BO2 > BO1
not baiting

MASON

WHAT ARE THE FUCKING NUMBERS

Ye.

Attached: non_prime_vs_prime_warframe.jpg (636x452, 39K)

good bait

Yes black ops is a legitimately good game even if you don’t like cod. mw1 is a close 2nd

Good bait honestly

Blops > Blops 3 > Blops 2

no

Zombies is literally kino

BO1 is the last time I actually gave a shit about zombies
how did they manage to fuck up 2/3 zombies so much

People shit on these games as normie fodder, but BO1 is a legitimately excellent game.

The main menu is one of the best ever made

Nah I’d say BO2 was the last good one
Everything after it was a complete fucking mess

kino is good
ascension is good
call of the dead is meh
shangri la is meh
moon had potential but falls flat
also the stories becomes dogshit after bo1

I know there was a scandal between IW and Activision followed by all the talanted people leaving the studio. But what the fuck went wrong at Treyarch? Why is the quality of their games is steadily decreasing?

you’re only just now noticing?

No, I've noticed at 2011 when BO2 came out. It was decent overwall and I've still spent hundreds of hours in the multiplayer, but it was a huge stepdown from BO1 imo

>2012*

they're not allowed to make original games anymore they have to copy everything that other games are doing because activision keeps thinking cod is going to die soon but it never does.

it got way too wacky and fantasy
there's literal magic in that shit now
literally should not have been like that
bo2 ww1 zombie map was extreme limit, and then bo3 broke every rules and said "let's gooo" and had fucking dragon and all

>expecting the most profitable franchise to die soon
>refusing to take any measures to salvage it gaining even more playerbase and just accepting fate with full-blown apathy

>cod has been dying since ghosts and iw
>scrap bo4 campaign for meme royale game mode as last ditch effort
>completely sell out and add microtransactions
>it's dead jim
>sweating activision businessman looks over at the wall
>sign says "in case of falling profits break glass"

im disappointed they didnt continue this
youtube.com/watch?v=ZiJBsOxpeLY&ab_channel=cinnabon7354

they took the infinite warfare memeing too seriously. and they're hell bent on keeping the dead weight campaign modes so they have (((cinematic))) bullshots for the trailers. they're unironically too stupid to realize that if they just gave us what we wanted (meaning more or less the same game every couple of years) we would be their eternal slaves.

For the story:
Treyarch used to hire big Hollywood types like Gary Oldman and had the writer of the Nolan batman movies work on the story, but then they got full of themselves and decided to handle the story themselves. The story became a contrived mess.

Level designers at Treyarch used to be involved with the design process from start to finish. But now they segment the workload and outsource so much shit it just looks like factory made garbage. They have a new lighting engine and because of that they got lazy with their art assets, rarely utilizing PBR textures. Other CoD studios like Sledgehammer and raven put out amazing looking games but Treyarch looks like plastic because they're hardly giving a fuck and use albedo tinted color maps with grunge decals on top and call it a day.

I really enjoyed the game. Story, Multiplayer, and Zombies. It was a whole lot of fun.
My favorite campaign mission: probably Payback, (the one with the Russian Roulette intro)
Multiplayer: either Jungle or Firing Range
Zombies: Kino Der Toten or Der Riese. You could get some massive trains going if you had a good team.

Attached: jungle.jpg (600x315, 82K)

>not mentioning Five
Five is GOAT

Black ops 4 also introduced so much fucking changes out of no where.

>longer time to kill

>self heal mechanics

>guns have a fixed recoil pattern

>guns aren’t hitscan

The changes in Bo4 aren’t bad but they are honestly just odd.

Khe Sanh was the best singleplayer mission
Firing Range, Jungle and the prison map is the best MP

Also is it just me or does Treyarch always act likevtge edgy developers? Thier games always have gore

Array and Summit were the best maps. Fight me.

Attached: Summit_BO.jpg (1024x768, 288K)

Khe Sanh is a fun and intense mission.

Treyarch are fucking overrated even in BO1

All the guns in BO1 had the same stats and sometimes even sounded the same. Fuck they shared the same iron sights too

Array is fun when you get the Chopper Gunner killstreak, then proceed to erase the entire enemy team. That one hallway in Summit was an extreme killzone.

