We never saw daytime insomnia ganeplay with Nomuras version, 2011 gameplay was the only nomura gameplay and the insomnia gameplay is only at night there.

I disagree, I think that the FF series were always overrated as hell, even during the SNES and PS1 era there were way better RPGs available.

To me XV was about as forgettable and easy as most of them, FFXII is the only good GAME in the FF series, it is a series that was always all about spectacle and mass appeal, gameplay be dammed.

ff has probably always been a little overrated, it's not the best jrpg series, but still - it used to be one of the most respected brands in gaming. every time a new final fantasy came out, it was a big event. you always knew at least that square would make a quality game that pushed the limits of the hardware it was on.
now, ff is completely irrelevant thanks to all the flops square's been making for mainline games. the spinoffs are the only good aspect of the franchise anymore, and there's more hype for smaller, newer series like kingdom hearts and persona now than ff. the ff7 remake would have to be a masterpiece to fix the damage that square has done to the franchise lately.

We have confirmation that the JP version of KH3 is getting NG+ and Critical mode TOMORROW meaning it wont be long before it gets in all versions

Since Platinum follows similar philosophies as Capcom when it comes to action games, a victory for Nier: Automata is like a victory for Capcomfags as it shows that Capcom’s approach to game design is superior to SE’s.
