WW2 RPG's?

Why are there no open world RPG's that take place on the German perspective of World War 2?

Because Nazis can't make good games.

How the fuck would a WW2 RPG even work?

I don't know about that, finding jews is a pretty entertaining game, it's like hide and seek..

I was thinking of a Witcher 3 appeal to war taking place where you can walk the front line during a cease fire against France.

>ww2 games
was ten years of them not enough?

>open world RPG's
can you fucking read

99% of them were dog shit.

>Shoot enemy soldier in head
>Soldier stops wipes hand on chest
>Looks at hand covered in blood
>Collapses

Y'know what's a perspective we literally never see?

Japan's.

I was in favor of you just making a charterer with a system a bit like ES5's where you can pick races and they have there up's and down's and so on

>Nazi game
>races
>they have advantages and disadvantages
I see what you did there.

Literally incorrect. I can think of a few strategy games and flight simulators where you can play as Japan.

First person shooter ala brothers in arms mixed with grand strategy elements and a branching story.
I have this videogame concept where you play as an ss captain and you go trough the war, and at the end of the war you're judged at nuremberg trials and the sentence is based on the actions you did during the game.
Hopefully some game dev will se my post and realize it.

>Windows flight simulator
Hmp

I meant something more direct and personal

Interesting concept.

GSG is the only genre where you can be a bad goy.

Silent Storm?

The Saboteur but an RPG?

Oh, didn't see the German part

You mean a campaign-based first person shooter. Just like every other Yea Forums user that talks about WW2 games in a generic sense.

I hate the Far Cry games but I really want a WW2 Far Cry.

It's always incredible that people use their own ignorance as a metric for anything other than their own ignorance.

>starting an RPG knowing that there are only bad ends

What is life.

You should check out Commandos:Strike Force, it's a "bad" Commandos game, but whilst it isn't open world, it certainly explores the possibilities of a sandboxy behind enemy lines WW2 FPS.

Actually amazing idea
the majority of gamers will be full blown Nazis though

>was ten years of them not enough?
90% of them is "MURICA FUCK YEAH" happening in 5% of the war
Burgers completely destroyed the WWII setting
