RATS RATS
WE ARE THE RATS

why has no recent games tried to recreate this feel?

Rising Storm 2 had a christmas event map where you played as tiny green army men in a living room.

Trying to remember an awp only map. It was a big long map(lengthwise) with a green grassy floor, spawn points were at opposite ends, and no cover / camping zones. It was also set at night. It was fun trying to dodge headshots, rush each other and cover your teammates. Anyone?

that's pretty cool actually

There's one

1.6 SOUL

If any old CS/Source players are here, do you remember a map that had an objective to get the VIP to the helicopter? My memory is real fuzzy but it might've been a map/custom mission mod that chose one player randomly each round as the VIP and your team had to protect them. You won by getting to the heli or by killing all attackers on thr other team.
Only other details I recall is the VIP only had a handgun and flak jacket and there was a certain corner of the map where you could stack jump and sometimes clip through the floor to quickly get to the 2nd floor as you made your exit.

Why aren't there more games that take advantage of the miniature player in a normal world concept. Every single time it's implemented in a game it's the best part of that game.

as_oilrig?
that was like the most popular VIP map.

Those are assassination maps (as_ prefix). Probably as_oilrig.

if dust2 is your favorite map, your mom's a hoe

well i don't see why you needed to bring that fact into this matter but i respect your antipathy

shame this game has hardly any players, its pretty fun

Oh shit THANKS! That's the exact one. Had some fun times playing that back in 2006 maybe.
