Toejam and Earl had a sequel, Panic on Funkatron

a sequel that carries on the first games mechanics

Is it enjoyable? I was a Genesis kid growing up but I've still never touched the series.

You can play them in any order you want. Give them all a chance if you can.

It's just as good and builds on the original

There were three T&J games before but the new one goes back to the gameplay of the original.

the gameplay is fine since it practically plays the same as the genesis one but im not really digging the graphics.
the characters dont blend in well with the 3d levels. its like two different art styles clashing.

also, the animation looks a bit wonky. like, something just seems off about toejams walk cycle.

This looks like a fan game made in unity. Also the jokes and artstyle feels like it's trying way too hard to be 90's. The Genesis one was also 90's cheese but it felt natural considering it was made during that era. 5/10 game.
