anyway because they have too many sick and injured to not take the chance. (They won't survive more raids)
So they go to this place and immediately the friendly townsfolk crowd up around them, saying they need to talk to their leader Steven, he'll help them out with supplies and aid.
So they meet this guy, and he's this thin, clean shaven, and incredibly polite and sweet talking man with a soft high pitched voice. Everyone apart from the second in command take an immediate liking to him and Steven insists they stay as long as they like and takes the leader away for talks of future plans.
Then a few days pass without any incident. Things are calm almost too calm for second in command guy and he manages to rally up a party to investigate as he feels these settlers are way too oblivious to the outside world and too curious talking with them all.
So they head into the town hall, but get turned away, saying Steven and Leader are having a chat, but not to worry since they'll be done soon.
So they sneak in. And then they see them together. But Leader doesn't seem right. His posture is off, they shout out to him and he turns around, and he's all fucked up, with like pink blobs where his skin should be. He tells them to run quick. Then he disintegrates screaming as Steven pulls him into his body.
"Hi friends!"
my dreams are fuckin awful and once when i was a teenager it felt like i was in a dream for a week and when i woke up i was crying and freaking out
Mine typically take place in a school/mall or some sorta public venue. I can't remember any recent nightmares but some of my more memorable ones take place in a vehicle I have no control over.
>have a dream where I'm in my bed surrounded by ocean water with waves crashing into me
>monsters from my door with knives keep running towards me and I have to press a button to get them away
>make a fun whack-a-mole game out of it and laugh it off
>later that dream computer gets a virus
>start screaming and banging my table and wake up immediately after
No like this.
>read about how clocks and books get fucked up in dreams and how people use them to realize that they're dreaming
>dream is me and my class at the pool
>accidentally look at my watch
>38:81
>"oh wait this is a dream isn't it"
>experience a feeling comparable to being slapped on both ears at once
>proceed to murder my best friend and then the entire class in various ways to test it out
>after that try to fuck a girl I liked to make the most out of this situation
>alarm rings when I get near her
I remember being happy after waking up despite not getting to fuck her. I never had a dream like that again.
>You can't do anything except panic as it has locked out your mouse
>It starts playing strange, grotesque fetish porn with blaring audio
>Prompt boxes opening and closing everywhere
>someone is about to enter the room you're in
I had this dream once and I remember everything about it
One of my worst nightmares I'll never forget was when I was 5 or 6 yo.
>sitting in backseat of a car, parents driving us home from somewhere
>suddenly they're both just gone in a blink
>the car keeps driving itself and i can't loosen my belt, can't get away
>the world outside becomes a dark hellscape
>drive off a cliff into darkness
>We are a simulation and it's not even the official release
brb going to kill myself so the pain ends faster
>>It starts playing strange, grotesque fetish porn with blaring audio
so the nightmare part is that you wake up without being able to save it, right?
>its another mass shooting dream
>its another airplane crash dream
>its another i have to kill an attacker before they kill me dream
See you when you respawn, friend.
It's known as one of the most common dreams, and it symbolizes change.
>Dreamt I had my own loving family
>Me, my wife, two kids, one is an infant
>Day off so I cook breakfast for everyone
>Nice family breakfast together
>Wife leaves for work
>Daughter leaves for school
>Say goodbye from the doorway
>Go back inside
>Baby is giggling about baby stuff
>Life is good
>Wake up
>Still alone
>in a car with my sister
>"...this is a dream, isn't it."
>she tells me to stop talking
>wake up
That was a weird one.
in my dreams reading and such works but its like having reality bending dyslexia
i can read the same word 100 times and it will be completely different
>its a "you have an RAT virus on your computer and the guy controlling it talks to you and for some reason wants to be your friend" dream
>never get nightmares
>dreams always take me to surreal and cool places that I can remember fondly the next day
sure sucks to be mentally DAMAGED like some of you fags
My dreams are just regular things I've experienced mashed together oddly. Like last night I had a dream of me as a middle-schooler during gym class, only when I entered the changing room it was filled with shelves full of games from my local game store and nobody thought it was odd, everyone just dressed regularly and took a couple of games with them to home. It was kinda neat, I got a mint copy of Symphony of the Night for free.
you just lack depth retard
>can't even apply kill to self properly
That's it, i'm going into sleep mode forever, bye
>it's a "information is conveyed to you through pure knowledge rather than any audiovisual information" part
that's SO FUCKING COOL every time
>tfw my dreams are usually irl stuff but except that they're mostly amalgamations of various things that I saw or experienced in the past
>once in a while I get a dream where I get to fuck the most thickest lady like crazy and end up waking with a morning wood
My last dream that I had was going to some themepark and rode some rides with impossible construction, and I ended up losing my dental plates while riding some log flume ride without water and with corkscrew loops. I ended up shutting down the whole entire ride just to look for those plates.
My dreams are never usually scary but they're just weird and nonsensical that's difficult to explain.
I had this but not a dream it was weird shit, it was years ago on an older computer.
as they say:
cope
explain
>Realize I'm dreaming, but not quite 100% lucid yet
>Alright, I'll look at this book
>Title makes perfect sense
>Look at it a bit later
>Title is the same, no distortion
>Open it up
>Everything seems to make sense in the book
>Get real terrified wondering just how real my dreams have become
In my case they're just a blurry mess. I could only read some individual words after trying hard, but it didn't make any sense anyway.
like telepathy or a presense of a god?
ok baby mind brainlet you keep doing that in your safe space
>heh le smug reaction image, GOTTEM!
>fuck her
>sounds like a tortured seal elephant
>have a dream where my feet are so hairy that my feet can't be seen anymore
>start scratching them really hard and make the hair all go away
>start coughing up and choking on long strands and balls of hair
at least she's honest about it
sometimes you see visuals, right? Well sometimes the information just reveals itself to you without any visuals that you could derive it from.
Watching too much The Hobbit, dude
>like 14
>have dream that hot girl is giving blowjobs to everyone who wants them in school bathroom
>try to find her
>school is set up like some fucking mc escher painting
>finally find her after looking for what seems like hours
>shes about to put my cock in her mouth
>wake up
i exclusively see my teeth falling down from my mouth into my hands in my dreams. its always from my point of view as well. its like, i touch my teeth and they fall one by one.
i havent seen another dream for couple of years now, only this.
do you mean finding a solution?
or like its almost as if you have read the lore and stuff of the current situation?
"What the fuck did you do to him! Answer me" SiC aims his rifle to his face in frightened panic
"Oh don't worry. He's fine now. He's a part of Steven. And soon you'll all be a part of me. And we will all be so happy. No more death, no more hunger, no more worries! Join me" He has a big creepy grin as bits of clothing dissolve in his pink belly. Then the doors bang, and some other survivors knock the door down and they escape as all the townspeople are suddenly Steven and chase them.
They barricade themselves in a fancy house and throw a makeshift Molotov cocktail from the bar at the crowd which causes all the Stevens to freak out.
So they get a plan to torch the entire place. But as they do one of the survivors freaks out saying "You can't do that. That'll hurt Steven"
And then they are like, oh fuck. "Hi friends. Its already begun sillies. You'll be a part of me like your leader. Please don't fight me"
They quickly set the Steven on fire and launch him into the crowd, picking up wood and starting firesand smashing Stevens as they go, they make inhumans squeals as the fire takes them.
Then as they fight back and get the upper hand, the main Steven slowly walks down the street looking defeated
"You humans. You do it every time to me. Don't you understand why I came to this planet. Your beautiful suffering. It tastes so sweet. You dont need it. Don't you see I'm doing you all a favour. I want to take away your pain. I'm so lonely. Stay with me I'll forgive you all"
"Fuck off you alien freak" throw a canister of gas at him and shoot it with a shotgun and he explodes into splats.
With nothing left, the all laugh together and leave. Unsure of their future but they'll be damned if its an aliens lunch.
But as they drive off together, they eye each other suspiciously once the laughter stops.
