Dorf blacksmith that happens to be a paladin, will probably use him for tanking maybe, but primarily i'm going to hang out either in the forge or out mining.
Might give free shit to other blacksmiths once i get a big stockpile going.
Secondary character will be a dorf hunter parked in wetlands patrolling the road so that there aren't too many knife earred retard corpses trashing up the place, will probably level him first simply due to the early days huge population explosion.

Nah they didn’t really get good until after bwl, before that their dps was pretty meh, not horrible but just not great. They really ramped up end of vanilla and became absolute wrecking balls only behind fire mages but have way more cc and are much more tanky. Great for bg’s and wpvp.
I'm gonna go Pally for the easy raid slots and to heal in bgs. Yes, they're a slog to level, but they're not that much worse than any other class.
My question is what professions do I get? The more I look back on it, blacksmith just isn't worth it in vanilla.

Blacksmith is fine, high-end recipes are frequently asked, also you can craft other useful stuff needed in almost every single prof, you can rip off enchanterfags pretty good.

Paladin's, Shaman's and Warlocks were the least happy of all class players.
Not everyone has been playing vanilla pservers for the past 4 years and will be raiding MC on day 1. There will be casuals and they will find other casuals and play whatever they want.
Me and my old WoW friend used to joke about how we never seen dwarf rogues or female dwarves (we were horde).
Whenever we did spot a female dwarf rogue we'd kill them and screenshot their corpse and show each other in Xfire to prove it.
I think we probably saw about 4 total on our server.

Blacksmithing is only worth it if you’re the guilds dedicated black smith. Otherwise engineering + 1 gathering. And you really don’t want to bother with enchanting unless you know you get prio on the +30 spell power and + 55 healing enchantments. Get those and you are swimming in gold.

Or rather, i tried it a couple times and just didnt enjoy myself.
Doing the occasional dungeon if i'm in the area and people are looking for a tank will be enough for me.

I’ve done a bit of paladin tanking while it is easy to play, you will find that you have very little ability to fix a bad pull when something goes wrong.
It’s good enough to get through most dungeons but it’s more of a play and pray style where you just have to hope things go well rather actively fixing mistakes.
