Ninja Gaiden 2 which is exclusive to the 360. The PS3 got a trash ass port that removed the blood and made the game much easier which ruined the entire point

I just want an HD remake or remaster of black, 2, and razors edge. They're all very fun games, and very challenging but rewarding, and are my favorite character action games. I just could never get into dmc like I could ninja Gaiden. Ng2 being my favorite.

I would also love a ng4 but with Niohs success I truly doubt they'll make ng4 any time soon since Nioh 2 is already announced and being made. And if they haven't already announced a ng1-re remaster, I doubt that will happen either.

Nioh is a great game and I can forsee 2 being awesome as well, but desu I'd rather have a ng4

DMCfag here. Haven’t gotten around to playing NG yet (picked up the first one, but never got around to it, then heard about Black and decided to pick that up in the future but never bothered), but I hope you guys get a new game someday and it’s every bit as great as you hope.

Sadly it will be shit unless Itagaki returns or Nioh team grows a clue about how to do a NG game.

See how DOA6 turned out, franchise sliding increasingly further into irrelevance after Itagaki left.

Pretty good. I don't see why people think the series is hopelessly dormant or something. NG3 was a bit of a flop, but the NG name in general still possesses a lot of appeal and recognition. Razor's Edge and Yaiba weren't even that long ago; they just sucked enough that it makes it feel like Ninja Gaiden hasn't been around.

Me neither. I got into God of War and Ninja Gaiden years ago, and still like them, but I'm playing through the DMC games now (currently on Mission 9 of DMC3) and my feelings are sort of mixed. I'm enjoying them, but I definitely prefer NG's priorities.

Have you played Bayonetta? I'm not a big fan of dmc even though I played and enjoyed both dmc3 and 4, but I fell in love with bayo when I learnt about dodge offset.

Bayo is similar to ninja gaiden in that it tries to make its enemies as aggressive as possible.

If I remember correctly they are weak to wind path. Jumping on them interrupts them and gives you a small opening to get in at least a couple of hits or a small combo like XXY.

I believe nu-Team Ninja could make a decent NG game if they tried
3/RE is complete garbage, but still a better game than DMC2
I would rather they persue new IPs like Nioh because they only seem to make NG and DoA worse without Itagaki
I mean I still think 6 is a decent game, but we've fallen pretty far

at this point, I can take it or leave it, but an HD collection of sorts would be nice
I know it won't include Black and vanilla II, but I can dream...

It's not the question if they can, after Nioh i'm sure they can do Ninja Gaiden properly. It's more if they want to, because I doubt NG would be as profitable as Nioh is.

Indeed, Nioh proved to be quite successful. There are ~600 people right now playing the game on Steam, which is pretty impressive considering the game's age.

Can't help but wonder how successful a Ninja Gaiden HD trilogy could be today, and it will be interesting to see how many players DMC5 attracts.

I garuntee you it will happen. Niohs success was huge for them. Of course, its not happening until after Nioh 2 at earliest. They might make a Nioh 3 too but after that NG would come. They wouldn't go 4 straight Nioh games. I lke both series so I'm good.

I just hate the enemy designs so much, some are fine but a lot of them are such a pain in the ass to fight. And I'm not sure if you're being serious with your second question or not, but no DMD isn't a joke mode. It was easier than 3's DMD (more frustrating though since 4 has more bullshit imo) but Heaven and Hell is the 1 hit KO mode.

Most of what I’ve seen people hate on riding because it’s not a “traditional” type action game and it’s babbys first action game.