"Hi friends"
"W-wait I'm fucking kidding man. Don't shoot me"
More nervous laughter that suddenly stops as they drive into the distance.
do dreams "mean" anything or are they just subconscious mind farts?
>motionless, poorly-lit humanoid figure looming at the foot of the bed
>its breathing is dry and ragged sounding
>it just stands there, laboriously sucking in air like it's the most indescribably painful thing ever
>it holds its breath and starts slowly leaning inwards
>its distorted face gets near enough to kiss me with its puckering DSLs
>I abruptly wake up gasping for air
SPOOKY BITCH, PLEASE LEAVE.
I've never seen The Hobbit. There was a scene in Raw where the protag throws up her hair. If I had the webm I'd post it because it was just like that. I have gotten hair stuck in my throat before too and it was awful.
now i want a platforming game about maneuvering through non euclidean space and the end goal being 5 bucky sucky sucky
no, you just KNOW information
if you watch a movie everything needs to be conveyed and then you figure out the knowledge based on what you're shown, here you just know certain things, like "this woman is my grandmother" or "I am 200 years old"
I've had dreams about my nails getting off instead. I hate those much more than the teeth dreams.
isnt that basically catherine?
My dreams are usually just ordinary events, but for some reason I hover everywhere instead of needing to walk. Nobody else floats in the dreams, its just me, and nobody ever points it out, like its just something that makes perfect sense to everyone.
The most recent dream I've had was of some type of giant, Godzilla-like monster that I can only recall most of the details to because I wrote it down after waking up from it. I've yet to have it again though the past few nights, although I do think I've had it before.
I was feeling incredibly depressed that night I went to bed, so I can't help but be curious by if it was supposed to have deeper meanings.
>a man nicknamed Santa whose purpose it was to protect an important delivery route trough scandinavia has been dead for many years
>some scandinavian viking type dude who lost his wife to the siege on the transport route tries to take over the job
>train is driving trough a gorge during a relentless blizzard while being assaulted by the terrorists
>while all this happens, an ancient voice tells about a legend of the afterlife where your soul will be put at test
>the guardian of limbo judges you to decide if you are worthy of entering the afterlife
>if you are not, your soul gets incinerated by him and ceases to exist
>makeshift santa gets shot down, failing to complete his task
>but you see his soul next to his wife, implying that he proved his spirit as worthy
>Down the line, i find myself in the limbo
>a world where a giant maze made out of sandstone moulded like waves of water exists
>the sun is always standing in a zenith with a clear blue sky
>to prove your soul, you have to escape the maze before the guardian catches you
>i run for my life, but the guardian catches up
>he looks like a 4 meter big sturdy dog with a copper mask of a human and two horns (similar to that Majoras Mask boss, just not mechanical)
>i try to run but feel the vortex of his flame breath engulfing me from behind
>instead of waking up, i turn around and face him directly instead of burning down and insult him for trying to incinerate my soul
>looks like my soul is worthy after all
>used to get a lot of different dreams, from nightmares and falling off a cliff to just chilling with my bros and pure fantasy land
>now I just dream about cute girls, sometimes the ones I know, doing stuff related to my fetishes and irrational shit like people pulling TVs out of their pockets or gravity getting reversed
What the fuck happened to me?
>i fall alseep with music playing from my headphones
>this same dream keeps popping up
>it's like a chunk of land in a red space with green bolts of lighting
>the sun looks like a red black hole and there are flying planes n shit phasing in and out with rocks floating
>the red sun pulses to my music
what the fuck dose this dream mean?
my last dream was me playing basketball with the cast of Houseki no Kuni
video games
>keep having dreams where I can't stop moving forwards and have to slam into objects to slow myself down
I keep having a dream I'm late for a class but I'm not sure which one, due to the rotating system my school used. It's always math.
i had a dream that i was yukari from persona 3 and i was fucking myself, but i could still feel my body so i was enjoying the feeling of getting fucked by myself and fucking yukari at the same time
I learned about that little detail from an episode of the Batman Animated Series.
I keep having the same dream over and over
>driving alone on a rural highway
>it's dark and raining heavily
>I'm the only person on the road
>occasionally pass abandoned buildings
>something happens that causes me to crash
>wake up
>had a dream that was nothing but flashing colors and an intense feeling
What the fuck
As a child mine was always an Anubis head descending down from the top bunk. Mouth full of blackened rotting teeth and flies. It would stare at me with whitened eyes, then it will simply say in an unearthly gravelly voice "You are Dead."
Then I would wake up.
>TFW your imagination is so strong in your dreams it can perfectly emulate time and words on pages, but its usually an alternate reality where you achieved something in life that was good or you're engaging in a romantic life you'll never have with somebody that never existed.
I used to before she cut her hair off and started wearing wigs
which came first, ranch or cool ranch?
I used to have a recurring dream. it wasn't very subtle and I hated having it because it would ruin my day.
I'd be back at the house I grew up in with my mother. she was mean to me so I'd try leaving, but I'd always be trapped some way. the rooms and method of trap would change, but the result was always the same.
obviously, I hated living with my mother in that house. I've lived away for a few years now and I cant remember the last dream I had, of ANYTHING. I hope to have normal dreams again soon
I used to have nightmares of getting a virus on my computer and having the mouse and keyboard locked out while they did things on their own. I don't know why those frightened me so much but I hope to put that kind of horror into a game some day
the last dream I remember was that I was talking to my friends and they all turned on me saying that they were just using me for fulfillment of their social needs and didn't actually enjoy their time with me, making fun of me behind my back, then they all ditched me.
>teeth shatters
>start chewing on them
felt a bit sick when i woke up, what an awful feeling
I become confused if i'm dreaming or not so i test it out and when manage to levitate i think "amazing i can fly in the real world, i knew it wasn't just in dreams". Happens to me regularly, am i dumb ?
Darkwood.
my dreams consist entirely of me staring at a mirror and screaming because i don't look like myself and i can't stop screaming or look away and my face won't move
When are we going to have dream recording technology? Is it soon?
Less of a nightmare, and more of a mildly annoying dream.
Mostly because i've had to deal with these types for viruses in the past that spread from file to file. My younger brother also does dodgy shit on his phone and PC and gets those infected way too often. He's autistic so he just doesn't understand how to browse safely, only to get what he wants.
No the truly terrifying computer dream I had was one where I was a kid watching Tenacious D's greatest song in the world on YouTube but where the devil is supposed to show up halfway through the song the video went black instead and it showed a weird Pentagram symbol and then it was like I was locked in place and could look away, suddenly the screen went black, then the room went black around my eyes as demonic and violent images rapidly flashed into my eyes with demonic growls and female screaming with a rumbling sound building u land up and up and up as the images flickered faster and faster.
And then I was back in the computer lab at school completely fine and I can move, and I freak out and then I run out of the door.
And then I wake up.
That's fucking hilarious
After I played The Void all day when I got it the first time I had this weird dream where I could see colours and shapes and patterns for all of my other senses
I had a dream that my family wasn't dysfunctional and broken apart, and me my mom, my dad, and my brother all went on a family vacation to Japan.
It was 3AM and we were looking for somewhere to go and we somehow decided on going to all night karaoke.
When we got there, there was some completely naked thicc hostess. Then she turned around and we saw she had huge balls and was actually a boy.
My dreams have always been silent, does that mean I'm retarded?
Does anybody else have multiple dreams in one sleep? I usually have like 4-5 entirely different scenarios play out. The last one I had went like this:
>in Japan with my brother
>in some store for something
>there's someone signing autographs
>get one signed despite not knowing who he is but assures us he's a voice actor
>walk outside
>we both realize we left our jackets in there
>turn around and start walking back
>little kid comes up and tells us to walk on other side of road
>cross over and walk past path diverting off main street with hedges
>kid tells us he and his mom saw a guy on the floor with his head cut off through there
>look back and realize everybody is frozen in place, including my brother
>keep walking forward
>there's a corpse of a guy with his phone to his head just lying on the floor
>walk around it
>wake up
It means you're trans-deaf
>be dreaming
>hear music in the background
>things i've never heard before
>sometimes i'm the one playing orginal tunes
>be awake
>have no talent for writing music
>haven't played an instrument for 10 years
Brain are you composing behind my back you fucker? Who told you you could do that, you could share at least.
