ITT little things in games that make you happy
>Can hear the muffled rain when in doors.
>There's a food cycle in the game where it rots after a while
>There's a chocolate bar item
>after a while it melts and coates all the fruits near it in your inventory, boosting the healing capabilities of it
You better not be shitstirring me and tell me game right now
Boktai 2 onwards user
May the sun be with you
>you dance/sing
>Your squad joins you
>You can go through the whole game with melee weapons without taking damage
>The game rewards you for playing at close range

the different surfaces they land on
Much obliged user
>useless class/job/party member is extremely useful and/or busted later on if you invest on it
best example i can say is the Jester from Darkest Dungeon, weak attacks, weak bleeds, barely useful buffs until you hit level 5 or so and all of a sudden he's rocking out with uncontested stat buffs and bleeding most enemies out with two swipes
Also I suggest playing the first one if you can, it has some story stuff that 2 only scratches but you still kinda get the gist of it
>dialogue changes depending on what you do and when you did them in the story.
>boss makes comments about you not using the new powers you just recently got.
>look down
>see legs
>neroallsmiles.jpg
>passive effect that makes it so you have a chance of recasting magic a turn
>it can proc on itself
>X casted Meteor!X casted Meteor!X casted Meteor!X casted Meteor!X casted Meteor!X casted Meteor!X casted Meteor!X casted Meteor!
>Devs put in unlisted things to do for people who are trying to take their time and enjoy the game without running through everything
>You can pet/feed animals on the streets
>street performers/shows you can just walk up and see
>sound design good enough to enjoy walking around in the mud/rain and looking at things
>level design good enough to enjoy just walking around looking at things
>can recruit monster allies on top of the human allies
>even metal slimes
>they retain their busted defense stat
>you can kick everyone on the shins
>you can pick fights with everyone
>you can recruit everyone kinda
>Funny flavour text to items
>Sometimes said flavour text seems like just a joke but can be taken as a hint for the player to try out eventually and it actually works
>thanks for playing!
especially after a good game
>double jump
>char does a somersault or flip
this, even if it's just useless stuff
i spent hours just reading the random descriptions on trophies in melee as a kid, or the random descriptions in we
>you can get Battlecards from previous games through Illegal data
>that feel when you subvert an OP enemy into an ally using some kind of method available in the game
For example:
>steals heavy tank that's been making your life hell and uses it to slaughter enemy base
>boards and captures OP enemy ship and uses it to destroy other enemy ships, even better with a small boarding party from a tiny shitty ship
>"And a special thanks to you, the player!"
>you get to name the dogs
>get title for naming all the dogs
>you can break an enemy's resolve and convince them that you are stronger than the Big Bad, making them join you
>the higher ups in the big bad army are love interests
>You have mini-games spread around the world
>Completely optional but they're fun time waster that gives you good shit
>Game has a pet system