>here’s your iron sight bro

Attached: DDD93C2A-3BCF-4D86-98CE-95BA2BC55371.png (180x198, 44K)

tiny and inconsequential
the variety for guns were large though
you couldn't honestly say the AUG, the starting enfield gun and the german space gun felt the same

The variety of guns was large since they are were the same

That was only on the prototype weapons like the G11, AUG and Famas. The rest are unique.

I actually like the changes in Black Ops 4 is the best cod to date for me. Maybe the hero characters are dumb but I don’t mind.

>call of the dead is meh
fite me nigga

One in the chamber array was some fun stuff.
The greatest zombie map

None of that shit exists in the early '60s.

MW2 was the last good CoD campaign. I wonder if the remaster will keep No Russian in.

There was also another set of shared iron sights

>the variety of guns was large
>90% full auto with little recoil
>statt differences barely noticeable when playing
granted that this is the case for most CoDs.

What’s the Yea Forumserdict

Is it the new Ghosts of the series?

>feel like playing bo4 mp again
>go to reinstall
>70 fucking GB
Why couldn't they split mp, br and zombies up in three separate downloads?

Attached: 1286807046626.jpg (780x589, 64K)

Call of the dead was changed last minute to have those B movie celebs and George Romero. Activision even put an NDA and embargo on ALL concept art for that map so you can't find out. George was originally the engineer from the boar that crashed and you played as people stored on pods in the boat. You can even see the pods on the front of the ship near the Semtex grenade wallbuy.

Source: my brother worked at Treyarch

Based changes that I feel like they won’t add back in any cod

Specialists ruin multiplayer it would be the next BO2 without them

Black ops 4 is hated but it doesn’t have ghosts level hate

It existed as prototypes. The Famas as it was in BO1 has never existed outside of sneakret SOG missions

>mfw unironically gagging for a good cod to come out again
>know it won't happen until cod becomes market leader in fps again and stops riding its own coattails
>know MW4 will be ruined because Activision
>he fell for the WW2 meme
>last one I actually enjoyed was MW2

Attached: 1521310684824.jpg (736x509, 62K)

>ghosts level of hate
The MP in that game is generally loved but Infinite Warfare was hated into oblivion

I think that Black Ops 2 was the last truly good one.

I don't know that, but it got the best SP campaign in series.

Whats frustrating is that Infinite Warfare is the only good CoD SP this gen, but because of the negative blacklash we probably won't get anything like it since people only care about multiplayer and zombies.

>cowadoody
>good

The last VERY good one. I still had fun with blops 2 and the campaign was well done, but it wasnt on that 4/black ops-tier

>But Advanced movement bad!!!!!!!!

Fuck the cod community

>milsim or CSGO drone enters the thread
Sorry you're too much of a brainlet to appreciate good story and arena shooters.

You're peeving my inner /k/ommando, user.

It's a wacky war movie made by the guy who wrote the plane scene from the dark knight rises. Fuck off with your pedantry

Was this the worst gun in Multiplayer?

Attached: g11.jpg (550x308, 43K)

>the MP in that game is generally loved
No it wasn't. Everyone hated the mp since the low ttk and map design promoted camping.

They should off the series with a greatest hits game, two of the most popular maps from each game along with two of the most popular weapons from each category from each game.
Sell it for $20 and make people happy.

Attached: 1454583728371.jpg (554x390, 62K)

Can't believe I missed this but you're absolutely right.

Actually a solid call of duty

this is the worst gun even in real life

can you explain more?

If this were to happen (it never will) which two maps and guns would you want from each game?

Advanced Warfare was the first good COD since MW2. Everything in between, and after, is shit

I'm not the guy you're replying to, but I want to respond. I'll say for the maps: Jungle and Array, and guns:
Python-Speedloader
CZ75

AK74
Skorpion

Galil
Commando

SPAS-12
Stakeout

Stoner 63

L96A1
WA2000

China Lake
M72 LAW

Ballistic Knife
Tomahawk

It was definitely the best of the boost jumping games. Shame that most console players refused to learn how to aim up and down and while moving.

>that main menu and how it was incoporated into the canpaign

truly kino

Yes it was and Ghosts was honestly the last CoD I've actually had fun with, everything after that was complete dogshit.

My list so far is BO2 > AW > IW > BO3 > BO4 > WW2 > Ghosts as far as the last few titles go. BO4 could be great but poor execution, specialists need to gtfo before anything.

Specialists actually provide shit to game better than nade spam