>friends with a girl
>mostly a fuck buddy, but I think we're friends
>wake up from a most outlandish dream
>know I'll forget it
>frantically grasping for something to write down the details, all I have is my phone
>frantically text her the details of my dream
>she stops being my friend
so i should gouge out my ear drums and start collecting disability for it?
I tend to have a lot of violent dreams. I've choked out my teacher, a dog that was becoming a zombie(not sure what choking was gonna do there) and stabbed random people. Sometimes it's about beating the shit out of someone and then there's a good chance that my arms move like I'm in mud. Other times I need to shoot and often the trigger is so fucking hard to pull.
The dreams I don't care for are when I'm absolutely livid at a family member for some reason so I'm just yelling at them for the duration of the dream, and eventually wake up to just feel angry. I think this has to do with the fact I tend to keep quiet instead of confronting people about shit. Slowly but surely changing that though. Any other dreams are just fairly random occurrences. I enjoy all my dreams for the most part. If I have a nightmare, which doesn't happen often, I can usually pause the dream like a game and then quit which wakes me up.
A few years back I had one of those completely normal dreams where nothing at all is weird. I was chatting about some boring shit with some woman and she turns to me and says something like "you know, you're pretty handsome", at which point I go "oh, guess I'm dreaming then", and I immediately wake up. It always stuck with me because of how hilariously pathetic it is.
No, just say you don't have to conform to society's standards of deafness and complain about lack of representation in video games
it's worse
>manage to stop something bad from happening in a dream
>dream doubles back and makes the bad thing happen anyway
This gay shit happens so often
>starts wearing Nicotine patches
>dreams become fucking crazy
This thread has made me scared to go to sleep
>finally get a lucid dream
>everything's basic shapes and black and uncreative
>wake up right after i realize I can do dirty things
>Dreamin'
>Nothing scary just bizarre scenarios and conversations
>Try and type out a word on my phone
>The word is something as simple as 'somewhere' or something close to it, having absolutely no deeper meaning
>Stupid monkey brain can't use both the imagination side and the logic side at the same time
>Keep failing to type the word
>No real looming consequences, just ramping annoyance at myself for being unable to type the word
>Wake up feeling frustrated at myself for being unable to type the word
>Throughout the day you constantly second guess yourself when spelling extremely common words
Why
>When you beat the boss in gameplay but lose in the cutscene
>be me
>sleeping
>in my bed
>dreaming of sleeping in my bed
>not aware
>heart rate starts increasing for no reason
>whoa, guess I better calm down
>keeps increasing
>deep breaths, relax
>keeps increasing
>oh fuck is something wrong?
>keeps increasing
>what's going on??
>keeps increasing
>oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck
>heart beating so fast it becomes a tone
>welp I guess that's it
>fade to white
>wake up
>check pulse
>totally normal
>tfw can’t remember the last time I had a dream about sex
Worthless, piece of shit brain
If you stop fapping long enough, you'll have a dream where an anime girl touches you in the crotch and you bust a nut irl.
When does the dream start user?
You were supposed to become the little girl for lesbo sex, you’re doing it wrong user.
>keep having dreams about beating up evil-doers and saving cute girls
I had a dream about being the leader of an insurgency.
We were on a train in the woodlands, but the bad guys derailed the train and we got captured. I remember there were civvies there too.
I woke up (in the dream) in their base at the snowy peak of a mountain, and then I basically became JC3 Rico, but stealthier, and then less stealthy, fighting those quadrapedal robot tanks by grappling onto them and planting C4, freeing all my guerrilla troops and the civvies I was supposed to protect.
I managed to have this exact same dream two nights in a row. Never had it since though.
I'm always amazed at how much more intelligent and creative my subconscious is.
Getting drunk or high on a drug in a dream feels fucking weird. I had a dream where I took acid once
>be me
>in dream
>alone in room masturbating
>cum
>cum comes out of my dick and wont stop
>cum floods room up to my waist
>room flooded with my cum
>still cumming gallons
>the cum reaches the ceiling
>under the cum im holding my breath
>see mermaids from the mermaid hentai i was watching
>they force my mouth open and make me drown to death
>wake up
>pissed the bed
>like horror and monsters
>some of my favorite dreams from when I was a kid are nightmares
>brain knows I'd enjoy spooky nightmares too much to be seriously scared by them
>just puts my wife in danger and makes me unable to help her instead
oh
I have constant nightmares of my days of being bullied in high school
>lie on bed in my room
>the room itself is stretched out and pitch black
>can see the window to outside and silk curtains
>can feel cool wind
>got notification on the phone
>our city is getting nuked again
>realize my body is real fucking tired
>parents aren't coming to wake me up
>might as well accept it
>start hearing explosions
>curl up under the bedsheets
>[explosion intensifies]
>can feel the house vibrating
>"how long does it take it to reach me?"
>explodistan is having a holiday.mp3
>everything is shaking like a vlambeer game
>can't hear myself swearing
>wake up
>morning sun is shining into my room
>limbs are basically dead weight because i haven't slept properly for 2 days
My dreams are normally everyday stuff but with something strange about them. Like different architechture in places I know of people acting weirdly. Waking up from those is always confusing.
>spoiler
>HEY TIMMY IT'S TIME FOR THE WEEKLY NUKING, COME ON DOWN TO THE BUNKER
>its a bully fight dream again
>arms are soggy biscuits and legs are stuck in a quicksand
>just push my entire body on that fucker
>this somehow works and I fall on top of him
I finally beat the dream boss guys
>when you have better videogame dreams than videogames in real life
Especially Battlefield, I've had better Battlefield games and moments in my dreams than in real life.
I swear I would play a lot less vidya if I could lucid dream at will with ease, alas.
I've had these nightmares where I've somehow enrolled myself back in high school, and in the dream I'm failing out because of constantly skipping one of my courses. It's weird cause I actually graduated HS, but that did happen to me in college. I always wake up feeling very uncomfortable from those.
>All of my dreams are 100% lucid
>Dreams end up constantly end up about having sex with Minda, in dog form
>Haven't been laid in years
If it were knot for those dreams, I'd would surely have turned into an incel by now.
my dreams have been irreversibly fucked by italian horror movies. they occupy a whole separate category from my nightmares. my regular nightmares are all about faceless killers and going insane and mundane places turned violent. my italian horror dreams are about running through old grimy hotels full of rotten faced ghosts and then escaping into the woods which is now a jungle full of red skinned cannibals while a tiger eats me alive in some alternate narrative that is going on in parallel.
>running away from problems
Grow up, kid
My dreams of being back in high school just consists of me walking around through the halls.
>have a recurring dream where I can levitate by clenching my buttcheeks
>feels so real and natural that I try doing it the moment I wake up
what does it mean
My dreams are as bizarre as it gets, it genuinely makes no sense. Example:
>Go to the Zoo
>Feed a goat with some goat food
>Suddenly I'm teleported to some shop where I order a drink
>Reach into my pocket for my money
>For some reason it's full of goat food
>Goat food somehow ends up in my drink
>Drink it
>It tastes fucking disgusting, extremely weird sweet kind of taste
>Wake up
>living my normal adult life
>oh fuck I'm late for high school
>fuck there's a test
>fuck I can't find the right room
>wander around for 3 days looking for it in a giant maze cobbled together from all the schools I've ever been to
>run into that teacher I never liked
>unload on them what a cunt they are
>wake up angry
fuck you brain
that's pretty mundane for a dream, but it's fucking dumb I'll give you that
>mfw keep having dreams about raping hot anime girls like Darkness
>It feels real as fuck
My favorite kind of dreams.
