I'm in the market for a new mouse and keyboard. What should I be looking for? Anyone have some recs?

Nothing special, I guess. My current mouse is just left click, right click, wheel and middle clich. What do people even use all those extra buttons for?

$2 inland mouse and keyboard
works great

2 buttons for universal forward/back commands and one button for enter are the bare minimum I need on a mouse.

I can absolutely understand a forward and back, but I just looked at and the g403 has 6 buttons.

For a cheap keyboard, get a Logitech K120. Best budget keyboard out there.

Can bind the extra buttons for games or use it as macros for general desktop use.

8 and 6 are used for switching modes in honeyview.

The KB&M in your picture are very small and not accurate. It's a waste of money.

G600 and never look back. Keyboard: whatever, there are a million decent mechanical keyboards and even then I don't find them particularly better than standard ones

I bought a g413 recently and kind of regret it. A metallic echo when typing and being unable to save the LED settings in logitech's program are both pretty annoying problems.
