You don't have to know shit about TTS, you just need to know one boardgame that isn't fucking monopoly and then you offer to teach some randoms. It's a tight community so you can usually make lots of friends that way and then some of them will offer to teach you new games and then you're home free

Regarding Ark, I mainly played with a few irl buddies on a pretty unpopulated server before they implemented that cross-server shit or whatever, so we didnt really run into any chinese.

I tried playing Warframe recently after hearing so much good stuff about it and after getting in the mood for a loot shooter. I just couldn't get into it. What's the appeal of it, honestly? I wouldn't even call it a loot shooter since you don't really loot anything, just materials to make stuff of value. Like there has to be that element of random loot to keep me going, I guess, with such a repetitive gameplay loop, but Warframe doesn't have that.

I started with dominion, catan, and carcassonne, then learned blood rage and played a ton of that which got me addicted to the simulator. Now I play a ton more like tfmars, scythe, great western trail, gaia project, rising sun, kemet, probably some more. And I've made 5 or so mods for the game

Yes its still going. PGI is using it as their cash cow to help fund MW5:M. It gets a new mech chassis every month but you gotta buy them with real money unless you want to wait half a year. You dont have to spend a dime on the game if you dont want to though.

I enjoy running through the game with multiple builds.

Admittedly I have about 95hrs in Crusader Kings 2 and it really did have fun moments just too far and few in between. Too many frustrations with that game. Didn't have much dlc though so maybe it's more fun when you're a millionaire and can afford that shit.

Demon's Scar might not be that efficient early soul levels though but I guess the r1 black flame true combo will still pack a punch.
But imo I while its a great pyro weapon overall nothing beats using it in duels really.

CK2 is their best modern game. Its legitimately a great game if you have the DLCs, its just unacceptably expensive.

Dota is far more aggressive ever since they killed sitting in the jungle for half an hour. Play support and actively switch lanes looking for kills and push towers. High ground is still a bitch to take so you want to start death balling earlier and spear head before the enemy can rubber band back. They also got rid of pms and aquila, buy two stat whore items instead like wraith bands, null tally's, and bracers and start looking for trouble.