>come up with some poetry in a dream
>can’t properly remember it when I wake up, just a few words
I picked this one because it's one of the dreams I remember the clearest. Sometimes I have some real bizarre shit where I teleport from one universe to the next with the most nonsensical shit going on. It's like that lsd simulator game except much weirder
Anyone else dreamed something and then had it happen IRL?
This just means you're not very proficient at logical thinking. Your brain is giving you information and instead of forming it into a cohesive narrative, it's all chaos.
That one dream when I banged your mom
my point is everyone has weird dreams. it's tough to convince anyone that your own dreams out-bizarre theirs. nonsensical abstract bullshit is the default.
makes me wish for dream recorders actually. it's impossible to really give a fuck when someone describes some long dream they had, but it'd be really interesting if you could see it for yourself.
>its a having sex with my mother dream again
Thanks for your baseless pseud analysis, mr logician
but that makes perfect sense with barely any abstraction
>you were at a zoo
>there is a goat, because it's a zoo
>feed the goat because that's what you do with goats at the zoo
>scene changes because food is now on your mind
>still have goat food in your pocket because you were feeding a goat at a zoo
>it ends up in your drink because you thought how gross it must taste and your brain immediately decided to investigate by 'trying' it
>that period of consciousness just before falling before sleep where you can actually notice your thoughts becoming increasingly more random, disjointed, and surreal
>getting jerked awake because you thought you heard someone call your name from very close to your ear
>waking up the instant you fall asleep because your entire body thinks its falling
>sleeping through your alarm clock because your dream cleverly integrated the noise into your current dream to avoid being woken
>trying to fall asleep but for some reason losing the ability to correctly perceive distance and size of your body parts and immediate surroundings
Sleep is fucking weird, man.
Not my fault you're dumb.
Your opinion isn't worth anything, internet psychologist.
>sleeping through your alarm clock
You need a harsher alarm. If your phone has it, use the classic loud, repetitive buzzing alarm. Nobody sleeps through that shit.
You seem upset.
Here's a good one
>it's raining
>if i get under something it ceases to exit
>car, bus station, 5-story building
>anything will have a fucking nothing for a ceiling
>from which you can see night sky with water dripping on your head
No, I usually have dreams where I just hang out in places I know with people I liked, past friends, family, you know, always makes me sad since I no longer hang out with them
>incessant pounding noise
>THUMP THUMP THUMP
>what the fuck is that
>look outside
>all the other houses have these huge pneumatic thumping mechanisms on their roofs
>THUMP THUMP THUMP
>what the fuck are those
>it's a conspiracy, they all got set up in the night
>what the fuck is going on here, it's inescapable
>I'll never be able to sleep again
>wake up
>it's just my brother making shitty techno in his room
Would've been funnier if he was playing RE2
No, I dreamt about giant crabs that tried to kill me
I wish. My weirdest dream was where I was in some old ass hotel that also looked like castlevania from the outside. The elevator didn't work and for some reason my dog was with me and we were both running up the stairs and then we got to some random floor and then my mom suddenly came out of an elevator. It was so bizarre. My most recent one was where I was in a hotel with my manager (i had a thing for her) and I was showering and then she joined me and we didn't do anything weird or sexual, but for some reason someone shouted that cops were about to raid our hotel room for drugs so we both hopped outta the shower and hid our pot somewhere. The cops didn't find the goods and then my dream ended. I have no clue what any of it means
it means your time is coming to an end druggie
count the seconds
squares, conveyor belts and power outages
fucking factorio
>tfw pressing F12 in my dream whenever cool things happen constantly just like when playing vidya
>only there is no dream screenshots folder to browse when i wake up
Sad feel
I was expecting a Yume Nikki thread, no one cares about your boring normalfag gay dreams.
Everyone dreams, user. It's just a matter of remembering. Things like keeping a dream log or taking Vitamin B6 can help
There's nothing more tedious than listening to somebody else describe their dreams. Everybody knows this, but some people still insist on describing their own as though they're exceptional.
I'd rather be killed than do jail time.
you wont die
The last dream I can remember involved me getting on a subway car and riding it for a while before it got teleported to some weird nightmare dimension. I was hunkered down in the car because there was some massive bipedal deer thing without any skin walking around the outside of the tram (if you've ever read Soil, think of the horse except walking on 2 legs) giving some creepy monologue about the pleasures of the flesh. I can't remember exactly what happened after that but I recall escaping from the car somehow and being chased.
I've noticed that in some of my more recent dreams that things always slowly degenerate into weirder and weirder situations until I finally realize "oh, I'm dreaming," and then immediately wake up after, which is annoying because after that point it becomes almost impossible for me to remember what else happened in the dream before that. I remember waking up and wanting to remember the dream somehow but by the time I can record it I can't ever remember what I had been dreaming about, and from what dreams I can remember I've had some really odd dreams that I want to catalogue.
ITS ETERNAL >:D
>happy dream accidentally wake up can’t go back to sleep
>dream were spiders are literally crawling out my asshole and dancing on it while stabbing it with the little whatevers
>wake up
>ahhhhhhhits over few
>fall back asleep now they are crawling out my eyes and mouth can’t wake up for some reason
Fuck the brain
i haven't dreamed in years and it worries me
I have lucid dreams fairly often so usually I find myself in my home town or my primary school, jump up and never fall down. I just kinda float around and focus on not waking up. Sometimes I get horny during the dreams and will someone hot into existence but in the end floating and gliding around is better as it doesn't break the dreams as easily so I stick to that most of the time.
half my dreams are about all my teeth falling out and the other half are about me having a GF so i wake up lonely and miserable
fuck dreams
ranc-
>Does anybody else have multiple dreams in one sleep?
Yeah that's normal, however most people only remember the last dream that takes place before they wake up.
What's the best way to remember dreams that I liked
Should I just have a notebook next to my bed that I can write a few sentences on what I remember whenever I wake up from a really vivid dream
>every time I have sex in a dream its always with my sister, my mother or my step-mom
voice recording is better
i find it hard to write shit down and it not being complete nonsense that soon after waking up
I tend to have odd dreams that I find rather amusing.
Last night I dreamed that I was a public lavatory architect, and I designed and constructed deceptive lavatories in a country where befouling public property was a crime punished by execution. For example, all of the loos were plant pots and water features, the actual loos were 'drawers' beneath the sinks, which you pulled out to get an angled loo.
The basins were not basins, the taps dispensed different colognes, instead there were hand washers that looked like crevices in the walls, which sprayed your hands with soap and water, and then dried them.
The urinals were bidets. And there were no real urinals.
he's right. your dreams spell out pretty clearly that you're a fucking retard, sorry.
Can we stop blogging about our own dreams and talk about how SHIT of a "game" Yume Nikki is?
>just walking around these boring ass "surreal" wastelands, "duuuuuude thats sooo trippy", it's like the indie game equivalent of listening to fucking Tool
>despite everyone in the fanbase saying that it's best experienced blind without looking anything up, the only notable events in the game are so fucking cryptic that probably only one or two people have actually discovered them on their own
>"you have to go to this specific wall and theres a 1/10 chance that it will have a different texture and then you have to stab it"
>to get the ending you have to place all of the items on the floor of the main room, there is literally no way you can figure this out on your own, even if you were bored as fuck there is no reason to drop items
>"duuuude I can totally relate because I'm so depressed lmao, i hate high school"
Also I have dreams where my mom kills me like once a week
Honestly, yeah. Whenever I'm Lucid the immediate area around me looks "normal", but everything past a certain point is just weird abstract bullshit. Normally my dreams never reach the weird shit.
Had a dream the other night where I fell in love with a vidya character and woke up realizing how fucking depressing that is.
Trannies aren’t women
>Had a dream the other night where I fell in love with a vidya character and woke up realizing how fucking depressing that is.
What character, though? That's the important part.
