Even if you get him aquitted, he doesn't automatically love you. I've done both sides of the trial and never gotten him as my beloved because I never buy shit from him.

i was a faggot and looked up the best shields on the wiki, and that way i learned that he becomes your beloved if you resurrect him

He speaks respectfully of her beforehand in the Duke's castle, he has nothing against her. That fight was about chasing her away from her delusions of knighthood since she was inevitably going to get herself killed.
Julien is a boyscout and probably a virgin, he pulled the Night's Champion schtick because the decadence of the Duke's court disgusted him so much.

You can get pretty much anyone who isn't Edmun, Dragonforged or your pawn. Feste wasn't that common, but those that were unlucky to get him on their plays mostly did due to escort missions.

>actually have stuff in the world to do rather than it being fuckin empty; more villages, npcs, quests that arent just "kill X amount of Y"
>make fast travel a thing from the start, no more ferrystones
>more dungeons like BBI
>fix the romance system or just remove it
>hire a better writer

I got him due to my ignorance. I didn't knew that game will force me in romance with one I had highest affinity with. I wanted to do my first play only to see how the game will end and I did quests only when I needed cash. So, I wasn't exactly building up affection with that many. I did Feste escort mission as last before facing Grigori and Feste appeared, much to my confusion.

Her shop is almost always available post-Dragon. If you don't trigger her last quest, shes in the Gran Soren field. If you complete it, shes in the inn in Cassardis. The only time its ever gone is if you trigger the quest but don't finish it.

This guy is kind of under the radar but he did some fucking amazing challenge runs of the game, made me get into doing them as well.

There's more than enough quests that aren't the notice board "kill x number of y", and even a handful of the notice board quests are unique, like killing the Hydra.
The problem is half the sidequests are in places you don't have any real reason to visit more than once and unless you know the stages of the world that will make new side quests available, you'll just miss them.

In fact by the time you're level 200 you're already going to effortlessly one-shot everything regardless of your stat spread. Its not the weakest and certainly not the least usable, both of those titles still goes to either mage or warrior and warrior isn't even that bad as much as its gimped.

On my first playthrough I did some sidequests like the Grimoire (loved the continuity in the Griffon quest) and Chasing Shadows, but right now I'm skipping most of them for the sake of getting through NG+ and into Bitterblack afterwards. What are some sidequests worth doing? I saw that Witch Hunt seems to be pretty significant.

Also I'll probably start my third run as a Mage/Sorceror so I have enough Magick to try Magick Archer, but I'll save that for after I do Bitterblack for a while since I hear it's busted. I'm gonna attempt to Warrior run it even though in my NG+ I'm mostly leveling Yellow vocations.

If you had a functioning brain you wouldn't care about stats either because you're never going to end up with a character that is too cripplingly shit at everything that you won't be able to finish the game with them or not make every encounter boringly easy by the time you're in the 100s There is no PVP. There's barely end game content and none of it is hard enough to require min-maxing of any sort. Its not the weakest because it still has more options than other classes. The difference between a sorc nuking a chimera in 3 seconds and a MK pelting it with discoballs in 6 doesn't make MK bad or worse than sorc when they play completely differently from each other and are fun in different ways.

Different user, but I think she's a very likable character because of her sorry lot in life. Literally everybody around her doesn't respect her enough to even tell her that she's in over her head, and simply allow her to think she's helping elsewhere out of harm's way. Julien telling it to her straight and insulting her was actually the most respect anybody other than the Arisen gives her in the game, as it's what gives her the reality check nobody cared to.

I admire her want to be skilled and useful in spite of nobody helping her to be. She's not a waifu so to speak (besides being brown and having a cute fake French accent), but she's one of my favorite female characters in games.
