I've heard the gyro aiming is suprisingly accurate once you get used to it, far more than the old shitty joystick. Never tried it myself though, but I can see how it can work well.

on N64, it doesn't work. turok 2 has basically no autoaim and it makes trying to get headshots with the precision guns a fucking nightmare