>just woke up from a dream and saw this thread
I was at my house playing Tetris 99 with friends, but I kept losing, so I locked myself in my room and became suicidal. This is right before I woke up in my room with nobody there. God, that's unsettling.
God I wish that was me
im scandinavian so i use snus
last night i dreamt that my front teeth changed texture to some trippy lsd type weird cracks and it freaked me out.
thanks for reading.
Tom Nook.
It was the most vulnerable and loved I've felt in years, and it was from a fucking cartoonish raccoon-thing. The worst part was the first thing I thought when I woke up was "I want him back". I'm not even a fucking furfag, I swear.
Why do you have so many nightmares, Anons?
>it’s a dream where u dream about going to bed and having a dream where in the dream u become tiered and decide to go to bed
It only happened a few times but it’s really weird
Last dream I had that took place in highschool was a dude peeing into my mouth but they had a bag over there head and were wearing a morph suit with a hole cut out for the dick
Oh. I remember reading your post from the other dream thread yesterday.
I'm an adult so my dreams are usually
a) a manifestation of all my real-world fears and anxieties (losing my job, getting robbed, being hit by a large vehicle, etc)
b) non existant
I usually have dreams about playing video games or listening to music
I hate to admit this but I have had few videos game dreams and always wake up confused because they were of games I use to play but way different usually allt more fun decide to go on it one time remember what’s its actually like never want to go on it again
>getting married by the river in town
>my dad shows up and i kick him out and force him to crawl across the highway to leave
>all the guests get mad and throw me into the river and I see a spooky ghost lady approaching me as i sink
>wake up and there is a white ghost lady in a wedding dress floating above and parallel to me staring at me and i cant move
or
>endless loop of waking up and seeing black figures standing over me, being able to move a little more each time, eventually being able to get out of bed and open my door to see 3 black figures standing over my roommate in his bed and unable to yell to warn him.
>that period of consciousness just before falling before sleep where you can actually notice your thoughts becoming increasingly more random, disjointed, and surreal
I love how sometimes you can realize that your memory is suddenly shortened to an instant. You think something, then something else and if you try to remember what that first thing mere seconds ago was, you can't.
I rarely remember my dreams but this night was an exception
>living with two other guys in a dank apartment
>we find a passage though a broken brick wall
>it leads to a Victorian-style mansion
>we explore and decide to rob the place
>the night before the job I call my dad using the other guy's phone, which I know will make him angry
>we get up and enter the mansion
>as we're about to nick stuff, they both look at me like they want to kill me
>a familiar, yet unknown song plays
>one of them says something like ''run away then''
>wake up to my alarm
The bit about my dad makes sense, since I'm meeting him soon but my family hates him. Weird shit.
Ur brain really wants goats
U have u just don’t remember them
>tell myself to snap out of it and remember that I'll be in a dream before sleeping
>my dream self actually keeps repeating that he can't snap out of it because he's not in a dream
Nah my dreams usually involve sexual shit nowadays
>dream were u have to run for some reason unable to move ur body at all everyone yelling at u for not moving every time different reason like u running away from from something or whatever end up getting caught everytime as soon as I’m about to die in dream automatically wakeup
>Wake up
>Something isn't right
>I can't move
>Can't even lift my eyelids
>Ohno.jpg
>Realise what's going on
>It's sleep paralysis
>Notice that there's something solid, roughly human sized, spooning me from behind
>Feel its weight like its real
>My body is slowly sinking into the mass behind me, like quicksand
>Overwhelmed with dread, as if the creature behind me was radiating evil.
>It's whispering incoherent shit into my ear as I sink deeper and deeper
>It triggers the primal fear you feel when cornered by a wild predator, fight or flight instinct kicks in but you can do neither due to the paralysis
>I've read too many greentexts to let this go on any longer
>Focus all my willpower into a single finger and try moving it
>It barely flinches after 5 seconds, but it's enough
>The thing behind me instantaneously poofs out of existence
>Too afraid to turn around and check my surroundings for the next 10 minutes.
had a dream where i got raped by jeff goldblum in some bizzare gothic childrens library once
My dreams take place in a few set locations. my schools, my grandmas house, and kmart. they make zero sense though. my dreams rarely have a coherent story to them
Fuk I want that dream but with k k slider
Damn I was hoping this would be a Yume Nikki thread
I can't stop thinking about it. Send help.
I hate that too. When I get super tired I start getting that same feeling while I'm awake, and I always end up punching in the air as hard as I can just to reaffirm that my bones and muscles haven't suddenly turned to jello. I'm sure it looks super autistic but it is comforting in those moments.
>a dream thread on Yea Forums
God its been a while since we’ve had one if these. They’re alway so interesting.
Any nightmares I have don’t scare me anymore. Reason being is because I’m viewing them from the third person (ie looking through someone else’s eyes). Whenever I have a good one I normally just write down what happens.
Most recent one I had was about the adventures of some high school drop out working as a bartender at some strip club in a shopping mall when zombies start attacking.
Do those galantamine and choline pills really help you lucid dream? Also, how does sex feel during those? My dreams are never EVER vivid enough to feel any textures or anything, so it's hard to believe a dream would be indistinguishable from real life. How do I fix this anons, please help.
>I'm not even a fucking furfag, I swear.
You are now.
Idk about the pills but the Calea Zachatechi tea didn't work for me. It's also the most disgusting tea I've ever drank. Dumping like 10 full spoons of sugar into it didn't do SHIT, the natives who drink it call it bitter grass for a reason.
I saw a dream where I was attending a party with various acquaintances from work. The doorbell rang and when I went to answer the door a set of just legs and a lower body entered with a tray resting on top of it filled with champagne glasses. The legs explained that it was called "The Legs" and was very popular with women. I realized I was the only male there, and then I didn't have pants and it was very embarrassing.
Sex feels great but sex dreams suck. A lot of times I wake up just as the fun starts, and if I don't then when i cum in the dream i cum in real life and that not only wakes me up but causes me to have to get out of bed and clean up, which is dumb.
Basically I'd rather dream about fun stuff and leave the sex fantasies for jacking off.
Lose job, then when staring at the pink slip, you are hit by a bus. A crowd of onlookers rush over to you, then go through your pockets.
That's not a dream, it's living in Detroit.
>i cum in real life and that not only wakes me up but causes me to have to get out of bed and clean up
I'm willing to take that risk if it means I can live out my strange, impossible fantasies.
>21 years oldd
>still fucking dream about school
STOP
FUCKING STOP IT'S NOT FUCKING FUNNY FUCK OFF IT'S BEEN YEARS FUCK THAT PLACE AND FUCK EVERYONE IN THERE.
>21 years old
I'm 30 and still get those.
yeah, kind of washed out but i see some cool landscapes from time to time
i fly around, go super saiyan, kick the shit out of ghosts, make pacts with demons, that sort of thing
I'm 25 and I still dream about school but I liked that time so it's a good thing. The building is different every time but still familiar, and I always recognize it.
i take quetiapine to help me fall asleep (was taking it to help me get unaddicted from benzos)
these are some based ass dreams, it's like a second life in there. it's great.
give us details
tell us where the tanuki touched you
mostly dreams of waiting on people in semi trainstation like places.
revisiting non-existing streets and roads in my neighbourhood that i've been dreaming of for well over a decade.
finding a stairway that goes down 20+ floors at the groundfloor of some sort of public library.
Sometimes when I'm lucky I dream about giant fish or aquatic beasts or some halfcocked version of flight.
mostly it's waiting and urban unease.
>tfw lucid dreamer
>never have bad dreams or nightmares anymore since I can recognize that it's a dream almost immediately and change it to my desired outcome instead
Now what used to be nightmares are like watching a cool horror movie where I get to slaughter the monster instead of the other way around, or just completely dominate any other sort of bad dream scenario
Shits cash y'all should try it
>y'all should try it
How
I don't have nightmares anyway, and bad dreams are rare but still interesting.
