Have you ever replayed a single player game more than once? If so, which and why?

i normally play single player games more than once to get a better formed opinion on the game.

that being said, i'm only ever going to play oneshot once because i fucking love it and im afraid playing it a second time will ruin my opinion of it

I've replayed many single player games a shit load of times before. I do it because I just like those games that much and replaying a game that I've played before is often a more appealing choice than playing a new game(because so many look like shit).

I complete Super Mario World every year as a tradition.

I've beaten FFT at least 5 times.

Metal Gear Solid 3, around 8 times, because I liked the characters.

mario 64 because I never got all the stars so I kept finding new shit and it was just fun to play in general, several years between each playthrough starting all the way from release

GTA4 10+ times. I need an excuse to keep playing with those sweet physics and hurtboxes. Nothing is more savory, as far as singular combat moves in any video game go, as OHKOing someone with a perfect baseball bat swing across the chin. It's a shame GTA5 removed this most important of features.

Bayonetta because it's the greatest game ever made I have over 100 hours.

Doom 2016 about 6 times fully because pressing F gives me a dopamine rush that makes me feel better about being a failure

the witcher 3, I wanted to platinum it(then they updated and added more achievments after I did, and I gave up)
re2, re1, remake, remake2, re4 and 5 all multiple times each
