Me. The only truly bad Yoshi platformer was Topsy-Turvy.

Imagine sex with a Yoshi haha

Its gonna be a piss-easy game but Hey! we're nintendo fans, we love easy.

I played the demo and I honestly don't know how you don't find it boring. There was zero challenge, you just shoot at stuff until collectables pop up, and it was slow as fuck. Not to mention the stupid idea of playing an empty level TWICE to collect everything. The art style is neat and the background interaction with the eggs is fun, but that's pretty much everything good I can say about it.

Also people comparing this to Yoshi's Island are retarded as fuck: at this point they basically ditched the fast platforms and established Yoshi as the slow, friendly version of 2D Mario.

>we love easy

It just kind of bothers me that they’re basically retconning Baby Bowser, now he’s just Bowser Jr

The demo was fun, but I don't really want to pay $60 for it.

I loved Wooly World but I'm probably going to wait for more impressions on this once it's out.

It's literally the first stage of the game. Of course it's going to be incredibly easy. They should have included two more stages from later in the game though.

>plays slower than Woolly World
Why

I just want a fucking Yoshi's Story 2. Is that so much to ask?

Meant for

>but the one difficulty setting in a side mode that isn't part of the main game
Arenas are never a good way to defend a Kirby game's overall lack of difficulty
even worse when people on Yea Forums actually had to use three allies and amiibo support to beat the fucking thing

fuck off
I think going back is just a speedrun to find the poochies and also yea I can see how someone could find it boring but I actually thought it was comfy to find collectibles and explore the level

Remember when you could set the whole game's difficulty to soul melter and it magically got good level design and enemies that posed a threat for the duration of the journey? I don't either.

This pretty much is Yoshi's Story, but with bland music

>Yoshi's Story 2
>storybook aesthetic
>sluggish egg aiming
>Yoshi voice clips
>flutter jump kills all momentum
That's Woolly World and Crafted World.

Yo.

Looks like theres a shit ton of stuff to collect, so it should last a good while.

Yeah but it’s not about fruit collecting, it’s just another “get to the end of the level” platformer. And you can’t make it actually a challenge by doing melon runs

This. And it looks too easy.

I'll be honest, I completely forgot Yoshi's Story had the 30 fruit thing. I suppose an objective like that would allow you to make it slightly more challenging.

Yeah the fruit thing in and of itself wasn’t that challenging, but there was also exactly 30 melons on each level that could be permanently missed if you weren’t careful so the real challenge was in the all-melon runs

I liked TT.
YNI is objectively the worst Yoshi game.

This.

If it's not Yoshi's Island then why the need to use the same fucking collectables over and over again?
I played the demo and it was cute but that part seriously pissed me off, why not change this for once? I actually think that with the focus on "exploration" they should have gone with an approach closer to Yoshi Story this time with 30 or so collectible things you have to find in order to beat the level.