I dunno I just developed it naturally
Didn't even make a dream journal or anything
Not the other anime, but just keep a constant thought but lie still and don't attempt it when you're tired. You're gonna feel the urge to scratch or move, just don't and think of something as simple as sitting up. Once you get the hang of it, it'll be easier
>tfw reliving your mom's final moments before her death from cancer in your dreams
>tfw you managed to supress the memory of how her final moans of death sounded, yet you can hear them clearly in your dreams
Stop it, dreams!
I want to lucid dream so badly but I'm such a fucking lazy faggot and can't put in the discipline and effort for even a week straight of doing techniques before I lose motivation and then have to start trying/researching all over again next month. I've spent more time fantasizing about all the things I could do in lucid dreams and reading about them than actually trying to have them myself cause I'm so undisciplined.
Godamn why did lucid dreaming have to be so random, why do we even have this ability? The few lucid dreams I've had (5 or 8) were brief but amazing, I just wish we could effortlessly have them. Those who lucid dream naturally since childhood are the luckiest motherfuckers.
I still remember this one WILD I had years ago that formed instantly around me, finding myself on a deserted highway in the city after rainfall, city lights in the distance, yellow street lamps illuminating the wet rain soaked pavement and puddles below, I could see the cracks in the asphalt and the light scattering on its rough surface, all this in just a few seconds as I panicked and forced myself out of it cause it was so incredibly real, and then immediately regretted it soon as I woke up.
God why can't it be easy
I'm always too absorbed in my dreams to realize it's a dream. I've also never had any nightmares (that I can remember) besides the ones where I fall for 3 seconds and wake up.
No, my dreams are about myself living where I do now, but that house is always in a different area with significantly different environments.
Like one of them was outside of a mega city that constantly shifted and the other was just a few miles away from a cliff overlooking a beach even though I live inland. I'm starting to think I have some kind of psychic link to me's from other universes.
Whats worse is that they're all doing significantly better than I am.
No, mine are really mundane. It’s stupid how normal they are, I wish it was more exciting since real life gets old pun intended
>not the other anime
I had sleep paralysis for the first time last year.
I was trying to get to force myself to get to sleep, I don't remember why but it was difficult. I think I had to get up early the next day or something. finally, it felt like I was nodding off. suddenly my consciousness started crossfading between my barely-still-processing-reality drifting-off delirious irl perception of reality and this hallway next to an open stairwell, just like pic related. there wasn't a light at the end of the hallway or anything like that, if anything, I think it might've been darker at the end of the hallway. but I guess I knew that the end of the hallway was "being asleep" ...like, how far down the hallway I was represented how asleep I was. I was walking down the hallway, but then when I got the stairwell, I saw this hulking monstrous black mass, huddled over something on the ground. at first it did not notice me, as it was busy doing whatever it was doing with whatever was on the ground "at its 'feet,'" so I slowly, cautiously, crept around it on the left side of the scene in pic related.
at first this seemed to work and I seemed to remain unnoticed by the monstrous creature/entity/whatever-it-was. passing by it, I could now see that its shape was vaguely, VAGUELY humanoid, and it had thick, powerful arms and legs. it had seemed black from a distance, but now that I was closer I realized it was IMPOSSIBLY black, blacker than black, like a void, a hole in the fabric of spacetime.
(ctd.)
I was about to pass the stairwell completely and continue safely down the hallway without alerting the void demon, when suddenly, in sheer terror, I realized that the nature of this hallway was not as I had previously thought. I don't know if the hallway was a creation of the creature, an extension of it, or if the hallway-to-sleep was really that and the void demon had merely tricked me somehow, but... I realized the further I walked down the hallway, the further my body was being immersed into the void demon itself. like, my vision quickly flipped between the hallway scene, and an alternate version of the hallway scene where the void demon was turned to face me instead of looming over whatever it was previously looming over, and I was being engulfed by void tendrils emerging from its chest and pulling me into the void demon. I realized that what I thought was drifting off to sleep was actually me falling into the demon's trap and it was enveloping my entire body with its nonexistence. like, the first hallway scene was false, I wasn't creeping past the demon, I had actually been walking right into it the whole time. upon realizing this, I fought back, but it was getting hard to breathe and I felt like I had lost, the demon had successfully rerouted my path to sleep into certain, permanent doom.
I woke with a start--I was sweating intensely all over my entire body, and my lungs felt like I just came up from air after being underwater for too long. every joint in my body felt like it had just been unlocked after having been frozen in the same pose for hours. I checked the clock; it was only about 20-30 minutes after I had laid down to go to sleep. I've never been so terrified in my entire life. I never have nightmares that cause actual complete sheer horror like this, or anything even remotely on this scale. I never have since either.
this was a literal demon that I encountered on my way to sleep in my state of heightened brain activity and DMT whatever
Hmm, alright. Should my eyes be closed here? My mind races, so WILD has been difficult for me. Drop me some hot tips, man.
>was down near rock bottom a few years back and spent most of the day in escapism mode and slept as much as I could squeeze in that at one point I did in my dreams stepped through the front door 20 years ago to look out the attic window and see trees that were and buildings that weren't.
And when I came to disappointed in my bed there was a little voice in the back of my head telling me there should be a way to make it permanent.
You really start grasping at anything stupid when you get down in the dumps going full Celephaïs.
fucking love the dreamcycle stories
Its rape day.
Shit like this makes me appreciate the time we live in. There's enough technology to provide comfort but there's still a shit ton of questions as old as humanity that remain unanswered, dreams and consciousness and all that crap being one of the bigger mysteries.
Like what the fuck did user's brain mean by this? Why did the big black monster tried to tentacle vore him? Was it really just user's brain that imagined things?
my dreams either involve me being naked or getting chased by something in places i barely remember being as a child
Last night it was an old harbor with a merry-go-round and food stands and fair like games, i was having fun there when i was hit with the realisation that i had been there before then suddenly something jumped and started running at me
Funny thing is that i still have vague memories of the place
Blogpost incoming.
My most favorite dreams are where I get to explore some sort of bizarre, fantastical dreamworld that's running with monsters and other kinds of threats, but only within closed and limited environments—one could say that they take place in coherent levels instead of big wide open worlds. Having once been a fan of Soulsborne games on an autistic level likely contributed to having these dreams (despite that, I'm not the least bit excited for Sekiro, but that's another story entirely). I always feel like I'm controlling a character, for some reason, and almost always in third person. When enemies approach, I feel threatened and try to get away, but not as much as I should if I were the person in the dream. Like I can try dying over and over again and eventually get it "right."
The ones that have stuck to me the most are these.
>a shallow, knee-deep and extremely large lake of blood (though it had the consistency of jelly), littered with islands of salt, from the salt rose extremely tall (about 15 feet tall) knight-like beings with thin limbs who simply wandered around in circles and never became aggressive until I got right under their face
>a giant, well-lit and pristine cathedral with a more fully-mapped interior than the Cathedral of the Deep; still fully staffed with titanic greatsword-wielding knights in solid golden armor backed up by priests and clergymen
>a massive bridge in the sky that extended for miles from end to end, at the end of which was either a castle or a tower or a cathedral, and to the sides of which were nothing but clouds; wandering angel-like beings flew around and attacked from afar, some descending at breakneck speeds sword or spear-first towards me to make their assault

I've been reading about stuff recently trying to make sense of it. this thread opened my eyes to a lot twitter.com
(whoops first link should have been twitter.com
>walking along a beach
>decide to go swimming
>the ocean is shallow as shit
>its more like a very large puddle
>half inch of water and pebbles for as far as the eye can see
>look down
>theres a psp in the water
>it doesn't work
I had this when I was 12 years old
>Never have any dreams
>Then suddenly couple of years ago start having dreams every single night, all of them are bizarre as fuck but I never feel scared even if something scary happens in them, remember them almost completly once I wake up
>After like 2 months of this return to having no dreams still to this day
What did my brain mean by this?
