God Hand

Finally finished this game and damn it was just pure fun. I haven't had the urge to replay a game immediately after finishing it so much before. The game gives you so many things to spice things up that it never gets repetitive and bosses truly test what you've learned so far.

What do you think about it?

So did I. Then I found out that there is no new game plus and quit.

You are not fooling anyone. Nobody likes God Hand. There's just a handful of losers that pretend to because they wrongly think it makes them cool.

Okay IGN

play on Hard, changes the game so radically it might as well be NG+

It genuinely is a good game. Even though I was getting my ass handed to me every second in Hard mode i still enjoyed it. Real shame that unless it gets a sequel we'll never get to experience anything quite like it.

One of the best CA games for sure, too bad it's known only amongst two people and the game's legacy is nowhere to be found

>Real shame that unless it gets a sequel we'll never get to experience anything quite like it.

>Those eternal teasers over at Capcom are at it again, this time with producer Jun Takeuchi hinting at a project that "will make our fans think, 'wow, they’re making that?'" A surprising new game from Capcom, then? Sounds like it, but what could it possibly be?

I wanna play with new moves that I got during the first playthrough, instead I am back to stage one. I understand that the damage would make things unbalanced but I just don't care.

Game's difficulty was really good and you never thought that you were offed by some cheap move from a boss/enemy. Does the simplicity of levels makes the game better or worse? What do you think Yea Forums?

Please don't make me hope, I do not need to be let down.
You unlock all moves after the first stage in Hard mode, you just need enough gold to buy them.

you can savestate scum if you're emulating in casino poker to get a ton of money and unlock basically everything if you resume a cleared profile

>You unlock all moves after the first stage in Hard mode
Welp, I guess I should've finished that first level.

Save state the shit out of video poker and you will be flowing in gold

Love it

I think it's absolute shit and one of the worst action games i ever played.

Amazing soundtrack though.

All of my phone's notification sounds are various yells and HYAHs from enemies.

Yeah it can be a bit misleading being dropped right back at the start with all vanilla moves but I assure you that is the case. Either savestate the casino or just die enough times and by the time you beat elvis again you'll have a ton of gold since each death boosts your gold at chapter clears. You also get some pretty broken "God" archetype moves aswell.

I'm Alexander the Great!

Yikes!
What did you not like about it?

Quick, claim your roulette wheel move before a random user wastes it on a random thug!
DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DON'T LIKE THE BALL BUSTER (BALL BUSTER)

Name your top 3 action games.

You're not Alexander!

Dragon Kick your ass into the Milky Way!

>expecting some faggot on this board to actually say why he said he doesn't like the game

Just git gud and not die and kill most of your enemies in like level 3 so you get a shit ton of gold at the end

Kicking your ass!

DmC:Devil may cry
God of war(2018)
Metal gear rising: revengeance

My wife's son's dad works at Nintendo.
It's a Switch Exclusive:
GodARMs

If any game deserves a remaster it's this game.

Widescreen support, master the audio for 5.1, upres/rehaul low res textures.

>GodHand with 1:1 motion controls
>it's an ARMs spin-off and has little to do with the original game

talk about a monkey paw situation

Oh... Uh, forget I asked then.

So, God Hand is next on my list. After I finish it what should I play next in "cuhrayzee" or "character action" games.

I've played:
W101
Ninja Gaiden 1/2/3
Bayo 1/2
DMC 1/2/3/4 and soon 5, also DmC
MGRising
God of War 1/2/3 and its spinoffs, have not played the reboot
Vanquish

Help me out, brothers.

Wonderful 101
Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma
Vanquish

I'm sorry user, i did so once and i learned the God Hand community is not something i want to bother with in that fashion so i will not do it again. I finished the game 3 times, once on normal and twice on hard, the second time to see if i just "wasn't getting it" and then i proceeded to delete it from my HDD, that's how much i hate it.

I don't know why this matters to you but do you want me to include any entries or just one from each franchise when applicable?

that wasn't me

Why did they remove Pan Drop in the english version?

I am inclined to agree with this

Any entries are fine but try not to go too overboard with just one franchise. I'm just trying to understand your point of view as to what makes a good action game.

It's fun but I hate how you're punished for playing well. At least make moee health items spawn so you don't have to constantly hold yourself back.

Well since you only want me to list 3 game i cannot work with both your rules so I'll just name one per franchise.

>Ninja Gaiden 1 (Black/Sigma)
>Devil May Cry 1
>Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

I went into God Hand with an open mind and heart as well as high opes user, trust me when i say i am not being malicious, i never expected to hate it so much. I love the soundtrack, best in the genre, i really like the """""story""""" and characters as well, however i have nothing positive to say about the gameplay other than that it's properly animated.

i understand ninja gaiden 1 and metal gear
but i have no idea why you like dmc1 and not god hand gameplay

I want a Switch port of Godhand.

Not for me, because I'm never going to buy a Switch, I just want to see the zoomers crying that the game is shit because they dont know how to play

Zoomers dont buy the switch.

Hey you know what that's fine, I know God Hand isn't for everyone but atleast you gave the effort and managed to play it through before making up your own opinion. I personally love the combat myself, but you must have your reasons so I'll just leave it at that.

I don't understand your post, DMC1 and God Hand are nothing alike.

ALRIGHT FAGGOTS! TIME TO BEAT THE GAME WITH YOUR GOD HAND TIED BEHIND YOUR BACK! THAT MEANS KICK ME SIGN AND NO RIGHT-HANDED PUNCHES!

Nice user. It's certainly unique in the genre so i can see how some people might like it. I really wanted to but i just could not see it. In any case i did not walk away from the experience empty handed, i got some memes and i still listen to the soundtrack.

Doin' it. Wish me luck.

GROVEL

Mad World

Actually, just play everything by Clover/Platinum. And then get fucking hyped for Astral Chain.
