What the longest you've ever played vidya in one session? Do you think you're addicted?

Terraria for 12 hours

I played FF4 for 40 hours straight when I first got it.

These hardcore Session dont have a lot to do with addiction, but rather with New release.
Me and my friends went for 36 hours straight when TBC was released back in the day.
Today more people are addicted to the little dopamine shots they get from people liking / replying to their posts, which is a much more destructive addiction if you ask me.

once played league of legends 20 hours straight, my only rest being 5 minutes to take a shit.

36 hours of Counter Strike Source on December 25-26 2007. After i slept for 18 hours i was still dizzy, had a M4 in my hands for hours, crosshair burned in my vision, and there were fucking terrorists bunny hopping around corners in my house. That shit traumatized me.

I remember playing NWN for about 15 hours and UT2k4 over the dial up internet for almost 12.

Once I spent about 26 hours powerleveling in Tibia. Nowadays I can't even find two hours a day to sit down and play anything at all.

The longest I usually can play a game in one sitting is 4-6 hours or no matter how fun the game is it starts feeling like a chore to play.
So I'll stop for a few hours or just continue the next day.

im ashamed to admit, Watch_dogs, literally played from midnight release all through out the night into the day.

I played MW2 multiplayer not long after it came out and I just fucking sat there like a literal potato on a couch. I don't know how long I had been sitting but eventually I went to get up and get some chips. I took a few steps, opened the cupboard, and then all of a sudden it felt like my head was swirling around in circles. I tried to stabilize myself and hit my head against the cupboard door and then hit the ground and was OUT. I woke up maybe 30 seconds to a minute later and decided that I should probably not do anything like that anymore.

I played near 30 hours of FFXIV Heavensward when it launched, shit was so good.

Wanted to do the same with Stormblood but the server issues fucked that up and I reckon I'm probably too old and fragile to do it for Shadowbringers now.

Lmao i had the same with WoW Interface.. Next morning at the breakfast table i wanted to press "O" IRL to contact my friends.. Shit scared me so much that i never played that long again ever.

Uninterrupted without toilet breaks or grabbing a drink or whatever would probably be doing Bladder of Steel on Rock Band 2, where you do every track in the game in a row without pausing or failing. It's a little over 6 hours.

I'm 28 and regularly play for 10-12+ hours at a time. Do you just eat really unhealthy junk food and exercise?

I played Dragon's Dogma: DA for over 40 hours straight on complete accident. It's the only time I've been so immersed in any game that I didn't think of "I'll do just x and then go to bed", I didn't feel tired during that time.
Other than that, I don't feel strong compulsion that I must play and I don't play every day. I wouldn't say I'm addicted.

I pirated Factorio at noon and played it until 10:00, then never played it again. Now my body reacts to seeing it.

Nowdays I rarely play more than an hour, I get bored quickly unless the game is a masterpiece.

I don't remember in the slightest but I'm fairly sure I had multiple 10+ hour sessions of tf2 back in its heyday.
Usually I stop for at least a few minutes to eat though, but there is the amusing anecdote of not eating for several hours after I should have while playing don't starve.

I think my longest was a 26-hour Terraria session, only stopping for bathroom breaks and to eat. Once hardmode hits and the ball really gets rolling I just get lost in the grind. This happens every few years but the latest was probably the longest. It may or may not have been because I knew my gf of 3 years was about to dump me.

I can easily play for up to 6 hours of any game I'm into if other obligations don't get in my way, but I usually keep it to 2.

Almost 3 days straight progression raiding in WoW back during Lich King.
Had a few 24-48h sessions in XIV recently as well.

Like 16 hours back in the WoW days. I think I played RDR2 for 10 hours straight a few months ago which was very surprising.

Binged for about 72 hours straight in early wotlk as a 16 year old. Now i can barely squeeze in 1-3 hours a day with work and lifting.

I played stardew valley for 24 hrs straight first time I played it. I only stopped by because my thumb hurt and I couldn't continue playing. I started making profit spread sheets so I knew what to plant on what day.