I once had a dream that cut to youtube's website and played a video of Sakurai revealing the newest character that'll be in Smash. He starts off saying the charavter got around 1000+ votes in the ballot and was the number one pick. He then says it's his pleasure to announce Uncle Grandpa. Then it cuts to Yea Forums exploding with threads flabbergasted to all hell, and then some user who keeps on posting Uncle Grandpa saying "He's In" flipped off on the anons saying it would never happen, and that they should have listened.
One time I had sex with Mado in a dream. It was pretty good.

I don't get these "dream" games full of surreal places and silly monsters. My dreams are more about normal objects and situations behaving in weird ways. Lik multiple people being equivalent to one (like my mother appearing as both my mother and my sister and the same dream), or one object having multiple identities (like a key that is also a cellphone or something like that).
>dream is just a jump cut from when i go to sleep and the next morning
>literally nothingness
>like closing your eyes
>real dreams are rare and have a 50% chance of being a nightmare abount some "black void" chasin me
>maybe the missing dreams are when the void get me
>a horrific little tunnel area encased in ice that I always had to pass through in order to go to a certain other area. Aggressive and extremely agile undead broke out of the ice walls whenever you got to certain points and chased you throughout the area. These undead were completely immortal and only continued to regenerate until you got to the end of the tunnel and sealed the door so they can't get out.
>a series of aqueducts lit in dark green, like a nightmarish version of the Depths. I don't remember this "sewer" level having that many enemies, only small lizards that acted like basilisks except they only needed to look at me to petrify me. These aqueducts eventually lead to a massive reservoir imprisoning the still-active corpse of a Cthulhu-esque "god" creature suspended in chains, which was apparently the "boss" of the level (few of these exploration dreams have actual bosses, they always end right at the enemies).
>A badly-lit, dilapidated library complex that was located in a valley. I remember loving this dream because the enemies were just the right difficulty, they always came in large numbers and the environment always changed between the lightless interior and the torchlit exterior of the valley outside. The library areas were full of puzzles, while the valley "transitioning" areas were more standard gauntlets. I think I passed through 3 libraries and 4 transitions in a whole before the dream came to an abrupt end.
>A demonic castle made of dark red brick suspended in a deep purple void (or perhaps the sky, in the very middle of a thundercloud), that arced with lightning between its many towers. The castle's structure was non-Euclidean and traversing it did not follow gravity—the halls wound up, down, even left and right, and exploring was exterior was even more surreal. Portals connected the castle with other parts of it. Despite being apparently lightning-aspected, the enemies here mostly consisted of floating fire sprites.

>>like closing your eyes
I had a night like that once years ago. Felt like I just blinked and suddenly it was morning.
No
I don't have dreams
Dear lord that's incredible.
I had a dream where I was eating spaghetti and my shitty underwear
>dreaming
>my nose bleeds for no reason
>it's burning like hell
>drop and lie on the floor and it don't stops
>wake up
I had this two times in my whole life. I dream a lot since I did my diary.
>either i dont remember dreams or i keep having the same repeated nightmares over and over
One of the most terrifying dreams I ever had was Wh40k themed. The bizarre thing is that the terror didn't subside for a long time after I woke up. My heart was pounding for a good 10 minutes while I tried to calm myself down.
Anyway this is how it went
>be some kind of Imperial agent
>Inquisition sends me to investigate a possible Tyranid cult on some world
>I know I'm some kind of disposable asset because apparently I fucked up something before
>I am 100% sure that if I chicken out or otherwise fail my mission and survive I will be executed (and probably tortured) by the Inquisition
>Follow a lead to some hidden and very extensive cave system
>I am creeping through these tunnels for hours
>Actually see Tyranids and hybrids patrolling and manage to evade them, but get hopelessly lost in the process
>I have no idea where I am in the cave system and my only available escape is cut off by patrols
>Forced to go deeper
>My mind is totally dominated by fear at this point
>Feel like a cornered animal
>Know that the Nids will melt me down and eat me
>Know that the Inquisition will execute me if I fuck up somehow
>Wake up
My heart was slamming in my chest so hard that I legitimately thought I was having a heart attack or something. As I said earlier I had to take a long time to remind myself that there are no Nids or Inquisition and I wasn't going to die.
>Keep having these dreams where I need to solve a mystery at a mansion, office, town etc.
>Always ends with me getting to the person who is about to be killed
>I can't convince them ever that their life is in danger
>EVERY FUCKING TIME the person who is about to be kill either dies or IS the fucking killer
>Killer is always a fucking spooky nightmare creature who is mimicking
>Always wake up either after the person dies or I see the nightmare creature
This has been happening for about a week, and 2 nights ago I finally fucking solved it and I stopped having the dream
>On a tropical island with a mansion
>know that there is a creature killing people on it
>talk to like 5 people about it, everyone doesn't know jack
>Finally somehow figure out that the owner of the mansion is going to be killed
>Get to his office on the second floor
>he has fucking dementia
>As I try to escape with him to buy more time, I turn around to the doorway and the nightmare creature is there
>I stand up and face it, because this version of me had balls
>As it walks towards me, I make the split second decision to jump out the window with the mansion owner
>I wake up after we escape
I swear to god if I get that dream again I'm going to bash the monster's head in with my bare fists
>become lucid
>have no idea what to do
>just sit there and do nothing till it's over
>Had a dream about a trap in sexy lingerie trying to get me to fuck that boipussy.
I blame this place and the faggotry around here
happened to me except it wasn't a dream
>a city surrounding a temple, overrun by a cult. This was my least favorite area because it was apparently accessed relatively early in the "playthrough" (around the same time as one can visit No-Man's Wharf in DS2), and the enemies here were unnaturally strong for the level I was at. There were cultist enemies that transformed into hard-hitting silver-scaled "demons" who had an unnerving tendency to ambush the player, either by crashing through walls, kicking down doors or jumping down from high above.
>The last dream I had in this "genre" was in a city overrun with demons, set on the cliffs of a magma-filled valley. This was apparently an endgame area, as the enemies here consisted of nothing but minibosses. They included roaming giants made of corpses, masses of leeches in the shape of succubi, rotund "gravekeeper" enemies that dual wielded huge butcher knives, thin and lanky mantis-legged demons, and towering titans that roamed the magma valley that had millions of HP and acted more like stage hazards.
There are more that I can remember, but not well enough that I can condense them into a post. I don't get these sorts of dreams very often anymore. They're either boring, uncomfortable, so good to be true I realize it mid-dream, or like says it, just a jump cut from night to morning.
i sometimes study in my dreams so they can be helpful
Fly nigga
it doesn't happen because i expect it to happen
fuck this
I don't believe that dreams really "mean" much but they are a reflection of things that you have been thinking about recently. The way I see it is that the details are largely unimportant and it's the overall theme/feelings that matter.
I frequently have dreams where I struggle to do something and fail no matter what I do. The subject of the dreams may change but the outcome and the frustration/despair is the same. I know that is just a reflection of my anxiety and pessimism IRL.
If I try doing anything when I’m lucid in the dream I’ll immediately wake up.
If I sit there doing nothing, at least I can think while sleeping.
My lucid dream power is always really low. Like, I know I'm dreaming and can think, but I have an extremely hard time manipulating my surroundings. I usually just fuck with what I'm dreaming or try to have sex with the nearest living creature.
>play dead by daylight before bed
>I'm Myers in the dream
>I DROP MY KNIFE AND CANT FIND IT
Had a fever dream where i was on the train from Snowpiercer, but instead of snow, it was sand. Once a year the train would do this loop so it was possible to get off the train and run in a straight line across and catch the train as it turned back on itself.
I was about to enter the race when I woke up.
Last dream I had was about me fucking two girls at once. One white one black. They where stacked on eachother in a double decker doggystyle. I ate the white girl out while I fucked the black one. Shit was cash.
Based
That would be a cool movie.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Lucid dreaming is 100000x better than VR so why, why, must it be so difficult to actually have regularly and consistently
No, my dreams are usually mundane where i, my girlfriend and a few friends hang out and do fun stuff
and then i wake up to find i have no gf or friends
Recently I've been mistakenly bringing dreams into reality. One time I woke up and asked my sister where the fuck "Carl" is and I need to get my boat I lent him and she probably thought I went crazy.
I remember one from when I was 4
>1 inch tall
>on a fishing boat in the middle of the ocean
>the dentist from Finding Nemo shows up and picks me up
>I’m yelling but not in my own voice
>he dangles me from his thumb and index finger and gives me a smug grin
>drops me into the ocean and starts laughing his ass off
>body starts melting, but as it’s melting it’s also transforming into hot dog relish
>”body” gets sucked into a drainage pipe
>wake up screaming
I usually remember 3 maybe 4
>that one dream that lets you play command and conquer at supcom scale of things
>that one dream that lets you experience EYE 2
>that one dream that lets you come back in time
>that one dream that throws you into everlasting golden tunnels made of fractals
>that one dream that goes full junji ito on your waifu
>that one dream that shows you how your waifu turns into bones before your eyes and has you gather the remains while crying your eyes out
>that one dream that lets you see her and she says "You don't need to recreate me in your dreams, I'm always with you"
Man the last dream I had, my teeth started falling out. Then I realized that said teeth were ridiculously large and inhuman, but I kept trying to shove them back into my mouth anyways. Fuck dream logic.
In my dreams I visit places I've generally never seen before that summed to the fact I'm not bound by the normal laws of reality or physics, the times I get to visit the same places I've seen before is because it's a continuation of a dream I've had before even if I had forgotten about them, like watching the next episode in Netflix, just that you're the character in the story. Also, sometimes U turn into other stuff like a furry a dragon or a pony :3
No, i'm not a NPC, and virtual world are not my reality nor my dream reality.
NPC are defined for not having higher thoughts, afraid your say that you admiting having no dreams means you were an NPC all along
>have job where I have to climb on roofs all day
>dream almost every night of me falling from an extreme height
>only wake up after I hit the ground every time
>also have dreams of my job going home with me
>have numerous dreams of going home and seeing ceiling tiles all over my house, and my boss yelling at me to get back to work
>only wake up to those when I realize "work can't follow me home like this... r-right?"
I think my job is making me crazy. Funny thing is I don't even hate it, but the dreams are killing me.
My dreams are not a virtual-game-like LSD trip melted NPC brain reality. If you have dreams like this, well, that's just sad.
So, we could say at some point during your dream you had a weiner shoved in between right?
near indefinitely taking your clothes off and on again in a public space cause you can't seem to wear them properly is a milder variant of the same theme.
Apart from Morrowind what other games make a bit of use of dreams?
My dreams are the most boring crap ever. It's like my actual life "extended", meaning: I do IT/job-related stuff and I'm always worried about something. Nothing bizarre happens in them. It's always work-related.
If anyone has a quick tip on how to make my dreams only slightly more interesting... please share.
Expand your range of experiences.
Good decision man, fighting the monster in your nightmares bravely to show them who's boss will normally always work. The nightmare is the one who must be afraid to be spotted.
I haven't woken up from this one yet.
Do hallucinogens a bunch of times.
Quit job.
Experiences, huh?
My life was always just basically home-school-home, and now home-job-home. Never took drugs, never went to parties, never had sex. I have a few friends but we rarely see each other, as they live in another city.
My hobbies include messing with Linux/programming (which is also part of my job), drawing, the usual weeb crap and recently reading about occultism (despite not being a practitioner).
I don't dislike it...
this, most of the time everyones dreams are an extention of their day but if you visit the next town over or go see a play( not a movie) then you will be stimulated and your mind will most likely concoct something new.
Played a multiplayer game with a ton of friends a while back for the first time in ages and I dreamt up something way more cinematic and engaging that usual.
For some reason I read that as "Explain your range of experiences" instead of "expand" and made a pretty useless post here
The dreams I hate the most are the ones where you're trying to grasp/reach something but you never reach it.
My dreams are almost never extensions of my day, through whole last month of dreaming only 1 dream was revolving around my job. I dream multiple a night.
>barely get dreams
>whenever I do after I wake up I forget them inmediatly
damn even my dreams are fucking shit
>tfw you have the 'bryan cranston stabs you multiple times when you get out of the car' dream again
Practice writing whatever you can remember about those dreams as soon as you wake up, this way your mind will let you remember more and more about your dreams until you can remember every detail of them
Nah, something more like opening a door and entering in another room or place and rarely I dream of a long war between pop culture characters and that side of the world that wants them dead with the pop culture characters winning with success
>Those dreams where you try to punch someone and you realize you have the speed mobility and strength of 2 year old.
>It's a "brakes stop working on the highway" dream
Travel more, when was the last time you went somewhere far away for fun?
For the last 15 years, all of my dreams have had at least one of the following:
>using public transport
>theme parks
>going back to high school
>getting lost on my way somewhere, usually going back home
What does this mean?
January, actually. I always visit my grandparents on vacations.
>going back to high school
>getting lost on my way somewhere, usually going back home
>Implying having fantastical dreams are like drug induced allucinations.
If you've never experienced a dream in a life like way where the fantasy elements are indistinguishable from the real stuff you experience irl due to your brain allowing you to experience them as such then I'm the one who feels sorry for you.
Nice on you for doing that, but I mean somewhere new user. Somewhere outside your common environments.
>Not mind controlling your way to your destiny on dream car
Maybe when I was 8 or 9.
I'm 22 now.
You too, user?
I just had a dream that I was playing with a 2-year old. It was a happy time. I guess my brain is telling me to go make a kid.
I keep having the same shitty dreams where i just hang out in locations I've been to but the locations are differents.
And then i have dreams of places i never been to, but they usually come back and they too are different. Sometime i strike gold by having a weird as fuck dream but i keep lingering away from my own control over them. Fuck that.
And when i finally control my dreams, they usually end up in pure lewd instead of letting my creativity peak up. EVERY TIME I'M ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING GOOD WITH MY DREAM POWERS A GIRL COMES AROUND AND I FUCK HER
There it is, book a trip to somewhere interesting, with your family, with a few friends or even alone. It doesn't even need to be too far away, just do something you have not done before that you think you might like, anything to break the mold of routine.
>take your average shitty woman
>now make her deaf on top of it
No thank you.
You could also be neglecting your inner child user. Maybe suppressing interest or ways of life you would like to experience. Are you making your 7 year old you proud?
>my old grey cat comes to visit me in my dream
>really happy for some reason as this is normal right?
>wake up and realize he's been gone for years
;_;
A-anyone else gets their balls squeezed super hard in their dreams? Haha, cuz that happens to this guy i know and he is desperate to know if anyone else experiences this.
I had a dream yesterday that i was being chased round a dark, underground maze by what looked like the zombie dudes from deadly premonition. Felt physically tired when i woke up like i had actually been running all night
Tell him to spread his legs
>smoke DMT
>become little girl flying in the cosmos for 15 minutes
I had a dream that a short 5`2 brunette with modest breasts and a fat ass wearing tight yoga pants led me into a room and bent over and looked me right in the eyes. She told me to come close and as soon as I was about to grab her hips I fuckin woke up.
I grew up in a absolutely horrible neighborhood with shit parents so most of my dreams involve people breaking in and killing me over mundane shit
I hope you say "Hector-san..." when waking up, while you're looking at the face of your cat appearing on the sky through the window.
I had a dream last night that Ben Shapiro was circumcising me.
>do shrooms
>get lost in 6d maze for 20 minutes of peak and then roll through loopholes of my logic for 4 hours until I arrive at wishing I had physics doctorate
If I knew drugs would make me want to have more knowledge I'd seek them out before finishing high school. Now I'm stuck with shitty grades from high school and unable to enroll in university, and retaking exams takes time.
Made me mad just reading that.
me
Except I study at oxford, I guarantee it smarter than you. Whatever you need to convince yourself you aren’t a brainlet
>remember who you are, user
